I am actually shocked with 7401. It's doing good along with 7405 and the 2 E400 MMC's. I still need to get 7403, 7404 and 7405 but will focus on trying to get them in the New Year along with 2863 and 3052 (if it comes into service).

Yeh, I do hope Stockton get more less older Pulsars in the future like any 12/13 or 14 plates. I would imagine in a few years time when depots start to cast away them for newer vehicles.

I'll be out and about sometime next week to get some more I need hopefully. But I have recordings to last me into the new year now.

Yeh, they're pretty good. However, I have also had decent experiences on 1553, 1556, 1562 and 1566.

@@NorthEastTravel1 1556 is awful in my opinion and I had a bad experience in 1567 a few weeks ago with it sounding tired.

Personally I think 1421 is on the same level. I was on it yesterday and was just super slow. Then again the driver was early. But all my experiences on it have been kinda dull. This one has improved though, I'll give it that. Went out today and got 1558, 1564, 1491 and 1453(which was insane this evening as it was running 20 minutes late)

@@NorthEastTravel1 I was on 1453 on the 5A on Saturday and there was plenty of kickdown.

@LAMtransport76 Just one more Streetlite left for me todo now which is good and also 4 Max Liveried Pulsars then I have Stockton Complete.

@@NorthEastTravel1 You might have to do the X12 for 1415, 1442 and 1443. 1441 has been out since the 1st of December.

@LAMtransport76 To be honest, If I can catch it on any route that'll do for me. However, the hard thing is gonna be these last 3 B9's I need. Its hard to get any footage due to how busy the X93 can be.

So, I've been out again today. I was planning to get 1564 but it was running late so I left the stand thinking that it weren't gonna turn up haha. However, I went on 1567, 1560, 1470, 1551, 1489, 4703, 1421 and 1448. I was also on 1454, 7405, 2841 and 1567 again which I couldn't manage to record due to the buses being busy.

I've got 1560 coming up on Friday. But tomorrow is another Stagecoach E300 for me but I might not upload because its my birthday tomorrow but I'll see how it goes...

@LAMtransport76 Well I hope you have a good birthday !! I have my part 1 of 3 on 1429 on the X3 tomorrow. Also where did you hear about the Centro marked for withdrawn?

@LAMtransport76 I have been hammering the Lites recently and I have been lucky to board some 61 Plate Pulsars I need also which is nice.

Definitely a good Pulsar. Redcar's 1438 was on the 29 today which was quite strange. I wonder why that is.

@@NorthEastTravel1 Probably just a loan like the 1427 loan in October when it was on the 9 for one day.

@LAMtransport76 It was quite odd to see it on there. Just didn't feel right to see 'NK10 CE' serving a Stockton Route. Looking forward to see what also North West Pulsars show up next year. I hope they're in good condition. But we know Redcar and gonna throw them all on the X4 X93 and X94 at some point. That's a guarantee.

@@NorthEastTravel1 Do you reckon Stockton are taking some North West Pulsars or do you think they'll be taking Redcar's if the Lites do go?

@LAMtransport76 Apparently theres talk of them taking 10 of their old ones back off Redcar and ALL the North West ones are going to Redcar to standardize the fleet. Also, what I have just thought about is the Centro. I wonder what the future holds for that.

I must say though that they struggle on hill climbing sometimes. Also, at least I have now done all of Redcars Pulsars, DB300's and Temsas. Just some left over Solos and B9's. If I go out every day this week, I'll have the Lites done tbf.

Nice. I seen your comment on your video about the Lites. I only need 4 more Ex Redcar Ones because I believe 1564 - 1573 will be the ones transferring down as they are at the bottom numbers of the list of the Lites. Also, heard rumours that 1404 is going to Stockton from Ashington and 1418 and 1429 are going back to Stockton from Redcar.

It would be a shame to see 1573 go. About 1404 and 1418, I'd be glad to have 1404 back but 1418 needs fixing at Redcar first. I'm unsure about 1429 though, I think it could do better at Stockton because there's less hillclimbing to do with Stockton's routes.

Tbf, 1469 on its day has insane kickdowns with the right driver. I do have a 61 Plate scheduled for tomorrow and its really good.

I have a recording of 1469 to upload at some point and the driver was taking it really slow and he was late.......

1000% better than 3053. I'm interested to see when 3052 comes into service.

7401 has been on the X93 now recently so thats good to see, I imagine we will see this back on there next year or on the P and R

Seemed to also have gone wrong again today on the 81 this morning. It was replaced by Temsa Avenue 4723. Out of vehicles to replace it aswell. I feel like we mention 4723 alot haha.

My mate hates 4723 with a passion aswell.

Yeh, it's kinda similar. I do like the DB300's. Been out today and went on Ex Redcar Lites 1569 and 1567. Was meant to go on 1564 straight after but it was pulled out of service for a couple of hours and sat in the Bus Station. It's service was replaced by 1573 which I have already been on so I got on 1484 instead. I then managed to get 1420 on the X4 and I thought I planned it correctly to get 1447 on the X3 straight after and I would have completed Redcar's Pulsar's but I didn't get my timings right. Instead I have an hour long video of 1429.

Did 1429 improve whatsoever?

​@@NorthEastTravel1I also did a similar thing on Saturday I got on Stagecoach's 26280 to Middlesbrough then I got on 7609 to Redcar because I wanted to get a DB300 done and I just about missed 1444 going Guisborough way on the 81 and my plan was to get to Redcar then get on that.

@@LAMtransport76 It's defo better than 1421. It has some sort of characteristics to it. Manages Hills really good too. Engine sounds very worn out though but yeh, it did quite well.

@@LAMtransport76 I was on 7609 on the X93 but there was a lot of people unfortunately. But my main aim is to get these Lites done and that Temsa I need. I do plan on going on some Stagecoach Vehicles too.

To be honest, I think they will use them on the X94 or the 62. But they could get transferred or withdrawn. Never know with Arriva.

They wouldn't fit in too bad at Darlo doing the 2/2A,7 or X66/X67.

1440 is always on the X4 but does occasionally have days on the 63. Sometimes its on the X3 but thats a rarity.

I know Redcar did throw it on the X4 at times too which probs didn't help it.

Yeh, it definitely isn't. It could have been a while ago though. I know it were decent in 2020/21

After I get the Ex Redcar Lites and the last Temsa I need done. I'm probs gonna try and finish off the deckers.

Hopefully I can get on all the Ex Redcar ones before the year is out. I'm not too bothered about Stocktons own. I do want to try 1551 however. I heard its really good.

@@NorthEastTravel1 I'm trying to get all of the Lites done which I nearly have done with the amount of them that I have recorded and haven't uploaded yet.

Yeh, its great to see it back in service and is useful for Redcar too as a fair few of vehicles are off the road at the moment.

7406 only randomly tracked as an X4 in Redcar for a second then went back to tracking as a 62. Sometimes that happens. I don't know why it does, quite odd. Also, in regards of the driver on 1418. I think the handbrake wouldn't release.

I also have some more footage of this trip aswell I will upload along the line. I also will have multiple of 7401 and 7406 aswell.

I think it was the Diff which was the problem as it sounded like 4701. Its good to see it back to its former self. Been out today and managed to get 1423, 1570, 7406, 1557 & and the recently returned 7401 which was actually quite decent.

Everyone will probably say Redcar did it no doubt xD. Also, I went on Ex Redcar Lites 1562 and 1573 today and they were actually really good.

@@NorthEastTravel1 Tbf to Redcar it was like that at Stockton.

This was recorded last Thursday so unsure why it didn't have the NSA. Also this one has a strange hissing sound. I think it has to be the cooling system.

Back around 10 years ago they won't have done because the 81 was more popular because Redcar had more shops back then. Also, it did used to extend past Guisborough to Stokesley and ran every 30 mins and even operated on Sunday. Now its just an hourly route. A fair few get on it during the summer.

@NorthEastTravel1 The screens in the bus stops in Guisborough Market Place still show that the 81 goes to Stokesley for some reason.

@@LAMtransport76 Yeh, the Guisborough bus stop screens are still messed up. It still has the 28 showing to Lingdale along with the updated 5A to Lingdale. They never fix anything around these parts. Also the 5/81 Bus stop towards Skelton way is broken and doesnt work.

I hope to see it at Redcar in the future probably thrown about on the X4.

@@NorthEastTravel1 1424 has been worn out by the X4 and can't hillclimb so if it does end up at Redcar (which it probably will) I hope it doesn't get ruined on it.

@@LAMtransport76 1424 is on the X93 today so that would be fun to go up Flyingthorpe Bank. Also 7401 is back out after being repaired at Durham and had it's MOT done at Ashington. Let's see how long its fixed back axle will last.

I think their time is up after this summer is over apparently as theres an age limit on the contract apparently. They probs will be scrapped or swapped onto the X93 for 2 B9's if they decide to keep them. I'm still waiting for the day 7401 returns.

@@NorthEastTravel1 7401's problem must be bad since it's been out since January.

@@LAMtransport76 Its in fact been out for over a year and a half. It did come out for one brief morning last year on a X94 but stopped only at Guisborough and was back at the depot before lunch time. It has a problem with its rear axle. The tracking in January was its ticket machine on a single decker as the 63 can't have deckers on it.

4717 was on the X4 today but stopped tracking earlier this afternoon. It was operating around 30 mins late.

@@NorthEastTravel1 1443 is the best of the lot, 1441 is good and I haven't been on 1442 for months.

I despise the 11 plate Temsa's. They've never been great.

So whilst the engine was getting replaced. They redone the front of it which it actually looks soo smart with the paint around the headlights instead of the black.

I agree with that. It's just one of them buses which just need to be stuck on the 62 and 63 Services.

I'm still interested to see what Pulsars turn up to replace the Temsas at Redcar. Hopefully there will be some good ones but I don't know much about the Merseyside ones.

@@NorthEastTravel1 Yeh, I was talking to MiracTheEpic and he said he'd rather have the 61 plates replace the Temsa's which is probably unlikely.

This was definitely a good one. I couldn't hear any problems with it compared to other Pulsars. There will be a decent amount of spares too once the winter timetable hits as the Whitby P & R and the X94 end at the start of November. I imagine a few deckers may get sent somewhere else.
