The combo should still work man. Keep in mind some combos in this video are meant as a creative demonstration instead of a practical one... the 3B tech trap in this combo may not work against all ukemi and it even may depend on your angle to the wall.

Make sure the opponent is soul charged and it should work fine. 44BB gives you an additional stun when the opponent is soul charged.

I am an experienced player and have used this strategy against other experienced players. It works if you use it in the right places. Groh is not a pressure character in the sense that Talim and Taki are pressure characters. He is an all-rounder who leans towards offense. You have to play him differently depending on the matchup.

@@K.Lee0926 I think it's probably because this character is rather boring compared to others. his moves on hit and block is so stable. and the game revolves around collecting signs, meter management, spacing and agi traps. for most part...his game is boring at the beginning but gets more interesting in later rounds when he's got more signs and meter to play with

I made this video mostly for intermediate to high level competitive players, so I'm sorry if it's hard to understand. Competitive players use SoulCalibur notation to discuss the game. It's pretty easy to learn though, so I recommend you understand it if you're wanting to get better! This is harder to understand, but it's used in every fighting game, not just SoulCalibur. If you're looking to get better, it's definitely something you should try to understand.

The A+B was used just to get the training mode bot to go to its second command: Action 1 guard all, Action 2 step back. Axii is pretty hard to land and usually it's not actually worth it. Main times I'd use it is if the opponent just really wanted to stay away from me and they were mashing backstep. Also, those 5 sign combos were more for fun; they're not very practical and actually they're probably very suboptimal.

@@Solioxrz362 oh I don't care about optimal at all, I'm all for style points. I was just curious if you had any tips for mind-gaming a person to walk away.

@@alecfischer3538 As Geralt, honestly I don't have anything for that. Geralt's offense is a bit weak so there's not much incentive for the opponent to avoid being close. You just gotta have an opponent who wants to stay away from you (which lots of people play like this so it's possible).

You will build back the meter from using Quen by getting Quen B LH, so it's possible to do this in a real match. Additionally, you can still get Quen B LH by triggering Quen through attacks, which costs no meter.

@@Solioxrz362 Ah, I didn't think about meter gain. I feel like free Quen is too risky in real play so I was thinking around that.

TBH I can't remember anything from the game that long ago, but glad you're back in the scene! It's a much different game after all the updates, feel free to hmu for some more games if you want.

This is my goal when I make a video. I keep it as short as possible while still giving you all the best information I have. Everyone's time is valuable so I try not to waste any! Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm sad about it, but I originally fell in love with The Last of Us because of the main story, so I'm still very excited about Part II! Also, I hear they wanted to turn factions into its own project, so maybe we will get this multiplayer back in the future with a lot of extra love given to it.
