Had same thing. But end of hose was completely dangling free. Truck threw same code right after shop did some other work on the truck. Would not be surprised if they just yanked it loose for "sustained customer relations"

You just saved me a lot of headache, I’m not very good at noticing things unless it’s pointed out to me and I was wondering why my tundra was having evap issues, sure enough my hoses were just laying there disconnected from the intake and the evap canister, will be gettin clamps tonight to address this issue, again thanks a BUNCH!

01 tundra 4.7 ~ got this code today, checked and it’s that exact same hose. I saw another video, guy replaced all these hoses because they are cracked and falling off, don’t need the clamp when u get the new ones it appears, just worn out after 250k miles.

If i need to replace the same hose, is it a vacuum hose or fuel hose?

Did fixing that hose cause the check engine light to go out by itself?

I might add that this will only work if you've already planed your board an it's completely flat. Otherwise you're going to route grooves in the high spots.

2002 Tundra SR5 had the exact issue. Thank You I noticed the plastic clip that supports that hose is broken on my Tundra. So I suspect it shook off.

does replacing the screen usually solves the annoying vertical lines issue ? or is the issue in the cable ? when i touch the bottom bezel the lines change a bit.

I have a 2000 tundra and I had a torn hose on the charcoal deposit box, replaced it and the opposite side of the loose one everyone is talking about…. My my check engine light is still on.?? Any suggestions?? Thanks

I have the same code. The hose to the canister was loose and worn out. I was for make sure it’s the hose before I purchased a new one. I wrapped the end with tape. I erased the code but some how I can’t get the code to be ready for inspection. I drove like over 100 miles already.

This vid was found through a search on the code and.... voila! Identical issue with a 2000 Tundra 4.7. Saw the hose hanging in the air and knew exactly what to do. Super helpful, thanks!

Thank you, this was very helpful! That hose was lose on both ends on my 2002 Tundra. I added two hose clamps and the computer stopped throwing code P0441.

Here in 2021 and this gentleman and scholar saved me a trip to the mechanic, thank you from the future and the past.

did this have any significant effect on the sharpness of your router bit? i've never worked with epoxy before, is a scraper a special tool for expoxy or just kinda like a light planer?

Needs fresh hose when they do that, vac lines are usually never clamped and I replace mine with life time silicone vac hose, no clamps as well

Thank you! I had the exact same issue right after emissions testing. Your video was my exact issue. Corrected and passed with my 2000 tundra. I did not have check engine light on before going into emissions, but failed with check engine light on. Your video was exactly my issue. Did it fall off exactly when I arrived at emissions???
