Where are the glow plugs located. I have a 95 tiltmaster 4500.?
I wonder if this can also make it stay running
Appreciate it
I'm looking to get some kind of decent tungsten grinder. Been lookin at this badboy.
Pretty solid machine!
I swapped one of those engine and trans into a 92 C2500. Those shutoffs are such a common failure I deleted it and put a manual cable into the cab that controls it. I pulled the cable and turn the key off. My daily driver for 3 years now.
What do you get for mpgs? Thanks
City 15. County roads 55mph 22. Highway 65, 20mpg. Go over 65 it drops dramatically. Thats with a 4.10 gear. 3.73 is too tall the truck was an absolute dog.
Truck is illegal...only in California
How much powder to cover a typical bumper??say from an old school car from the 60’sor 70’s
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! Did not look at the fuel shut off... I was ready to have the damn truck towed in for what I thought was a bad Injection pump ($$$!!) but my cable to the shut off seemed to be hung up!! Truck starts now after being down for half a year
Its always the stupid stuff...
Poor design build because of no baffle. It is a thumb down . God bless America!
That was a great video very informative I have the same truck engune and I need a video on how to set the timing
Where are the inner baffles?
My name is Jeff and I’m a mechanic
You move so fast bro
Whats its use
Its a snout for a leaf vacuum.
Nice video jeff
Thanks for watching Robert
Can you restore pitted bumpers and grilles
Depending on the degree of pitting, some textured powders may fill in some low spots, but it's probably not the best option.
Unless that's differrent from the 773 which that model is derived from then all you do is raise the cab and lay on a board and you can get right to the alternator and it comes right out easy and you dont' have to dissaseble any of that junk you were pointing too. takes like 2 minutes to raise the cab up.
I tried that route first, it would not pass that way, so I'd say there is difference between the 773 and S185.
My 773 was giving extremely high voltage and would traction lock after a while fuse box smoked then would start by itself had to unplug negative terminal to stop it now no power to the ignition anything to help and ignition diagram I can follow?
@@markwarren9631 the S185 has a turbo that’s probably why
My truck is not getting any fluid
Very cool! That's so wonderful, Mark!
Thanks Isolde!
Thank You and your family! This has been incredibly helpful for our 1992 NPR. oredering the engine stop assembly today!
My pleasure!
where did you order yout engine stop from?
you could have simply put a mechanical lever cable in the cab, would have been cheaper and the same thing.

Docs Garage Werks thanks! Its a Col-Met booth. Still working like a champ.
Nice.. Yea I been looking but all the ones I've seen have bad reviews long term. 🤘
@@docsgaragewerks I hear ya....We've been running strong on this one since '08.
Hi where do you put the starter fluid for this truck? I here the same clicking sound
I don't use starter fluid for this truck, as it wasn't getting any fuel. Good luck.
Thank you sir! And your cousin! Like you I am no mechanic, Stone fabricator ! On my way back to the truck to try this ! I didn’t know what the fuel shut off was. Sad but true !
You're welcome, good luck to you!
Thank you very much! Ran into the same problem on a S130. Got her out and the new one in.
Bryon Quillen youre welcome hope it helped!
sir could you please tell me which tungsten alloy electrode is good in order to maintain the sharp tip for long time during ac welding of stainless steel. I want sharp tip to remain as it is even after welding
I am a fan of 1% Zirconated for AC welding, and Ceriated Tungsten for DC welding.
How well does it contain the dust? Is it loud? Did you find anything you don’t like about it after all these years? Thanks!
Which of their electrodes for TIG have you used? I have their 2% Thoriated, Zirconiated, Pure, 1.5% & 2% Lanthanated & 2% Ceriated. I am actually thinking of getting some 4% Thoriated and some Tri-Mix or Cryo-T. As long as the dust is contained and dealt with Thoriated is not very radioactive. In fact the Tungsten offers great radiation shielding and doesn’t register much counts over ambient if any depending on size. I would keep the 4% for very critical welds. Their electrodes are a big step up in quality from the competition, especially their Wolfram line.
@@AldoSchmedack I switched to 1% Zirconiated several years ago, but have tried E3, Ceriated, Tri-Mix and still use pure for Aluminum occasionally, but have found Zirconiated to be able to foot the bill for most everything I weld DC & AC. Thanks for watching!
I've been very pleased with it, it's past time to change the grinding wheel, but dust is very minimal. When I do change the wheel I'll see if I can remember to grab a picture and see what is on the inside of the machine. It is very quiet. Actually keep it on a shelf behind my welder and it stays clean there.
What colour exactly did you go with satin black?
That one was 20% gloss black
Very simple, get a shop with industrail electricity, an industrial press, some machined dies, all set. Pulling your leg here. Thanks for the video.
Yes that's it! Thanks for watching!
Thanks. Good to know. I got a oddball 1991 Motorhome with the same 4bd1-t engine. I had no idea about the fuel shut off. Or the where the temp sensor is. On a class A Motorhome the engine is difficult to work on or even look at. I noticed today that two exhaust manifold studs are missing. Otherwise it runs like a charm.
You're welcome Paul Baker, good luck to you, I'm sure it's tight on that class A.
How does it plug in? 120?
Laurie Hilderbrand yes it is 120 volt standard US plug in.
just curious, what does the powder taste like?
