Переглядів 125 тис.2 роки тому
Howdy folks, The other day, I walked out to my sequoia to find the battery totally dead. Once I jumped it, I noticed the brake lights were not turning off with the key out of the ignition. I noticed those green bits under the steering wheel and sure enough, it just needed that little plastic clip and VUALA! FIXED! Just thought I would share this with you fellow 1ste gen Toyota Sequoia owners! B...

The overlanding aspect of it could definitely have been improved by airing down, so I am definitely looking into getting setup for quick air downs and easy refilling with onboard air :) If you enjoyed the short ...

Propane VS wood fire pits. Which is better? This may tip the scales. GENIOUS IDEA
Переглядів 2,6 тис.2 роки тому
I bought this propane fire pit on amazon for just over a hundred bucks and let me tell ya, it is amazing for those times you dont want to build a fire, or if there is a burn ban. So one cool camping morning, I wanted to warm up as I was making a pot of coffee, so I fired up the propane fire pit and then it hit me! I could make coffee (or anything) AND warm up around the fire pit! I thought this...

How To Install A 100 Series Land Cruiser Snorkel On Your 1st gen Toyota Sequoia. Budget Overlanding
I heard they fixed a lot of the problems for the '24 model year....
This is happens when companies make changes
I’m sticking with my 2020 for a few more years!
My only question is how well the suction cup holds up over time; has it fallen off yet? How well does it hold up in mud/rain/dirt?
I bought a new, factory lifted Tundra last Feb. absolutely loved the truck... the ride, the power, the towing, the engine. Out of fearing of it laying down on me at any inopportune moment, I traded it for a 2024 Power Wagon a few days ago.
Have a 2023 TRD PRO, 30K miles. No issues what so ever.
The fact anyone thinks anything mass produced won’t have issues is hilarious and shows their iq isn’t very high. Secondly Toyota is the most reliable vehicle sold period they proved they’re the only company with 80%+ of their vehicles sold in the last 20 years are still on the road proven via service records.
They just need to throw the V8 back into the Tundra, and the 4.0 V6 in the Tacoma 👍🏼
EPA says otherwise
I really liked this truck when I drove it. If Toyota does a proper fix on the engines (transmissions?), I may consider one. You are right, maybe they will be much more affordable if in a warranty repair state.
I have a sneaking suspition that build out is much heavier than 300 pounds.
To the point perfect very helpful
I bought a 2024 tundra, Omg. What a mistake
Great idea. Thanks for the helpful info.
I own a '24 Tundra Limited CrewMax. I love it.
We bought a 2024 Tundra. 4300 miles so far. No problems. No recalls, yet.
26,000 on my 24 Tundra, the only recall has been for the extra key
@ I still don’t have a second key.
@@mattdelany6799 I bought mine January 21 2024, my key gets programmed next week
Are these made in the USA?
Looks like all gadgets and no reliability you like. I find kinda strange as a long time Toyota guy. Personally I would not buy one.
By the time the 2025 one comes out, they will fix their issues. I’m interested, they will start selling them in Australia next yr I think
You save my day
Now, only if I could open my doors. The latest thing to fail is the ignition tumbler 😂😂😂
Never buy a new model of anything ... Even Toyota. This truck will be reliable after like 2028 or so ...
What is the part called because I need one I just put a piece of paper there till morning
That's why I'm leasing mine
I have a safety check appointment tomorrow and was panicking. A temporary fix of tape and a nickel did the job. 😂 Thank you so much!
Answering one of your questions regarding backing up to trailer or with the trailer. There's a button section on the left side knee high top right looks like a car with a star on it. Shut it off when using your trailer.
Let me get this straight Toyota is selling and ppl are buying a truck worth on average 60k plus knowing full well that the engine has a defect and the whole unit will be a replacement and let’s not forget all the other q and q issues , look I use to like Toyota bc of its reliability but u can count on both hands on how many issues tundra has had and still having since it’s debut in 2021 and its nearly 2025 and chit is still popping
Thanks You very much.I purchased two @ $5. ea.,followed as you suggested and problem solved.
Any spacers behind those wheels?
what gauge wire did you use.
Pfannerstill Mills
I would not touch this gen 3 until you see people getting 300 to 400,000 mile (REAL PROOF)
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
Toyota's USED to be reliable. I'm keeping my 2007 CM with 249,536 miles. Runs like a Swiss watch.
Where Can I Buy My Air Cleaner Aisin ??? Do you have any links or anything?
Great video review! What’s the fuel economy?
Bought a 2025 limited last week. I freaking love it runs great has lots of power after seeing this video im not sure whats gonna happen guess ill be waiting to hit the 25k miles see what happens. Its gives me 14 mpg in city and 19.2 on the interstate while my 2020 gave me 12 on the interstate and 9 in city Had a 2020 106k miles never had issues just swapped battery a couple months ago. Only reason why i traded it was due to my dogs trying to catch a cat insode the engine bay and ripped off the engine harness dealership said 8k for repair
What's the small rubber part called
More than a Like HOLY cow you rock was looking at fuses lines etc... saved me hours.
your video just poped up cause I was searching info for my next truck. Been looking at new tacoma ( own a 2022 now), new chevy colorado, f150 and now tundra. Pretty much every single model has people telling you dont buy it, it is a piece of junk, and comments below there is always story like: I know someone own this truck and its engine blow up at xxx kms lol so what we suppose to buy nowadays then? Only old used cars? I am just really confused now.
What’s the name of the green part
Thanks mate it helped
Reading comments is hilarious we all went through the same deal looking down at the floor mats lol Nissan rogue uses TAN plastic 😂
Your a life saver man!
Whats not to like getting a new engine after 25-50k miles? hit the lotto man.
This is ridiculous. How are you supposed to remove the plastic piece if you can't open the hatch? Not useful.
I have a 99 Camry found the pieces on the floorboard but they were brown. Someone left a comment they found them at a local auto parts store. The part is a brake pedal stop pad.
I hate you, my friend I hear ya right now. I own a tundra 2023 1794 believe me I understand your frustration. My truck didn’t give me a lot of problems but a lot of recalls and a bunch of stupid little things so yeah I understand what you’re saying it’s very disappointing. I’ll say that, this is my fifth Tundra. I never had issue with the old model ever.🙈🙈🙈😱😱😱👈🏻
Toyota Tundra are no longer made in Japan. That’s why the quality is nonexistent.
Thank You!!! I couldn't figure out what was wrong...battery and starter motor I knew were good.
I'm happy with Tundra. One of the best cars I ever had. Dude, you are exaggerating based on a few extreme examples.
Do you not see all over auto news where they recalled over 100,000 Tundras for complete engine overhauls? Lol?!
