    Can you comment on the true color of Phobos and Deimos? I'm guessing this image is quite over-saturated. There's a super recent image of Phobos with Mars in the background (search "Phobos over Mars - ESA Mars Express") that makes me think these moons would appear quite grey to the human eye.

      No, you would not be able to see anything like this with just your eyes. A camera can be left open for a much longer period of time and will pick up far more detail than the eye could ever see. Your eye only collects light for a fraction of a second at a time. A camera can use longer exposures (and multiple exposures) to collect light for minutes or even hours, reveling things invisible to the naked eye.

    Explanation: Ringed ice giant Neptune lies near the center of this sharp near-infrared image from the James Webb Space Telescope. The dim and distant world is the farthest planet from the Sun, about 30 times farther away than planet Earth. But in the stunning Webb view, the planet's dark and ghostly appearance is due to atmospheric methane that absorbs infrared light. High altitude clouds that reach above most of Neptune's absorbing methane easily stand out in the image though. Coated with frozen nitrogen, *Neptune's largest moon Triton* is brighter than Neptune in reflected sunlight, seen at the upper left sporting the Webb telescope's characteristic diffraction spikes. Including *_Triton,_* seven of Neptune's 14 known moons can be identified in the field of view. Neptune's faint rings are striking in this space-based planetary portrait. Details of the complex ring system are seen here for the first time since Neptune was visited by the Voyager 2 spacecraft in August 1989.

    The timing [Stonehenge] coincides with The Burckle Crater Mega Tsunami 5.2ka. most likely caused by The Taurid Meteor Stream, along with The Younger Dryas Impacts Theory / Fact 12.9ka. Stonehenge is the Ancient Calendar of the Ancient New Year when crossing the nighttime Taurids, same as what is clearly displayed at Gobekli Tepe. People would gather there for The Five Days of Doom, represented by the five central trilithons, added to the 360 day year, also known as the Days Without Name, Unlucky Days, and The Birthdays of the Gods, etc. It is all about The Sky Serpent (comet and superbolide) from The Pleiades, the radiant of said stream, which is symbolically shown in Avebury with the iconic daylight comet across (behind) The Sun. In The Old World they would sacrifice the Bull as in The Taurus Constellation, very similar to Thor, with his meteoric flying hammer, fishing for The World Encompassing Serpent with a Bull's head. It blows me away that others do not know what I am talking about, as if doctorates, especially Archaeologists - The Story of Mankind, have not read their homework at all. There are at least five corroborations that The Tas Tepeler Culture venerated this radiant, the best being The Seven Birds in a Row under Pillar 18 and the grave with two Auroch scapula placed over it, as Isis and Nefertari each hold a shoulder blade of The Apis Bull at The Pleiades. It was the same in isolated Mesoamerica, at the same moment, sacrificing humans to The Feathered Serpent, from the same star cluster, so it will not take away The Sun for long periods of time (impact winter) once again. Our children still carry on the exact same tradition, at the exact same time, going around asking strangers if it will be a bad or good outcome when crossing The Halloween Fireballs - The Taurids! [Also, half of the bones in Gobekli Tepe were Auroch, with only one skull, plus recently another grave was found with the head of a Bull placed over it.]

      @@adamhayek7889 The Taurid Meteor Stream is deeply ingrained into universal comparative mythology, the Greeks say it is where The First Fire from Heaven came from and the throne of god, The Thunderbird and The Rainbow Serpent are from that star cluster, also the warrior brother of the Japanese Sun Goddess that killed her horse and she fled into a mountain, I can go on. I see your name is Adam, the cherub with comet swords kept you expelled and in The Talmud The Pleiades are instrumental in the Deluge.

      I couldn't find anything about the 5 days of doom, the days without name etc What do these concepts suggest? If 360 days are accounted for in the Stonehenge, why would 5 be considered nameless? I think a lot more people than archeologists haven't done their homework, thanks for your contributions to the movement

    • @bardmadsen6956
      @bardmadsen6956 Місяць тому

      @@christopherclassen6624 Well, it is worldwide, maybe your searching in the criminal expungement texts of the Archaeologists. "Among the Greeks and Romans the five intercalation days at the end of the 360 day year were called Stained or Polluted by Death, which is precisely the same name by which they were known among the Yucatan Indians. They were also known among the former as Unlucky Days. This name was clearly connected with the Dead, as it was applied to the Sceleratae Portae of Rome, through which funerals passed. Don Juan Pio Perez of Yucatan, speaking of the Yucatan calendar, says "Five Supplementary Days were Added at the End of each Year, which made part of no month, and which for that reason they called 'days without names.'" "They called them also Wayab, or Uayab Jaab. The word Uayab may be derived from Uay, which means to be Destroyed, Wounded, Corroded by the Caustic Juice of plants, or with Lye and other Strong Liquids." If this was the real meaning of the name, these days that were "Stained" by Death. Also, in India, the Festival evidently fell on the days called Dagda or Burned." - New Materials for the History of Man, by Robert Grant Haliburton, 1863 (Derived from a Comparison of the Calendars & Festivals of Nations). Try "five epagomenal days".

    Explanation: A visitor to the inner solar system every 70 years or so Comet 13P/Olbers reached its most recent perihelion, or closest approach to the Sun, on June 30 2024. Now on a return voyage to the distant Oort cloud the Halley-type comet is recorded here sweeping through northern summer night skies over historic Kunetice Castle, Czech Republic. Along with a broad dust tail, and brighter coma, this comet's long ion tail buffeted by storms and winds from the Sun, is revealed in the composite of tracked exposures for comet and sky, and fixed exposures for foreground landscape recorded on July 28. The comet is about 16 light-minutes beyond the castle and seen against faint background stars below the northern constellation Ursa Major. The hilltop castle dates to the 15th century, while Heinrich Olbers discovered the comet in 1815. Captured here low in northwestern skies just after sunset Comet Olbers, for now, offers skywatchers on planet Earth rewarding telescopic and binocular views. Comet 13P/Olbers next perihelion passage will be in 2094.

    I live in central Florida and last night was the clearest night I have seen in a while, the rain washed the sky pretty good, and I counted 56 stars. That's all I could see because of the light pollution from the half dozen cities around me. 35 years ago, I lived in Tampa and I could count 12 stars! 35 years ago! I doubt anybody under 20, in Tampa, has actually seen a star! It's kind of sad that all our social and technological progress and great wealth ha cost us the Stars. We can see the Universe from James Web and Hubble on our TVs and Computers, but not from our population centers. I wonder if this will ever change?
