Something has changed. It's not as striking as the previous design makeovers I've seen you did before. Maybe it's the rendering? Please don't get me wrong. I love watching your redesign videos. There's just something different with this one. And I'm also thinking, that little elevated platform on the media/tv wall, isn't that a trip hazzard, especially if the client has small kids running around. I also don't get why the space had to be flipped on your redesigned images. On the actual photos, the client's main door is on the left hand side, but on the 3d model of your proposed design solution, its on the right? Wouldn't it be easier in the eyes to see the improvements you made if it's the same orientation? No hate, just genuinely curious.

Pretty, indeed, but not very Japandi, if you by that mean Japanese and Scandinavian. Neither of those cultures would ever walk right in to a livingroom without first take off their shoes. A small hallway is a must.

Just to be fair: I understand you guys gotta make money to keep the channel going, but the first option: “$100 Minimalist” (which is the only wall space I have) is nowhere to be found in your descriptions; essentially making this a “come for a $100 - leave with $2K idea” type of video… Which is kinda misleading. I do give you guys credit for the great work and designs. But I personally just think it all needs more transparency to make the whole experience a bit more balanced, as your push for higher tiers just stick out like two sore thumbs; leaving minimalists with no options at all 😊🎉

Change the pillow covers to white. Place a white table runner along the coffee table. Place the curtain holder higher up near the ceiling. Change the curtains to white or grey. Make it long. Paint the chairs white or black 3:03

Sofa supposed to be where tv is including shoe cabinet, could get more area+ tv is visible from bed.

not a fan of this layout but it is the owner’s choice. the owner should have just ask the designer for the layout. I would put the computer/study in the living area. it is always refreshing to be in fromt of the window while working/studying then have the living area open to the kitchen and dining since it is always the case…. having guest or family in the living while waiting for the meal having open interaction. this is also the place where A/C is needed at most. the existing layout makes the living room so far from everything that is happening in the house

I like the changes you made, but I don't feel like you gave us a sample of the room fixed in it's original style. You just basically turned the room into a minimalist one.

Like everything except having the stove against the wall. It limits the size of pots you can use on that side for the stove.

I'm not a minimalist, but I liked this design. I would charge one thing... The dinning table area. Since you have cabinetry in both the living room and the kitchen along that wall, I would continue it in the dining room, creating a bench (with storage underneath).

I think the family needs to move out. That condo unit is too small for 4 people. Paying high amount for that small space is not worth it.

I think I have watch too much of the feng shui guy. As soon as I saw you suggested the sleeping area by the windows, my brain started screaming no.... If I recall sleeping like that creates anxiety because you are more exposed.
