We just assembled our kura bed and the nursery is exactly as this but the ladder is on the otherside of the wall.did u do any change while assembling it?

I live with my grandmother our environment is ok but nothing Montessori kind of sad

So my baby usually loves sleeping in his floor bed (similar setting) but out of no where he is going through a stage where he just gets out of bed and plays and I go back in and put him back and he does it again for ages. Anyone else having similar issues, what to do should I just let him roam freely until he decides to sleep?

Oh my God, is she really 11-12 months old? Such a smart girl!! My daughter is almost 9 months old now, I can’t believe that just in 2-3 months she can be walking that well and understanding everything so clearly 😱

I am looking at setting up a room for my son soon, how did the ikea bed go? i am thinking of also using it for my montessori room. Would you recommend it after using it for sometime.

How easy was it to make the floor bed Ikea hack, did you follow any online instructions? I was looking at the Ikea assembly instructions and those looked so complicated, let alone un-haked

She is so cute! I try to do the same kind of things, but my daughter refuses to eat solids (now 14 months old). So still waiting for eating/serving/cleaning skills here

She has really boring toys though. Even for a minimalist approach that room is drab sad and boring. No room for open toys, or creativity

I love seeing things like this, I taught my daughter to use cutlery from the start of weaning, she's now almost 2 and cleans her own face, hands and her table and chair, will tidy toys away, fold clothes and put them away and I'm currently weaning my second child and my daughter enjoys helping him use a spoon and she'll even help me change and dress him as well as dress herself. I absolutely love montessori! It's the way myself and my mother were raised and I can honestly see the difference between education levels in the children who follow montessori. It helps children discover what they are capable of and they love it 💕

Cute room, well done! Ignore the ignorant, I doubt your child will freeze, especially 8n a modern day home, the you'llget a cold with a mattress on the bed is left over stage from a significantlydifferent point in human history. It's much safer for a child to not be in a crib and be at a height where they can safely have their independence.

I am glad to see that I am not the only that has things as a work in progress. We love our floor bed. But my baby is not mobile yet and I know I have to get things ready very soon. You have a great set up. Thanks for the video.
