I pre ordered this as well. As much as I love the Halloween series I don’t understand how they didn’t include any extras for ash bs evil dead. Little disappointing for the price but I do dig the poster and vhs style box. Could take or leave the plush. It’s cool but not really a plush collector. Would rather have seen them include some love for ash. Also was hoping for 2 individually boxed games for the price. Is the dlc on the game card? Didn’t see any included codes🤔 Either way nice unboxing. Hope to get mine soon as Amazon Canada is saying shipping late November????

I’m guessing the cart is incomplete because they plan on expanding on the game . They showed up cabs in the hub menu that were covered up .. very interesting

hey the solution to get sound with the analogue duo, is there is a option in the analogues menus to enable Hu Card Sound, if you click that on, it will now allow you to have sound when u play cd games. another option ive heard to play cd's properly is there is a setting in the menu to disable the internal cd drive, if you do that, it will work as well.

I think it would be a good Mod to add an internal ROM game and built-in speakers like Atari had planned.

I had that model a little over 25 years ago. Since I saw what looked like speaker holes in the top I mounted a small amp and speaker inside. Not sure whatever happened to it though.

definitely saving this video for future reference. i plan on getting myself 2 analogue pockets in december for my sister and myself. we had been talking about how we'd want to play some of the older pokemon games but didn't really want to hunt down legit copies and working hardware. i was originally gonna do just that, but the more i looked into my options, the more i was swayed by these flash carts and r4s. id only need the APs and the 2 carts with all the games we wanted loaded into them. though im not sure if we'd be able to trade with each other, but it wont hurt to try since im grabbing a link cable. it theoretically should work but if it doesnt, we would still have plenty of games to play even some rom hacks like Unbound. the sd card setup might be the most challenging part out of all this since i do not own a computer... i do however, have a tablet and a usbc sd/micro sd card reader dongle. so im hoping i wont struggle too hard setting it all up 😅

Now, this is the kind of video game console that I simply like the best. Even though it doesn't have everything, the Atari 5200 or even the Atari 7800 has.

I am sure you replaced the regulator with a +5 volt version. There really isn't much circuitry to them. Always a good idea to replace old capacitors as you did... Thumbs Up! Did it work after you cleaned it up?

Were you able to attach the reset button that came with the 7800 adapter?

Very informative video. I did have a question. Your alphabetical folders containing the cd games show a single file for each game. Did you simply add just the cue file for the game in these folders? Thanks!

Great video. Simple and effective mod. The five screws holding the shell together are regular Phillips #2, but the two screws holding the cartridge port on seemed to like the fit of a #0. A #2 would strip them. Once the port was out, I stuck an Activision cart in it and you could literally see the stress marks in the plastic showing where you need to trim it back. I used a 12 volt Warrior die grinder from Harbor Freight. Not the world's best tools but for working on plastic, more than up to task and only $35.

This loss is like answering the question “give me an example of how you failed” and you give them an example where you barely failed. :) You can’t win them all. I’m sure the time you enjoyed them while you had them was well worth the dollar and change you lost.

I got the AVS last November, and I absolutely love it! The NT Mini is pretty cool itself, but the wobbly cartridge slot, along with the lack of a reset button (which is crucial if you want to save things like a season in Tecmo Super Bowl) make the AVS my preferred way to play NES games on HDTVs.
