Not exactly Dan Infalt but hoping to post a lot of informative hunting related videos mostly gear updates and gear mods that maybe someone else can find useful to help them along the way like Dan and so many others posting here have done for me.

Save Money on Expensive Arrow Saws Cheaper Way to Cut Arrows
How would compare the aerohead sport with the alpha agility now that you’ve had them for a while?
@jordanmiller904 was gonna do a review on that soon lol the agility snake boot is amazing very comfortable but the arrowhead sport is more comfortable however not an actual snake boot but both are amazing boots but aerohead sport edges it out on comfort though. The snake boot is slightly stiffer is the reason it's not quite as comfortable but still a great boot I wore the snake boots all early season loved them
@ sounds good. Durability wise is there a difference? Have the alpha agility but the front fabric started ripping and the gussets aren’t holding together. Thought about sending them back for the aeroheads
@jordanmiller904 I haven't had any issues out of durability with either of mine alpha are 2 seasons on them and aerohead just this season though
So its not a flood beam
@@PolarBearXx it's more of a flood than a spot light. Lasts a long time on the red light but the white light on it kills the battery really fast. Honestly it killed it so fast I just ran my swisstech headlamp all season and only used the coast when I got to the tree on the red light function and I keep it turned as dim as it will go. The Swisstech is a much better longer lasting light I just wish it had a red light like the coast. I thought with the coast not zooming in to a spot light it would last a while but mine hasn't at all that white light just eats up the battery.
@chickamaugabowhunter2067 damni tore the box trying to open it and literally just bought it i have the receipt
@@PolarBearXx for the 30 dollar price range I'd look at the swisstech one with the purple blood tracking light. It's way brighter and you can zoom it in to a spot or out to flood and it lasts way longer. Just my opinion. Only reason I bought the coast is bc a couple of the purple blood tracking LED lights went out on my swisstech but other than that it's still perfect after 2 seasons. The coast just doesn't last near as long either battery wise. Just my 2 cents lol. It's a little heavier but better built I think. I never even use the brightest setting on the swisstech either the dimmer setting is ridiculously bright
Nice season!
So I’m guessing 6 with single step aiders is to much 😂
@@blakeacker290 depends how high you want to get lmao could just find a cell tower to hunt from 😂
How did you get the bungees through?
@@justinahaus2883 so I twisted and fought them till they went another guy said on another video of mine to run fishing line through and tie it to the bungee and pull it through that way though said it's way easier than fighting them like I did
That makes a lot of sense I’m give it a shot! I’ve been fighting it with a nail and thin screw driver. Thanks brother!
@@justinahaus2883 no problem
Good idea! Thanks for sharing
@@Bduboutdoors yes sir good luck this season or what's left of it 😂
What’s your knee pad made of. Way better than wearing knee pads
@@yakventures9544 it's a pad that you sit on in a ladder stand lol bought it at Walmart for like 5 or 10 bucks
www.walmart.com/ip/Predator-XT-by-ThermaSeat-Hunting-Outdoor-Cushion/51057452
Good job bro. I'd be frustrated too with my camera
@@EastTnCarbonSlinger yea I didn't even try to use it this morning lol
Try a painted arrow mag pro for your bow.
@@3rdlovearchery my phone sucks probably wouldn't do me any good lol
@@3rdlovearchery thinking about trying the Enduro batteries for gopro suppose to be better in cold weather but until I get them that thing is useless in this cold I was so mad when I saw I couldn't even use any of the footage bc it was a close shot would have been good.
Did you figure the problem with the other broad heads?
Awsome video buddy, sucks about the SD card but good luck on Your buck hunt.
Yea those gopros have really good video for what they are but every time it's around freezing or below they act up won't turn on at all or record 10 seconds and turn off or something like this time it was SD card sucks lol I need another gopro style that does good in cold
Got them today. They were comfortable in the store, good support. I know it says waterproof, but i still wouldnt wade across a creek in them without waders. Excited to try them actually hiking. On sale for 100, the cold toes are what im fighting too. GL
@XsoloXela1989 wore mine yesterday hunting for first time it was 35 degrees and wind chill made it feel like 20s on the mtn and I sat from 6am to 11 and my feet stayed comfortable got cool but not cold. Any other boot my feet would've been throbbing after a couple hrs of that so I'm impressed so far.
Nice!
First time seeing your channel, nice work! Are you from Chickamauga GA?
@@Dan_Akins yes sir
I’ve had mine for 2 years word awesome
I still use mine bc battery on it last a long time but the purple light on mine quit working after first season which sucks.
Nice, heck yea. Great video bro and good job James on the kill.
Hey brother, i got my first deer on Saturday. Small doe, but the hardest one out of they way. Looking forward to what you bag during the rut man
@@mgodbee yea sir congratulations got the monkey off your back now rest is all smooth sailing from here lol. I got some plans for a couple bonus rifle hunts but outside of that I've burnt my 2 buck tags but hopefully get another one at least on these bonus hunts lol. Kinda wish I hadn't shot that smaller buck opening weekend but never shot a velvet buck and I got a hair too excited 😂. Good luck rest of this season man hope you get on a monster.
I just got this, couldn’t figure out where to charge the batteries. Thanks
@@jimtx7995 just make sure you put it back in right don't screw up like me and bend that little half moon looking tab on the positive side of the battery lol.
Thank you for this honest review. My deer I got broke the arrow in half and that is a bummer for sure. I also agree on the amount of blood not being what I expected. Overall, I have found shwackers do kill well. Fly very well. Relatively cheap. Nice video.
@@gregdorey3394 yea this is my 3rd season with them and I have no complaints really usually don't have to track too far
Thanks for getting back to me. I use an 8mm rope on my XOP X2 sticks and like that. They are quick and quiet. Have not seen any videos on using it on the platform.
@tonypeschong6107 yes sir it will definitely work you just have to make sure you use a big enough rope for it to bite or shave the button down like I did on my sticks. I got several videos on there on how I did that also if what I'm saying isnt making sense lol. Good luck this season and if you need anything else just holler I'll do my best to answer.
Have you ever used this method to hang your platform?
@@tonypeschong6107 I did but the tetherd platform the space between the button and the post was too wide for the rope I was using and it would loosen up after a while on the platform. If you were using the right size rope it would work fine I think mine was just too small of a diameter for the platform I was running and there is no way to change the spacing bc it's all cast aluminum
@@tonypeschong6107 it worked fine on my sticks bc I shaved the button down and made the spacing smaller so the smaller diameter rope worked fine
Looks like a caping knife. Basic shape of anyway
That's gonna be a great spot during the rut.
@@teamsmallpinepubliclandhun2652 lol yea and that's not even half as good looking as the spot I was originally trying to get to 😂
Thanks bro. Good job.
How did you get the 550 paracord through the holes on your sticks???? I’m struggling BAD!!!!
@@tylerelkins9619 mine may be smaller than 550 but try this take some fishing line run it through the hole tie it to the paracord and see if you can pull it through that way
@@tylerelkins9619 had a guy do the same thing with the aider Containment bungee i did a video on said it was much easier that way
@@chickamaugabowhunter2067 I will definitely try that appreciate it!!!
@@tylerelkins9619 if that doesn't work try melting the end of the cord with a lighter to make it hard may help or size down the paracord one size
Try some blue painters tape, half on the cord and twist the other half into a pull. Grab that and pull it through, same as I would do with trying to fish a wire through a hole. Might help.
Brother. It’s a hip
😂
seen dogs bigger than this lol waste of a life, almost the size of my Maine coon cat
How about not spot burning don’t tell where your at
@@Mountainhunter-zi5yl brother that place is entirely too big and ain't nobody coming to wipe out all them deer 😂
Big boy! That's a niiice deer. Good video. I like how even with buck fever in full swing, you're still nocking another one, great job.
@@DaLions_Den yea my wife said why did you get another arrow lol I said never know when I might need it 😂
@@chickamaugabowhunter2067 🤣 Facts! If there was a textbook, that should be in a textbook.
Nice video and awesome deer! How long was that lonesome drag 😂
@@Tmpr111 started dragging around 10:30 or 11 got to the truck about 1:30
The pressure is OFF . . congratulations!!!
Thanks
Man that was epic. Love the long video. Was definitely a good watch. Congrats on the buck bro, i told you you had him. Thats awsome bro. Crazy no blood though.
@@EastTnCarbonSlinger dude I never found a single drop except for where he was laying and about 4ft trail coming to it
@chickamaugabowhunter2067 so crazy. But thay heart shot though... smoked him bro!!!
@@EastTnCarbonSlinger swhacker man
@@chickamaugabowhunter2067 I'm buying a pack today after work and gonna site my bow in with em.
@@EastTnCarbonSlinger lol it's easy where your field points hit is where they will hit lmao. Some of the packs come with a red practice head but some of the newer packs don't bc they give you a hard plastic carrying case for them now so just look for that but they will 100 percent hit where your field tips hit mine do
Awesome mountain buck! See you up there some time!
Thanks
That's a good hunt right there. I like the angles on that camera man, that's cool. Seems like a great little spot. I saw a yearling, her mom and a baby with out the spots a couple days ago. I didn't shoot just because the mom wanted to take one for the team. They stampeded past me and she stopped 10 yards away while the younger ones ran. I just respected that and she caming back blowing letting the whole woods know haha maybe I should've took her.
Awsome video. Really dug the opening intro with the overhead view. Very cool. Gave me a good watch in a tree today while I was hunting. Congrats on the deer. Meat in the freezer
@EastTnCarbonSlinger I'm still learning what this camera will do and won't do lol tricky it's really good for some things apparently and not others or I just ain't figured out the editing tricks yet 😂
Bud you got some great mods. I just subbed to you. I watched the video where you rope modes the platform. I also braid a steel, just finished it up tonight works awesome. Also I run the tethrd one sticks. I use an aider and did the same bungee mod for the aider SWEET. where are you located? You need to check out DRYAD HAMMAOCK SADDLE. Most comfortable saddle out there. Thanks for the mods keep up the great videos.
@@bdrroger thanks buddy I'm in north GA. Glad those videos helped you and thanks for the feedback. Haven't tried the dryad but seen videos on it seems interesting for sure. Good luck this season.
