Got me right in the feels. That Lowly Worm reference took me back to snuggling up with Teddy Ruxpin in my He-Man jammies. The hardest choice back then was between if I wanted to see what Sally and Huckle Cat were up to or find out if the Bearenstain Bears have really had too much junk food. Take me back to faux wood panel walls, real wood televisions and inefficient fire hazards called Christmas lights. I miss those locally sourced, artisanal lead paint chip snacks almost as much as I miss having a hairline north of my back. I don't remember much about kindergarten despite doing it twice, but I can still remember the feeling of an 80's GM truck door handle and the satisfying "clack" of those GM seatbelts latching. James isn't wearing short shorts in this one and it's not an episode of Mailroom. 2/10 . . . Subscribed. I would have gone with VirJima Slimports for the channel name, but I've got to get back to writing "Meandering Memoire Manifesto of a first year Millennial".

I kinda have a thing for the TVR Chimaera. Didn’t know I could fetch one for that price. Hemmings occasionally lists TVR’s but other models made by them fetch for much more.

Seems you got to see some nice things here in austria! Due to conscription most austrians have their stories of interaction with the Pinzi. My favorite ones are: when i had to navigate from a map while our NCO was driving. He just tol me the endpoint and off we went. Suddenly he stopped in the midst on a path in the woods (that would have led to our target point) and said, "we should go left here". My argument: "But that's a mountain bike trail" was dismissed with "should be no problem". And that's the way we took. (The bike trail was not on the map, but we still roughly knew the directions we were taking and reached our destination. But it was quite narrow and not really made for two-tracked vehicles. The Pinzi didn't care. The second one was in the same week, but a comrade of mine was navigating. The NCO this time insisted on useing a horse ride trail with the argument "the Pinzgaure got it's name from a horsebreed, so we should be fine". We had to wiggle it between trees a bit at one occasion (4 men hanging off one side) because (who else would have guessed) the trail was quite narrow at parts. Again, the Pinzi didn't care. And at one exercise: -15°C and wind. The driver had to take the softcover off because the platoon comander had decided we would be standing rifle ready on the back. After doing that, he started scratching off the ice of the windscreen. And then on the inside of the windscreen😁

Funny how car guys are gun guys a lot of the time. Most of my track buddies like guns.

A purple R34 is one of my all time favorite "can't have it here" dream cars. If I ever move to NZ or AUS it will be either that or a 70's Ford Falcon Interceptor as my daily driver.

I was already a car person and intrigued by Japanese imports when you started the channel so I was immediately subscribed. Just commenting to encourage things in general, I appreciate all of it, but I did enjoy the whole contrasting auction results thing. More of that wouldn't go astray.

Skyline's are such special cars. The sound of an RB26 is unlike anything else. The R34 is definitely my dream car.

I was expecting that Jet engine to go higher then that. But prices on the Porsches is insane...

Long time car guy, none of this surprised me. Especially the Porsche people spending money. Perhaps one exception was the Jet engine price. Typical nonrunning or verified jets sell for scrap material values, think a couple hundred bucks or two or three turkish scatter trash.
