i didnt think i'd have such a relaxing (while learning about smart interior designing) time until i bumped to this video. FANTASTIC LAYOUTING!!! especially using vertical spaces to maximize storages. //CHEFS KISS!!!

@@conikutch Thank you for your feedback. We will fix it on our succeeding videos. We will show a walk-through of all the rooms we design. We did that because based on the analytics, many viewers are not interested in the last part of the video.
I completely agree. I thought I’d hit fast forward by mistake. It almost needs a virtual walk through (literally) to see the transformation. Great job on the redesign though..
Thank you for your comment! The upper bunk is actually designed for an older one, while the baby’s secure sleeping arrangement is with the parents, based on their co-sleeping preference. I appreciate your concern and am glad you're watching closely!☺
To be fair, I preferred that mine didn't come with built-in cabinets, as it gave me and my architect more legroom to design my unit, instead of being compelled to work around a pre-built structure.
Their problem is that nobody in that household is cleaning….they just throw everything everywhere. It’s completely unrealistic to build a bed like that…with metal and glass walls. There’s not enough support to hold the second bed up and there’s also no privacy. Safety going up and down a ladder is also an issue. The way their place looked…it didn’t look like they could afford to do any of those changes. Changing the kitchen cabinets didn’t add any extra storage since it’s the exact same space that’s being worked with. If they had the money to make any of these changes….their place wouldn’t have looked like that in the first place because they would have already bought some pieces of furniture that could hold storage.
Thank you for your feedback! The design is based on the client’s preferences and lifestyle, and while it may not suit every household, it was created to provide practical solutions that work for them. As for the bed, it was designed to prioritize space-saving, with structural considerations in mind. Regarding the kitchen, the changes were made to improve functionality and organization within the same space constraints. I appreciate your insights and will keep them in mind for future projects!☺
Her maid/nanny lives with them in a 25 sq ft condo while Elaiza is off to work as a stewardess? I'm guessing that's her man watching some blurred image on the monitor. I think Elaiza should be concerned about why the place looks so cluttered if she has a yaya. From the cluttered space, it looks like her yaya ain't doing much.
It’s a good design makeover but I think bigger problem is that the residents live like slobs. My bet is that after a design makeover the junk and clutter will pile and collect in different unsightly ways.
@@rodbayan9974 Thank you for your comment! I totally get where you’re coming from. For this family, though, it’s just the couple and their child for now. The nanny is something they’re considering for the future, and since the mom is a flight attendant, they’re not often all at home together. For their current lifestyle, this setup is enough and works well for them. But I really appreciate you sharing your perspective-thank you for watching!
Thank you for your feedback! The dining area was kept near the door for practicality, the bunk bed maximizes space while being functional even for a toddler, and the glass partition ensures safety and privacy as requested by the client.
There is no way that glass and that ladder is safe for a baby/toddler. Even if your client asked for it, you as the professional should have explained to them all the ways a child could get injured by them. You need to learn more about babyproofing spaces.

Nice to know beautiful and tasteful design need not be limited to high-end housing, acres of space and bank-busting budgets.

I liked most of this, but... I saw you were needing a secured sleeping arrangement for a baby. How is an upper bunk secure for a baby?

Great transformation ideas. It gave me a lot of ideas to design my upcoming small house. Turn over will be in 2026.

Condo developers nowadays skimp on storage. Gone are the days when builtin cabinets are part of the turnover furnishings.

Depends on which country you live in.
I watched the entire video twice, but it didn't mention anything about how to qualify for the free design offer. Did I overlook something? Thanks!

Apologies for not clarifying in the video that the nanny is a future arrangement.
@@DesignBurst-2024 It doesn't make a difference as there is not enough space for four humans aside from the clutter that already exists.

I think the family needs to move out. That condo unit is too small for 4 people. Paying high amount for that small space is not worth it.

what happen to the baby crib? where will the baby sleep now?
Thank you for your comment! The client chose to remove it as she and her husband co-sleep with their baby, which works best for their family.

It was cluttered because the owners are lazy. New design is pointless if owners couldn’t bother to keep in neat.

im guessing this is a SMDC property. too small, too dense, and only maximised for profit.
