THE TOWN WITH NO NAME - Complete Walkthrough - The Worst Game Ever Made???
As a big sega cd fan this was a great review. Rise of the dragon is a terrific game. One of the most iconic games for the system. Jurassic park is a good game as well but it really picks up deeper you get into the game. Long live the sega cd.
Black is great fun! Played/finished it on the OG Xbox years ago Not much going story wise doesn’t matter it’s all about the gunplay and environments
Enclave I took a chance on it when it was new and loved it
This console was so advanced I can't believe it failed after just a few years 😮
First off, I want to say I’m a huge and 64 fan. It was part of my college years and rode over it. I’ve already sold my PlayStation for financial reasons and I must be probably one of the only ones that agreed with Nintendo‘s decision to stick with cartridges For the platform. Did Nintendo’s decision to stick with cartridges hurt them yes it did but I think if it weren’t for that decision, we probably wouldn’t of got some of the greatest games we did and also as prices came down on rum chips we got bigger games and perfect dark and cooker’s bad fur day on the biggest N64 cartridges at the time along with resident evil 2 plus we got super smash Bros which is still running to this day I know many people hate the N64 but for me it was one of my favourite Nintendo systems and remain so to this day Super Mario 64 was revolutionary and quite frankly, neither Sony or SEGA offered anything that was equal to it not even crash bandicoot could stand up to Super Mario 64
I just ordered a GDEMU to mod my Dreamcast. I also bought a 27" Sony CRT just to play Dreamcast on as well. Can't wait to play the amazing games!
Hey, Jake. REALLY enjoyed your video (ESPECIALLY the part where you repaired/replaced the traces on the SegaCD board?!?!?) - badass, dude!!! Uhh, bout Ecco The Dolphin, dough...🙄 It's NOT the same as the Megadrive (Genesis) build of the game - save the redbook audio. Some "upgrades" - - Q-sound - one of the few games that Sega included this tech to immerse the player in 3D(ish) sound. - the sound samples are "truer" to real sound (ie - Ecco's splashes) - the full motion video glyphs (they're kinda hokey, but informative) in the Atlantis library. A full motion video intro. - Five (5) additional (redesigned?) levels. Just thought I would mention a few differences I've noticed while playing, Bruv. Love your content & your channel. Liked & subbed. Rock On!!! 🎸🎸🎸
Urban Chaos also came out on PS2
I had cliffhanger on the regular Sega. It was a great game on there. I had a sega cd and didn’t know they had cliffhanger on it.
You shouldn't sleep on the Xbox version of Double Agent. It was essentially Chaos Theory 2 while the 360 version was its own thing. The OG version is miles better and the only one worth playing.
Dude, Breakdown was one of a kind, kinda like Shenmue. I thought it was severely underrated for its time.
Consoles are dead PC and mobile phones exist
First new console I bought with my own money (a couple years before, I’d bought a used NES). We really put those 4 controller ports to good use with mario kart, goldeneye, star fox and smash bros. We rented and bought games strategically (different friends bought different games and we swapped to save $). Also, controller: why are people still crying about it? Hand positioning was explained ON THE N64 BOX! Also, no game required you to use both the dpad and analog stick at the same time, it simply isn’t how games were designed at the time. Turok 1’s control scheme was brilliant and is how I always played goldeneye (Solitaire). I like the N64 controller so much I bought two for nintendo switch online and one is still in the box.
The constant quip edits are extremely obnoxious. I cant watch this. You dont need to make a cut to your face and a cringey quip every 10 seconds. Why does a literal documentary have to be one long skit? You dont have to force comedy/irony into everything.
Not all content is for all people, but that's okay. Sorry this wasn't your style, but I do appreciate the comment and the view; thanks for watching!!
Rtcw is amazing
Ya know, since making this video I've gone back to RtCW more recently, and I do need to amend what I said in the video a bit. I accused the game of being good but forgettable in 2024, and I think I was wrong; this game is pretty damn great!! I played it 20 years ago and enjoyed it, but it I gotta say it holds up today better than I gave it credit for😀 Thanks for watching!!
@@retrojakexy yeah it's pretty creepy too

But why use the imperial flag version of the japanese flag???
I dunno... I liked the way it looked I guess🤪 Honestly, I liked how it had that "traditional" rising sun Japanese look; didn't really put that much thought into it, lol. Thanks for watching!!
Dude!! I love your channel!
Thanks, and my channel loves you🤣 Thanks for watching!!
By the time Dreamcast came out, my house had switched over to Playstation. But only because, and I still remember, a guy my dad worked with at that time had bought a PS1. We weren't rich by any means and we were still using Sega Genesis at that time. But my point is that Sony, by then, had completely taken the console market by storm, and following the disaster that was the Saturn, Sega never recovered. Even though rival Nintendo was still using cartridges in their N64. With the launch of the PS2 and Microsoft entering the console market with the Xbox, plus Nintendo finally coming out with a disc console (Gamecube), Sega simply couldn't compete and bowed out of consoles.
It would have been an uphill battle, but if Sega could have included a DVD drive, secured more 3rd party support, and, most importantly, stop all the company infighting, they could have actually had a chance. I guess it wasn't meant to be though, but at least we're still getting Sega games now instead of them just going away all together. Thanks for watching!!
I like your content, but watching your vids quick adhd editing is exhausting to watch. And despise the likely heavy amount ot time editing all of this, I actually prefer to simply listen to your videos with the screen off. You would likely burnout less if you eased up on the new shot every 3 seconds approach. I'd rather see more of your content with less gif clips than the bombardment style here, instead of less frequent content and with this approach. still subbed tho. take from this what you will. I hope you relax the edit. not because of my comments, but because it's will be less effort for you to still get out good content
Funny you said this, because my next "Story of" video I'm toning all that down a bit. Trying to find that ballance between energetic and exhausting, lol🤪 I do appreciate the constructive criticism, and thanks for watching!!
great video Onyx
Thanks, I really appreciate that😁 Thanks for watching!!
What an ending xD
This is one of the most bizarre "games" I have ever played. Thanks of watching!!
Good video man, amazing content you have

Love the OG XBox I tryed to convert everyone I knew from Poo S 2 to Xbox and no one got it, Me “it’s got a HD ,Ethernet port and XBox live and online gaming“ My Mates “urrhh what’s that” 🫣🤬🤬 Splinter Cell 2 was awesome, I remember playing co-op on line one night and there was a bit with two guards sat on a sofa and you had to sneak up behind them and kill both at the same time but they kept hearing us and turning round, in the end we worked out that they could hear us talking to each other 🤯 we had to whisper to each other as we sneaked up behind them ! Made it So atmospheric, What a feature for back then, Shit I ain’t seen a game do it since. Also Splinter Cell Double Agent was right at the end of OG Xbox and Start of Xbox360 So they released on both console but there totally different games made by different game studios both Ubisoft but one made by Montreal and one by Milan (I think or maybe Shanghai) but the OG Xbox version was a much better game !! Rainbow Six Online Co-Op was Excellent, I remember the shower gun fight was the same as the film The Rock, Arrhh it was so good brings back mad memories
The OG Xbox had some awesome games, and Xbox live back in the day was AMAZING!! Thanks for watching!!
We really do need a definitive version of Skies of Arcadia on modern platforms
I would buy it in a heartbeat!! Thanks for watching!!
I thought you were gonna show footage from the expo. :( RJ
I showed a little bit throughout the video, but admittedly I meant to capture a lot more video, but I was a bit overwhelmed and Kinda forgot to get more footage, lol. Next year (or next convention) I'll get a whole lot more footage😁 Thanks for watching!!
Good to see you on video again. I guess I haven't been watching and the subject and channel name has changed. Sometimes life gets in the way. I see you like the horizontal slide. I am all about the vertical slide in a short box!
Good to see ya here Superguy!! I do like me the horizontal slide, though I can appreciate a good vertical slide too... especially in a short box🤪 I'm probably gonna start streaming again soon, so keep an eye out. Thanks for watching my man!!
@@retrojakexy Cool Beans! I will be looking out for it.
Have you been to any video game conventions? What was your experience like?? Like and subs ribe if you enjoyed, and thanks for watching!!
In a parallel universe, Sega released the dreamcast on DVD and it became the best of the early 2000s!
This is a universe I want to live in🤪 Thanks for watching!!
How some games are so simple and boring and nothing and others are so great and complicated, doesnt quite make sense to me .. i heard was a difference in the capability in the later years of it ...
Early games are usually much simpler than later in the lifespan games. The developers have more time with the hardware and figure out all the ends and outs of it, and that's why we usually see the most visually competent games closer to the end of a consoles life😁 Thanks for watching!!
I don't know who your editor is but this is done like a commercial with lots of flashing transitions and just layers and layers of stock photos and memes and crap. Documentaries shouldn't be edited like it's a Cici's Pizza commercial.
But I mean... Cici's pizza is so good, lol🤪 Not all styles are for everybody; I get it, it's fine. I'm my own editor BTW. Eventhough it wasn't for you, thanks for commenting and watching!!
You skipped Def Jam fight for NY
I mean... I didn't skip it, I just don't have it, lol🤣 I wish I did though... that things worth over $100!! Sad thing is, I had that game a bit after it first came out, and was going for $15 used! I got rid of it though... oh well, I'll get it again one day. Thanks for watching!!
Loved every idea they came up with. Innovative at the time.. I’m on board with canceling Shenmue to save money if it need be. But Sega was done no matter how you slice it. This wasn’t about the games. Sony… they just had more money, Media influence and Power. The slander and underhanded money hatting Sony was on… sega didn’t stand a chance. The Dreamcast however died but was resurrected in the form of “X-Box”. When the Dreamcast died I quit gaming and started getting into PC’s. A friend of mine told me to come back. Tons of Dreamcast titles was slated for sequels on Xbox with online gaming. He basically showed me how the Xbox is the Resurrection it needed to handle PlayStation. I was sold. The only problem… Xbox is American and it would be years before my initial thoughts become a reality. The Dreamcast still lives.
Not a fucking way should you cancel Shenmue
@@BavarianM Cancel Shenmue until the systems life cycle is secured. Too much resources pulled away for a game that underperformed early. Too much Money and man power used because project Berkeley was advertised in 99 in Japan. They Pulled Yu Suzuki off Virtua Fighter and many other games and had to hire Genki to port VF3. After Seeing what Soul Calibur did. They was supposed to stick to the script. Port every AM2 & 3 game. Give EA what ever they want. Capcom did their part on Dreamcast.
The Xbox was (at first) kind of the continuation of the Dreamcast, which would explain why I moved over it when it released, lol😜 There were some great Dreamcast ports and sequels on the Xbox, and the Dreamcast lived on through it more than any other console. Thanks for watching!!
Canceling Shenmue is a tough one... Sega Lord X recently purposed this idea in a video, and he had some very compelling ideas around the subject. While I see the financial positives by canceling Shenmue, I don't know if that alone would have saved them; they needed to sort out the ramped management issues they had, because they were rotting from the inside. Fixing that coupled with canceling Shenmue? Maybe, but I don't know if I could ever condone that because... I mean, it's SHENMUE, lol. Thanks for watching!!
@@retrojakexy You welcome. Thanks for making great content. I always thought that game finished the system off internally
I fell like the HD DVD was the beta max of the mid 2000's
Lol, that's a very apt comparison😆 Thanks for watching!!
I still have my 360 pro (20 or 60gb) sadly not with the blade interface. My top 3: Halo 3 multiplayer, Forza motorsport 2, Geometry war
All great games!! Geometry Wars was/is awesome😁 Thanks for watching!!
Holy shit the quality of this is insane. I'll be sure to watch this in the morning. Good shit, dude! If you ever need intro music, hmu!
Thanks, I really appreciate that😁 If you liked this, then check out one of my "Story of" videos on the Drwamcast, N64, and PS3. Thanks for watching!!
For a long time, just the threat of a red ring soured me on the 360 and i just waited for the Xbox One. (Because I had to play Red Dead Redemption 2.) But I eventually bought a used 360 but didn't play it very much and it developed the red ring. Have replaced it and am playing Lord of the Rings War in the North. Both wireless controllers had battery compartments that would not stay closed. I switched to a wired controller. No Assassin's Creed in your collection?
Yeah, the RROD was definitely a problem... I had an elite red ring, but beyond that I was pretty lucky compared to many. The slim model was a much better design. As far as Assasin's Creed; I had the original, brotherhood, and black flag back in the day, and enjoyed them, but I don't have any of them on the 360 as off right now. I do have a few on the PS3 and XB1 though😁 Thanks for watvhing!!

360... man... I miss it already.
And it misses you, lol😜 Still a great console to boot up till this day. Thanks for watching Terrific!!
@@retrojakexy I still have my Xbox 360 to play NCAA13. I'm glad we got it back though.
Skies of Arcadia was ok but nothing compared to ffv or ff8.
While I appreciate what the Final Fantasy series has done for the genre, and I'd never say they are bad games, they've just never really appealed to me... I know, blasphemy, lol! I played (part of) 5 back in the day and didn't care for it, , but I will admit that I've never played 8 (even though i own it), so maybe thats the one to change my mind whenever I get around to it. As it stands now though, I prefer Skies😁 My comments about it do have to be seen through the lense of a non-fan of the Final Fantasy series though. Thanks for watching!!
So I have jurassic park for the sega cd. It's basically a point and click adventure game. It gets all the hate because there several sort of action parts where you have to be fast and do things just right or it's an instant death. It was common for pc adventure games of the time to have 1 or 2 spots like this, but I think jurassic park sega cd has too many. You're probably gonna need a walkthrough at some point to finish it.
I've actually played a decant amount of the game since making this video, and you are 100% correct, lol😆 I really like the point and click adventure games of the 90's like Sam and Max, Monkey Island, Phantasmagoria, Bioforge, etc. so I've really enjoyed Jurassic Park. It's an old school game for an old school crowd. Thanks for watching!!
I don't have rose tinted glasses, I have the opinion now as I did then. You are forgetting that the n64 controller was the best controller at the time. The ps1 controller didn't have analog sticks yet. Yes, cross platform n64 games didn't have fmv sequences or cd quality music, but you forget that the n64 versions usually had better graphics. Most of the best n64 games the ps1 and saturn just simply weren't powerful enough to do. Ps1 had many more games, but 90% of the library was garbage. The best n64 games were miles better than anything on the ps1 or saturn. If n64 had been cd based, it would've destroyed the ps1 and even competed with the dreamcast and ps2. There's a reason nobody wanted the ps1 mini, the games don't hold up as well today and mostly weren't ground breaking, by the time the n64 came out the ps1 was a very unimpressive system. N64 also wasn't for kids, turok 1 and 2 and golden eye were more violent than anything on the ps1 except for maybe silent hill which looked graphically horrible. Love ps2 and ps3, but the ps1 might be the most overrated game console of all time.
While I appreciate the N64's innovation in the conteoller department, I never liked that thing! Admittedly, it worked fantastic for Mario 64, but many games seemed awkward using it to me... happy you liked it though🤪 I agree that many of the cross-platform games looked better on the N64, and 100% agree that the 64 had better overall quality games than the PS1... the PS1 had some great games, but damn it had a lot of crap too!! The PS1 was more about quantity than quality; not saying there weren't quality games, but quantity seemed to be their priority, which did work out for them, so while I prefer quality, I can't argue with their results. If you like the PS3, check out my "Story of the PlayStation 3" video😁 Thanks for watching!!
zombie revenge
That's a game... and it's a game that I'm pretty sure I played, but I remember absolutely nothing about, lol🤪 I'll give it a go again though. Thanks for watching!!
The 64 was great , in fact 4 of my top 10 favorite games were on it ! Mario 64 , Wave Race , Rouge Squadron, and Ocarina in TIme ! But I had to admit when PlayStation came out it at that time ! was over ! Funny thing is on my top 10 favorite. There is no PlayStation one games but three N 64 games.! My top 3 games of all time are Nintendo games! Funny, how time changes Things ! Just shows the dominance of Nintendo!
While the N64 definitely had its short comings, and it's library was small in comparison to it's competition, you can't argue the quality of the games it did have. Just tons of bangers!! Thanks for watching!

Admittedly I haven't heard that on before, lol🤪 Thanks for watching!!
I really loved my Dream Cast , in fact whenever the hell I can get in my storage area, I’m gonna whip it out! 😂! “Excuse me why I whipped this out!! “ 😊 ! But in my early 20s, I had good money I bought every console 3do , turbo Duo ,, but never had a Sega console until, Dream Cast , and We played Dreamcast a lot., because of the games NFL 2K was great. We never cared about Madden , it killed Madden , shit NFl GamDay was better then madden , NFL 2K8 It’s still kills Madden ! Soul Caliber still one of the best fighting games it was the games that kept us playing Dreamcast! And then PS2 again the games that killed Dreamcast!! ! And I have to admit the DVD player was a big seller for me for PS2!! my 3DO had a DVD player, in fact, it came with a Batman cartoon, which was awesome!! I think that really hurt the Dreamcast the lack of playing DVDs! But I still think it’s a great console and I will get it out of storage someday!!
Agreed!! The DC is an awesome little box, but leaving out the DVD player sealed the deal for many. Also, I love my 3DO... gonna have to a video on that one day🤪 Extra credit for the Blazing Saddles quote, lol. Thanks for watching!!
That's substance. That's how it's spelled
My poor attempt at a joke, lol🤪 Thanks for watching!!
I had the original Xbox and enjoy the games on there since the system had better graphics to me.
Yes sir!! Every multiplatform title available at the time ran better and looked better on the OG Xbox... I just wish it had gotten a lot of the awesome Japanese exclusives that the PS2 did😁 Thanks for watching!!
I love the original Xbox and ps2 era.
It was a hell of a time to be a gamer, that we're probably not going to experience anything like again unfortunately. Thanks for watching!!
@@retrojakexy The original Xbox was my first console (got it when I was 7, now 27) but was unfortunately thrown away quite a few years ago and it still annoys me😩 But I regularly think about the console and games I could think play again and games I never got completed, which annoys me😅 But a few days ago, a refurbished Original Xbox Crystal Edition came up, with original packaging, 2 s controllers and everything. So have been thinking about it for a few days now. But is it worth $550? How much does an original Xbox cost in that condition at the moment?? I live in a small country, so I don't see the original for sale often
The Crystal OG Xbox inbox is worth $220 us according to pricecharting.com, so $550 (assuming us) seems a bit steep unless it's molded or has something else special going on. You can get a regular Xbox out of box with everything you need for under $70 US regularly on ebay😁 Hope all that helps; thanks for watching!!
@@retrojakexy Hello and thanks for the reply. Yes, I think $550 was quite expensive compared to the ones I see on eBay for example. But I can't find any in good condition in my country (Norway) So then I have to import from abroad, which is mostly the UK. But then shipping will be higher, there is import tax and the UK has a different power cable/power socket (We have the EU power socket and the UK has its own) So do you know if the original Xbox has multi-voltage or works well as long as I have the right power cable ? Thanks😊
