There is an old Fenrisian tradition called “pilsnervandring” (alternatively, "pilsnervandre") where a group (sometimes individuals, usually men,) go for a hike into the woods carrying beer (or other adult beverages), consume said beverages, and then hike back home. As part of the tradition, if someone on the walk home loses their footing and has to be carried home, they have to buy the drinks for the next pilsnervandre. It’s considered an odd tradition by outsiders who often have a laugh about how easy it is to get lost or injured while trying to find one’s way home while tipsy. And indeed, a number of Fenrisians do need to be rescued every year while participating in the tradition. It’s considered a manly activity, and a bit of a rite of passage for Fenrisian men after reaching adulthood. There have also occasionally been problem with litter, with signs having to be posted along hiking trails reminding people that while pilsnervandring is fun and a tradition, leaving bottles and cans in the woods is illegal and people caught littering will be fined.
