Nice video .. but the way that you mark out the positioning for the turnbutton is very time consuming in my opinion. I found that I could fit the turnbutton to the fabric and hold the position and tension with one hand and give the turnbutton a sharp tap with a hammer. This leaves an imprint of the turnbutton on the timber which allows the screw holes to be clearly seen. I didn't bother with the pilot holes either.

you say it has an inside and outside, is the difference texture only? Or is the inside non lacquered and non protected? Also you have clear fabric too? If so can the clear be welded to the coloured fabric? Thank you

Which kind of tape durably stick on PVC coated fabric . I have a bag which is made up of pvc fabric which is ruptured , Is sewing the right solution or sticking a duct tape ... Please help .. if you can Thank you

Hi Peter I bought some of this fabric and would recommend it to anyone, its truely amazing stuff. My application was what you could call non standard and despite my mediocre welding skills, it performs admirably. Having proven it works I would prefer a much neater, professionally welded, version and was wondering if that may be possible. Its quite a basic item, a rectangle of fabric measuring 1150mm long x 700mm wide, welded to form an endless belt (700mm wide).The only issue is the fabric weld overlap needs to be small, no more than 1/4", ideally less. I managed to do it with a basic hot air heat gun and, although it was far from pretty, the bond easily withstands a pull of 10kg. If its possible to buttweld the fabric and retain the strength that would be ideal (no lump in the belt) but a simple overlap weld works well enough. Any thoughts?
