Have a look around my DIY succulent garden in Toowoomba, Australia.
Temu Sphere Unboxing 3
Please only shop on Temu after learning the risks and ethical concerns. Read listings very carefully for product details and always check reviews. Don't spend more than you'd be willing to lose.
Please note that the larger sphere I have labelled as Yellow Calcite was bought as quartz, but it is so scratched up I kept thinking it was calcite and that made it into the video. I suppose it does look more like quartz on the inside. Obviously, I'm no expert on what these spheres actually are. Learning about them is the long-term goal and activity of this hobby. For the short term, it's just "ooh, pretty rocks."
My third package was not hidden behind the plant pot either. I've started addressing orders to my work instead (first time I've had a job where I could do that, so it didn't occur to me before). Should get the next one soon!
I've discovered that the coupons Temu is offering me are decreasing in value. Today all the coupons were around 25% off, rather than 30% off of previous weeks. And most of them require over $100 spends. Annoying, but not surprising. I think I've done the bulk of my Temu spending already anyway.
I don't play any of the games or try to get the "free" items that require you to sacrifice time every day for months toward boring repetitive clicking and/or annoying your friends/family/acquaintances/random internet strangers to sign up. I just fill up my shopping cart, then only buy when coupon offers appear (unless there's an item that I really really want and it's nearly sold out). I also have no interest in the hassle of returning any of the disappointing spheres. I did look into the no-return refunds, but have read that Temu have recently stopped approving those as often as they used to. Rightly so, I guess.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing what spheres I was lucky enough (or not) to get from China!

Please only shop on Temu after learning the risks and ethical concerns. Read listings very carefully for product details and always check reviews. Don't spend more than you'd be willing to lose. My second order is here! Let's see what I got. I was worried after reading the reviews for the shipping company Temu uses in Australia. Seems a lot of packages never get delivered, especially in western...

A Toowoomba Bromeliad Society outing to ride the "train" around Pohlman's Nursery! I was very excited for this trip, since I first joined the Society right after they had taken this same trip and everyone was talking about it. Now, several years later, I got to go too. Enjoy! 9:20 Gallery So I went on a bit of a shopping spree over the last few weeks. See what crystal spheres I bought in my first two orders (shipped together) from Temu! Everything I've read says that Temu spheres are fakes or poor quality, but I can't find any pictures or video evidence besides the reviews on Temu itself. Let's see what they send me! I've rekindled my childhood love of rock collecti...

Picking the 'Best' Fantasy Aloe Seedlings
Переглядів 1562 роки тому
I'm loving my little 1-yearish-old aloe seedlings lately, and want to show them off! What trait would you breed for in an aloe? Bright colour, big teeth, even spots? Or something more quirky, like big uneven blotches of white? I'm just happy if the plant survives or thrives after I've ignored it for months. Thanks for watching! is therwe no harm during rainy season due extrime umidity i love so much your garden but saccullent cannot servibe during rainy season so any idea pllet me know❤❤
Love this video! Thank you for posting it. Using the rocks to create a 'raised bed' for the Broms was such a great idea and looks wonderful compared to what it was before the transformation. As a plant lover who lives in a tiny apartment (in the USA) with no yard or garden and just a few mini Neoregelias in pots in my window, this video was a real treat. Congratulations on a project well done! 🙂(My sister who used to live on the Gold Coast had a magnificent display of them in her back-yard, where of course they grew like weeds!). .
You have a beautiful collection
I have miss your garden !
Beautiful. We can make some things happy here in Tucson, but there will be no aeoniums the height of a person. Lovely to see so many plants grown without all the heat stress and winter damage we can sustain. That 'Mission to Mars' will be getting even larger for you. And 'Falling Waters' will get big, too.
love your show..
Wow Lovely Plants ~ Thank you for good sharing 😊 LIKE 11 My friend, have a good relationship 😊
Beautiful collection, beautiful plants in a beautiful garden.
Felicitaciones!! Bellísimo jardín!!
Plants placing is good to visualize how u want ur yard to look like after . The Succies variety give diff texture & dimension . The rocks n boulder added appeal to over all impact to knit all together . ❤️ it 😊

Beautiful! 😍
Your garden is beautiful 😍
Your beautiful garden is a credit to you and this was a lovely video to watch, got to see everything. May I ask how you deal with mealybugs? My Aeonium Inferno and Mardi Gras are taking a beating. I've been spraying with soapy water but not getting on top of them. Thanks
I have tried several things for mealybugs, none of them worked well: Isopropyl alcohol, neem oil, even systemic granules (on my non-flowering plants). Right now I use undiluted methylated spirits in a spray bottle (good for garden tool sterilizing too), wet the plant all over with that, then about five minutes later rinse it off with plain water so it doesn't burn the leaves. Repeat every few days until all the eggs hatch and die. And even after all that, I'm still not sure it really works (my most infested potted plant they just kept coming back and I gave up). Sorry, I haven't found a tried-and-true method yet. Mealybugs do seem to prefer thirsty plants, so I can give them a soak and a bit of seaweed solution to help survive the mealies.
Maybe one day I’ll also have enough in my collection to give away..😊
I used to think the same. The plants in the ground grow much faster than my potted plants. I hope yours grow quickly!
I never thought I would Like rock covered everywhere. But your video has totally proved that wrong. I really like how you have done this. No mowing grass all the time yet so many amazing plants still to catch your eye. I really really like this. So glad I watched your video. You have an amazing collection of plants.
You are much braver than me with all your cacti.
I think you garden is unique, beautiful, and inspiring . .. just the best
