Build Massive Muscle: Push Workout Part 2
Переглядів 19221 день тому
My new push day workout day two is focused on getting bigger. The thought is if the muscle is bigger then more muscle fibers are available to be recruited to lift heavier. Heavier weight will lead to getting bigger and the cycle continues. Try implementing some of the things I do to your workouts if you don’t already. Things that can help you get big are increasing mechanical tensions or metabo...
Unleashing Strength: Push Workout Part 1
Переглядів 147Місяць тому
Tailored to building strength! I plateaued on my bench press and decided to make a whole new plan! This is day 1 of 2 that I train push movements during the week and it is focused more on strength. Lots of pause reps to increase the intensity! Muscles trained are chest, triceps, shoulders, quads, and calves. A whole lot to cover so if you can workout more days a week then I recommend splitting ...

Follow Along HIIT Workout | Better Than Treadmill for Weight Loss

High intensity interval training (HIIT) combines intense bursts of activity with mild/moderate activity. These increases in intensity during the workout help increase your metabolism burning more calories during and even hours after the workout. This is much more effective that regular cardio. I'd always recommend doing HIIT training rather than getting on the treadmill unless of course you're ...

    hell yeah man, i just started mine today, did some negatives with 315, then some 225 mid rep rack press, then a set of 275 and then a set of 315 top rep rack press, i started eating a shit load more protein, goal is to bench 315 at 175 bodyweight

      That’s awesome! Those lifts are better than mine! I weigh 163 right now so may end up at 175 too. Better watch out, I’ll try to beat you to it!! 😁

    Man, I'm so dumb. For 3 years straight, I haven't done a deload even once.. It was so bad that I'm only lifting 50% of my max for a year now, and my running speed went from 4:30 min/km to 8:30 min/km... I used to do 60 push ups no sweat, but now, 15 push ups is an impossibility... I'm gonna do a deload now... thanks man❤ My worst mistake was not listening to my body. my strength was going down for weeks on end thinking it was just a "bad day"...

      Glad you found my video and you can now benefit from deloading too! Hope your recovery goes well so you can get that strength back and go harder!

    Just doing a deload this week

  • @ThomaConjugate
    @ThomaConjugate Місяць тому

    for me, I deload whenever I can't move the weight how I want. For example 500 lbs squat for me should be rpe 3 or less, but this week it was like 7 or 8. I knew it was a deload time. Or It matched my rhythm (deload every 4- 6 weeks when I push the intensity)

    you really don't need deloads for hypertrophy

    • @TLPWRlifter
      @TLPWRlifter Місяць тому

      You are so wrong it's hilarious. If you are training hard you will need deloads especially if you aren't enhanced. You not needing a deload isn't a sign you're a savage It's a sign that you aren't working hard.

    yeah I've been giving my back hell the last 2 months and it's sore and tired after 3 days, time to deload the back. Arms and shoulders are okay though

  • @TristanJohn2187

    Example if 180 pounds x 2/3 = 120 ounces. About 30ml per ounce. 120 ounces x 30 = 3600ml. Add 10oz every 15 minutes of working out. So for a 45 minute workout add 30 ounces or 900 ml. This total is close to 150oz. = 4500ml = about 1.2 gallons. Best to do drink more water just before the workout so you’re not lifting dehydrated. Drink some every few sets or so and extra after to make up for all the water lost from sweating.

    Dependent on what muscles you're working out, this is only ONE of MANY ways to do push ups. It's not the CORRECT way.

    I would like to try this.. but I don't think that it will have the same affect on me as it has on you, because you are 5'6 and I am 6'5... Or do you think I'm already making excuses for myself?

    • @TristanJohn2187
      @TristanJohn2187 Рік тому

      You will see positive changes despite your size. If you are trying to lose weight, then you have an advantage (on average depends on genetics) of having a higher metabolic rate. If trying to gain muscle/size and starting out, you will need to eat more (not junk food) to meet the calorie deficit. I think this is great for just getting into working out, and then moving onto using weights will further growth. Mentality is the biggest obstacle though. Pushing through the first weeks is always the most difficult. I had 3 years of lifting experience and knew the mentality to start. Even if you hate it for a while push through those first weeks, the positive changes will come!
