Is it a cheap one? The first one I bought was a cheap morchang and it was very disappointing. The reed was too stiff. Then I bought a Glazyrin. They are VERY expensive, but damn, you really pay for the sound. Trust me, they’re expensive but really rewarding.

Yes, you need a fancy little special cable for this. Can’t remember what it’s called ATM. They do quirky audio gadgets of all sorts.

Hey dear, I am right here! Have been extremely busy with work, business, and all kinds of projects. 3 little videos recorded but not even uploaded yet. I’m considering where to take the channel because it was growing too slow with my previous approach, meaning the content is not that engaging/interesting/valuable. On MS yes, it can be both. Then just unload the sample. On Digi, it is either audio or MIDI

T6 on Digi? This is an audio track. You can just mute it in Mute mode or turn its volume down or even turn it down in the mixer

Of course, one will feel more natural than the other. But I am convinced it a matter of practice. Like, some snooker plates are equally good with both. Admittedly I don’t hold it in my left a lot tho.

@@SnaptoGrid but this is the only one i watched that actually mentioned it, since i am left handed, it felt more natural to hold it in my right hand (and thus play it with left), however it seems easier to hold it in my left hand.

Of course. That’s because that side is wired for it. But I am confident it’s possible to get just as good with the other. Just look at Ronnie O’Sullivan for example.

It does matter in that an individual may feel more comfortable with holding it a certain way, but it's totally possible to learn how to hold it in either hand.

Soma has some nice one. But I just looked up techno sample packs. Might give a detailed rundown at some point. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, gloves are mandatory to make nice techno. But they must be fingerless so that you can feel the knobs properly. 😂

Yes, it’s not a sampler. So you need to use Elektron Transfer to send sounds over. There is also a mobile third party app tho for that. Elektron sells some nice packs especially for if, or otherwise you can create folders etc in the device.

I’ll add that it’s actually extremely flexible, although not quite as deep as it’s bigger brothers ofc.

It’s not designed for that. Rather pick a deeper harp. But with a bit of engineering I am sure it’s possible. For example a two piece system with threading on a thin axle that sits tightly inside the loop in the trigger.

Yes, it will. And yes, all with all the other tracks, the knobs respond accordingly. Yea, you have to manually MIDI map then to your iOS instrument on which ever channel is controlling said instrument.

Hi thanks for the video Have you purchased any other glazyrins since?if so do you prefer any over the alpha?

With Apple Camera Connection kit, using the Elektron USB lead. Then, enable a MIDI channel and go from there. Also, the Digi will need to be in audio/midi mode, not in Overbridge mode.
