@@Sethxiety Well in the survival logbook Mike draws nightmare, not because he is who we play as in FNaF 4 but because of remnant. Remnant causes you to experience or see memories that don’t belong to you which happens to Carlton in the fourth closet. The FNaF Encyclopedia confirms that we play as the crying child. Ennard if what I’m saying is right in some way would contain the crying child and the only reason Mike is alive is because of remnant and it’s because of this remnant he experiences the crying child’s memories in his dreams. Page 40: The Logbook asks Mike about his "recent dreams." Michael draws Nightmare Fredbear. Cassidy writes DO YOU HAVE DREAMS? However we know that the nightmare animatronics are real because of the sister location office but Michael can’t be the one being experimented on because he doesn’t at all fear the animatronics and the person we play as in FNaF 4 can barley reach the door knob. @ in the help wanted Easter egg there are only 4 endos not 5 meaning Cassidy was not apart of this. Why can’t Elizabeth be the 5th? Also we never see golden freddy taken apart and for why we see a 5th spirit well in the movies Cassidy can literally wander off without the golden freddy suit unlike the others

@Trontotario the 5th can’t be Elizabeth because she isn’t apart of molten Freddy in 6. The stories are about molten Freddy.

@ Molten freddy is the result of Elizabeth being kicked out, no stitching, melting or merging happening here so the candy cadet stories align more with Ennard then molten freddy.

If that's the case William probably forced Mike to give the false testimony. If Mrs. Afton was divorcing William after 2 of their children have died then it's possible that Mike was already being tortured in the nightmare chambers to be totally compliant.

Yeah I agree for the most part. People take issue with Mike being the couch guy as it feels like a change of character we see in 4. So to me, I don’t think it’s implausible for couch guy and Mike in 4 to be the same. person

Imo, I wouldn't say his personality is a complete 180 from 4. Michael isn't some evil person who absolutely hated BV. He was sincerely sorry for taking the pranks too far. It should also be noted the majority of BVRunaway theories have the setup that BV isn't scared yet, and so Michael wouldn't be on the fnaf 4 level of meanness at this point yet. As well, the couch person being Mike is a lot more than the grey shirt, as there is the TV watching too. In fact, the entire scenario in that living room heavily ties back to SL. We have the same type of table the TV is on (not a consistent design in the series, as seen in fnaf 4), the living room is blue, and the dynamic between the couch person and the yellow guy is a callback to Clara confronting Vlad in the immortal and the restless (and the logbook tells us Clara is supposed to be representing Mike).

Seems like the couch person is Mrs. Afton.

​​@@zenvariety9383the couch person is michael because one the pixelated sprites look similar to Michael's fnaf 4 pixelated sprites 2 the text color for the couch person is very similar to michael's text color in fnaf 4 and michael literally watches TV in fnaf 5 cutscenes like how the couch person does and also just because michael bully's the crying child doesn't mean he is some heartless monster like william logically it's normal if brothers bully each other but that doesn't mean they wouldn't have compassion for one another they just being kids yk kids aren't really yk and the grave looking thing could have Mrs.afton's dead body in it if I remember correctly one of the tapes in security breach if that is what you called it talked about a mother that possibly lets just say "reset character" but anyways you get the point.

@@ahusky4498 Let me make it clear that I do not think Mike is a monster/evil person. But I definitely do think he is a bully and a teenager who didn’t know any better. My problem with him being couch person is that he has been consistently characterised as someone who is very snarky, someone who doesn’t take things seriously when he really should. Everything from FNAF 4 to the survival logbook says this and in FNAF 4, Michael is constantly pulling pranks on his brother for his own enjoyment. In the survival logbook, he is basically always making jokes about fazbear entertainment and trying to find humour in almost everything in the book. Even in the sister location cutscene, he makes a sound that can be interpreted as a light scoff when he says the animatronics thought he was William. In my opinion the bite of 83 was what made him realise that he had gone too far with his brother and he tries to atone for it. The problem is that this doesn’t line up with couch person at all really. Couch person is way more subdued, Michael has never acted anything like this in the franchise. I don’t see how he could go from that to locking his brother in a back room and shoving him into the mouth of Fredbear in fnaf 4. Immortal and the restless is about vlad lying and gaslighting Clara the whole time about what’s going on which doesn’t really line up with couch person in midnight motorist. Couch person just tells William to not do something which doesn’t really line up with what happens in immortal and the restless. Also, the walls of the living room in SL looks more like a greenish colour to me. And in SB, the Mike room blatantly has walls that are very green. The only real connection to me is that they both watch TV, the problem with that is that a lot of people watch TV. I do get why people think bv is the runaway but I just think that Mike running away lines up with both characterisations more.

It probably isn't the same house to be honest. The neighbourhood in 4 has sewers while the neighbourhood in MM doesn't.

But that wouldn't make that much senses because charlie can't just already possess the puppet and then figure out how to create some shadow puppets and control them to do her commands and also shadow freddy is more connected with william and golden freddy and the puppet is already broken by the time it reached charlie so basically charlie can't do anything while possessing the puppet in a broken state because like the fnaf book the forth closet said that the soul is connected with what the animatronic feels so if the animatronic gets damaged they also take the damage they would also feel it so charlie is basically paralyzed at that moment while possessing the puppet and all of that but anyways uh yeah that's all I wanted to say.

Honestly, it's possible that Charlie could have died in 1987. With Elizabeth being dead by the time of Midnight Motorist and Henry having a happy family with two to three children of his own thus mirroring the Afton family could explain the motive for killing Charlie. Besides, Mike is most likely the runaway. Dave would be dead, possibly dying after Elizabeth, especially if he saw from outside of the room Circus Baby yank his sister inside of her stomach hatch.

Why Scott didn't show Elizabeth in the minigame, because she's already dead. Something curious I've noticed is that the car goes at the speed of 200 mph, the first car ever created was in 1987, could that be a hint?. However, Charlie must have died in 1983 due to Henry's speech & HW2 code. Maybe It's either the night of the DCI or How Michael became security guard. Also an adult working the 12-6 in 87 doesn't necessarily mean the position can't also be worked by a 16 year old before school. I'm just pointing out that Michael doesn't necessarily have to be 18+ to be Fritz Smith.

Yeah no what I mean is if his main motive involved sensing his brothers presence and the first time he did was MM’s night, then he would have to sit around till at least fnaf 2 to do something if the age was a problem which I find odd. As he would definitely attempt to connect with his brother sooner.

@Sethxiety exactly like it makes the ending less satisfying like it was all rapped up with a bow tie then new charectors appeared which kinda ruined the perfect ending like in a movie when it ends perfectly then a secual comes out and it just ruins the old story

Fazbear would have sent him stuff they wanted in the games as well as him adding stuff too I would assume. However they also fed into his fears by using the illusion disks to help inspire the horror of the games. But the ones in the VR game are meant to be recreations of the ones in-universe rather than our own I believe.

Steve only made the first 3 games and never finished the 4th. I'm assuming someone else made those games and Fazbear might have put his name on them as well, not too sure.

@@Sethxiety Yeah I guess that could work. But it’s possible that the stabbing quote was either literal or metaphorical. I believe that Fazbear LLC had to give him remnant inside of him to keep continuing. I’m not sure, maybe another dev was used. But my problem is that it’s never established if they got another dev since HW1 seems to indicate one indie dev is involved with the making. It could go either way

That's what Fazbear wanted you to believe. They wanted you to think these stories were made up by the rogue dev but in reality, they hired him to make games that were based on real events. Then when they became popular, Fazbear created the VR game to cover up the stories by claiming they were fabrications from this developer and it worked lol
