The EXPERIENCE of taking a ride with a BERGEHETZER
A good video, but far less quality original WW2 stuff found in Car Boots or Flea Markets these days, certainly in the UK. Too many people realise the values from TV antiques and collector shows, plus the UK & Europe is flooded with fakes now.
amazing moustache my guy
@@tovishlish thanks man!
Yay, I’m so happy to see you. Are you gonna post more?
On german television they once showed an old report from 1950 about tourism to the Berghof. You could see that there was even a small stall where they sold these postcards, beer and other things.People then sat by the ruins eating something, taking a piece of the Berghof ruins as a souvenir and having a good time. And these souvenir sellers were able to make a good living from tourism after the war.Back then, people didn't see it so critically. And i think old grenade shells are nice. But very expensive if you want to complete them with the deactivated parts today.I will not pay 200 euro or more for the rusty top part of a 8,8cm Flak shell.Even for the case that i could buy it.
I'm more of a dog person but I do like big cats
6 are running & driving condition , 17 intact but not driving & 12 used as static displays/wrecks. Wiki info.
Visited a week ago ❤❤❤ my fav girl spot ❤😘
Question where am i able to buy one? (For no reason)
in my next weeks backyard sale (i wish)
looks like you have good flea markets over there, in Germany its mostly developing towards more of a Clothing market.
The italian helmet has a postwar liner, postwar british style chinstrap, postwar rivets and postwar paint job (not graygreen, grigioverde, as it should). Most 33s were routinely refitted postwar at intervals, only shells are original ww2. Finding one with its prewar liner, rivets, leather chnstrap and paintjob intact is very difficult. A NATO era 33 can be bought for a pittance in Italy
And for a horrific price of 90 euros. My experience buying militaria from flea markets in western Europe have always been people having a lot of stuff and no idea what it's worth, but they think it's worth a lot and ask a lot for it.
Brulli popping off 30k views sheeeeeeesh!!!!

killer moustache as usual
I reguarly go to my local flea market in the states and my favorite find is a ww2 post card hand written in 1942 from northfolk Virginia i payed a dollar for it and i can assure you its not a replica
cool
I go to Tongeren almost every summer. It's wayy more busy then what i see in the video's now. But what you get is way more repro stuff being sold as genuine. fell for it twice as a young kid. Now i have way more knowledge and manage to find some cheap genuine stuff there as long as you keep a keen eye.
Lol
6:29 LENIN
Me and my cousin love “Peace Pigeon” memorabilia we would have a hay day over there. Love the video.
@@RustyMex thanks!!
Hi there, loved the vid! Just a quick tip, to stop the rust falling of your relics you need to cover them with cooked linceed oil. It helps alot and one last thing once you used a towel to dry the relic dont just leave it wrapped, better soak it with water otherwise it could catch on fire. If you need a tutorial history secrets has a video where he cleans his helmets en preserves them from the 48 helmet dumphole
Alles geklaut
Ja ok
*Such a relaxing video to watch, going through history with some of the most beautiful militaria items on these flea-markets. :D*
Nice Kaiser Wilhelm mustache.
@@armorer94 haha! thanks
I found one of the limited edition bf-109 prints signed by Adolf Galland in a thrift store in Marietta, Georgia for $20 last year. The bad thing is that when I took the price sticker off of it, I could see they had it priced even lower the week before!
Please make more flea market rounds. ❤
@@survivaltime8780 i will!!!
@therealbrulldozer perfect...best greetings from germany💪

Great video. There is a lot to be found out there. And plenty of fakes too. Know your stuff and you can score. MB.
@@MudBagger406406406 Thanks man! Yesss plenty of fakes! so be careful! but indeed, also plenty of great business to do if you know your stuff ;-)

How do you handle the UV lighting from the sun? Is it just your extra room for the collection and do you close the blinds?
My mother spent some time welding 'jerry cans' during the war but not these early ones.
@@mikeclayton6273 Thats cool!
Not a British helmet, it is Belgian.
Nice collection there!
Like a bad toupee a great amount of people aren't even hearing a word you're saying because of that mustache. As soon as you came on the screen I couldn't pay attention to what you were saying. I just kept thinking the ends are going to poke back into your nose..😗

I wouldn't want that Lennon in my building. ,

@therealbrulldozer it would be great for target practice.
Thank you! Nice and relaxed video!
@@Janne-fw7gj thanks man!
As a tip for you, Royal Tiger Imports in Florida, USA, has original German WW2 leather ammunition pouches, rifle cleaning rods and rifle front sight hoods for sale. These are from a large quantity of German World War II equipment that the East German Government gave or sold to Ethiopia. It has now been bought from the Ethiopian government by Royal Tiger Imports and shipped to the US. There are also Lugers and KAR98’s but of course you can’t buy one for shipment to Belgium.
@@bobjohnston8316 Thanks for sharing this!! very nice!
По моему,подбородочник итальянского шлема М 33 р послевоенный.Как думаете?
yesss i realised when editting the vid. its certainly postwar!!
Somehow i acquired a German “frozen meat” medal and a German infantry assault medal. I was given to understand these are the real deal not replicas.🤔
@@carausiuscaesar5672 cool!
@ 🤔Reflecting on this my now deceased brother in law had an uncle who was a British Commando in World War Two. Supposedly these two medals came off the body of a dead German soldier. My brother in law had no interest in these items so they were passed on to me by his wife, my now deceased sister. I wish now i had made more inquiries about them. I have them now in my World War Two display and i am respectful of them.
Is it legal to own a bayonet in the uk if you are a civilian?🤔
@@carausiuscaesar5672 pretty sure u can find the laws about that online. however this is in belgium, where yes you can own it
The Italian M33 is a post war version
@@MsMarcow i also saw after i editted. chinstrap and liner are diffrent indeed
That market is wayyyy over its top, since the 2000's prices went skyhigh, its a antiqmarket not a fleamarket, proffesional vendors everyweek the whole year round, the glorydays of this market are 30, 40 years ago, everybody knows that, the Euro and the internet wrecked all markets, imo this market is not worth visiting anymore and hasnt been for decades.
I somewhat agree, however, it is not 100% antiques for sale there, I have seen on peak days stuff that was made yesterday being sold as well, and lots of it.
I so want to go here!
Dont, you be dissapointed.
How come there are Hindenburg coins with and without a swastika. Is that from before and after 1934 or is it from another minter?
Before 1934 there was just an eagle and a church on German coins (Two small swastikas on the same side as the eagle were added in 1934). From 1935 to 1936, coins with Paul von Hindenburg and an eagle (without a swastika) were manufactured. In 1936, all manufacturing sites started to produce coins portrayingPaul von Hindenburg on the one side and an eagle sitting on a swastika on the other one.
