Basement Room Wall Prep & Carpet Removal | Remodel Part 1
Just wanted to add i made one like 3 years ago and like 1 year into owning it i covered it in polymat for subwoofer boxes made it look way nicer
its good but why not the gearbox a bit down like in a real car
Whats the length of the build?
what kind of 2x8
Can I have like a blueprint
Can this be done using car ramps?
SDOP\
I wish bro slowed down on how to attach the seat to the base I’m tryna learn how to do mine it’s unattached good video thou 👊🏽
Thanks for posting, what a great video
Why put the shifter next to the wheel I never get that ?
There's already a place to attach it and it's quick and easy to reach. Depending on the track in sim racing, you have to change gears many times per lap. I built a similar rig (with parts of a chair instead of a car seat) and need a place for the shifter. Next to the seat is too far away so I'll probably add a small table to the vertical plank.
Can you make a video on the electrical components and circuitry wiring.m7ch appreciated
Just awesome the way u guys designed such an agronomic piece of equipment with a lot of comfort
I know this is really late lol but how were the pedals mounted, super glue or luck with drilling M6 bolt locations
definitely need to drill, only way to not have it move around. Super glue is not strong enough. You could maybe get away with mounting it using velcro but I would just use the mounting holes.
@@lana_monich i think i solved the problem think a sheet of paper over the mount holes and punch through perfect to locate for mounting
Gotcha, nice job
can i get measurements? thanks!!
Is this solid wood or Plywood? Will this hold a small DD wheel like CSL DD?
Still you need an already made chair.
i should have posted a video of my build. . .
Porque no muestran las medidas?
you're amazing bruh. just followed your steps and works out great!!. thanks so much
Can you pls tell me the measurements?
very good idea i will make this\
how did you bolt down the pedals tho? and how is it holding up
It looks like the pedals are mounted on a wooden plate that's slightly bigger than the pedal unit and that's bolted to the angled wood parts.
update to your diy racing sim cockpit ?
ua-cam.com/video/nxkSppvD0hE/v-deo.html A good job guys nice to see a couple working together... You need to hang on to her! Above is my hyperlap narration of a rig I'd built it's a lot longer than yours but it's entertaining you should enjoy it you and your folks.
Great job!
@JETPLANEJONESGAMING
@jetplanejonesgaming
This wonderful thing deserves a real steering wheel, at least t300, and better DD. Not logitec.
😂😂 i love when geeks down logitech as if they didn't only spend $500 or $600 more like their really in another tax bracket 😂😂 stfu dude
@@jwmitch27 Does the trustmaster t300 cost significantly more? But at the same time, it is an order of magnitude better, and the logitech cannot even be called a steering wheel. For such a good cockpit, an appropriate steering wheel is needed, otherwise there is no sense in the cockpit
Unfortunately Logitech make the best DD in the world ( Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel) 😂😂😂
@@drewlegend5639 it's a pity that garbage was put on the cockpit here, and not DD
😎👏👏👏
I would do some type of channel to hide all the wires
how can you be cold when working so fast
This is so good!
Jaguar seat?
very good, ua-cam.com/video/qJ8Zz_KnTQk/v-deo.html
How worth is this, I bought an 07 Mazda 6i 2.3L without really thinking what I could do to mod it and I don't see many options :/
These engines don’t have much potential for gains They are pretty much maxed out from the factory tune Cool induction Sound is the only improvement you are going to get from this
Show it being used and adjustments after. Sheesh 🙄

very nice 😀😀😀

what location are you using to jack the whole rear up at once like that
Right in the middle of the rear axle beam. It's a bit sketchy to use as a jack point, you do have to be careful and use a large enough jack that is able to fit the whole beam on it (because of the shape)
buenas tardes amigo podrias mandar las medidas xfa
awesome
I have the v6 and when I put it in the car would not start is there a way to fix that?
Maf is backwards
is there a plan for this somewhere
Honestly, I just measured the distance from the seat brackets to the pedals, and the height of the steering wheel. We made a lot of adjustments along the way to make it comfortable. If you want I can send over the measurements I ended up using.
@@lana_monich I honeslty wouldn't mind if you can. Trying to build something similar for myself so just an estimation would be good.
How sturdy is the wheel mount? Does it sway back and forth?
From the fact it’s 6x2 the whole way round with multiple long screws, absolutely not. I can tell you that from here.
how did u mount ur seat
Moin, you made a fine RIG there I'm more of a hobby at ACC at the Series X and just looked at what material had accumulated over the years. I built my RIG completely out of wood and this is what it looks like now. It only has to be filled and then painted black with orange accents. However, it has become quite massive (1.72 mx 1.20 m). I built in the Gamechair as only I am allowed to sit in it. So he didn't have to go on any rails. Unfortunately, the options on the XBox are very limited. I took the 3 vibrators + control from an old massage mat, screwed 2 of them into the seat and the third to the pedals. Connected via the subwoofer of the Gamechair. Not as optimal as on a PC, but the result is astonishingly good. Engine vibrations, curbs or gear changes are simulated well. I can proudly say that I have made something fantastic for me out of "junk in the basement". Except for a few corners, I had everything lying around. I think it's great when someone thinks about it and builds something for themselves. Anyone can buy ... 😄 Definitely a nice video of you with a great result. Here is a very short video of my RIG in its current state. ua-cam.com/video/BuATCe7t4Xs/v-deo.html
Hey if you don’t mind me asking, are you using direct drive wheel base or a normal one? I’m thinking about doing this but I am not sure if wood would be strong enough.
@@thomasmuston105 I drive with a normal G920, bur wood is strong enough
Will this stop my car from skipping left or right while traveling over bumps in road like manhole covers for example?
It doesn't totally fix it, but it does help
Sure beat a shovel.
one word, PERFECT
