How to Build Halo Frigate in Starfield
How to video for building the Stalwart-class Frigate from Halo in Starfield. UNSC ship like In Amber Clad, Stalwart Dawn, Meriwether Lewis, Midsummer Night, Forward Unto Dawn.
FAQs
The base parts of the ship (the habs) should be available very early on in the game. Google tells me they are first found on Mars. I built the first draft of the ship at an outpost I built on the same planet as New Atlantis. There are reports that building a Large Landing Pad at an outpost gets you access to almost all parts that are available at your level though this is still unconfirmed. If you're early in the game you will most likely need to substitute the engines, landing gear, and ship docking module until later in the game. First build used the slim docking module attached to the hab directly behind the cockpit.

Over a year later and this ‘game’ looks dead…
@@kirishima638 The game itself is still being worked on according to Bungie. As for the ARG, I'm afraid I have to agree. From what I can tell the company that had been putting it all together and managing it is no longer working with Bungie at this time.
@@malusvici bet you dollars to donuts this project is dead and bungie will pretend it never existed. One short CGI teaser trailer with no gameplay and people lost their minds…
First, it's MY-DUH, second, MIDA finally makes its Canon debut, all the way as a small lore bit from Marathon 1, to their weapons in Destiny (MIDA Multi Tool and Mini Tool). Excited to hear all about them.
My only question is where the security officer is gonna fit into this game (obviously it wouldnt be him specifically, but you know what i mean if you know marathon lore)
I imagine we'll get some reference to the cyborgs. Maybe some armor like they did with the Security helmet in H3.
very cool recap. this is actually like my 3rd time returning to it. lowkey making me hype for this game lmao.
I did step by step and it keeps telling me I have unattached modules and docker module needs interior connection to cockpit
I've gotten an unattached module bug before when building other ships. Never had the docking module thing pop up before though. Could be another bug. This design has a clear path to cockpit. I flew it to the pad to make the video so it is compliant.
Ive just built this same had you spot on but saying got few landing geara
My frigate bugged out invisible and I can’t fly it anymore lmao
Its a glitch just go to the ship dealer press ur ship and it should spawn back it happened to me multiple times
I cannot for the life of me find the deimos belly aft
It's a flip of the other Deimos belly I believe. If you have access to all the other Deimos structural pieces you should have the belly available
@@malusvicilol thank you. I thought I would just need to move left or right. Didn't know flipping would change the name
You also didn't show you get the skeg a to attach to armory.
Deimos hull? How do u get that
Deimos hull is in the structural section. As far as I know it's available everywhere Deimos products are sold.
Want to know if I can build it without going to buy anything but using the default pieces at my outpost
As far as I'm aware you should have access to all the core hab pieces very early on at your outpost.
@@malusviciI can't, also one of the first one, the taiyo landing gear, I haven't got it but I don't understand how to get it... If I change the planet I cannot save the ship so how to do it?
@@ivancorsi3762 If the landing gear isn't there then you'll have just make the ship flight worthy to save it. Either lighten the ship to comply with the landing gear available or use enough of other landing gear to make it work while you look for the proper set. I guess I don't remember where exactly I found the landing gear in the video. Currently I'm using a completely different set of landing gear that I picked up on Titan, moon of Saturn, Sol System. They look way better anyways. I'll edit this comment with the name of the gear when I get back to my console.
Forward unto dawn?
Or as close as I could get, so more like Ahead to Sunrise. Though it's more based on the Halo 3 model than the Halo 4 model. For whatever reason 343 decided to change the ship along with a lot of the other art when they took sole ownership of the franchise.
@malus vici - Fantastic video dude! Not sure if you've heard this but we're fourth wall breaking 800+ years in the future by completing the ARG.. coolest shit ever
This is awesome! love you work and thanks for the guide
I'd suggest next time take it abit slower for some to catch up on this. Sometimes it's tiresome to pause it at the right second before you switch quickly to the next part
I was trying to make it short enough for the algorithm to pick it up. Figured people could watch it at half or quarter speed if they needed more time. Thank you for your input though and watching the video
@@malusvici ohhhh okay still, amazing work. I made a powerful out of it either way 🔥
Just slow down the playback on the video
Can you make one of the Systems Alliance ships from Mass Effect?
I can give it a shot but I gotta tell ya, there are some damn good looking Normandy remakes out there already.
Cool ship! The ONLY appealing aspect of this game to me is the ship building. Everything else looks like a hot-mess disaster, which makes Mass Effect Andromeda look like a really good game. In space in the future, you have no vehicles and have to run everywhere (typically over encumbered from all the crap you pickup). Ships look like NASA and a shipping container had a baby. Nothing futuristic, nothing that makes you go ‘wow’. All the npc dialogue facial animation looks like they underwent lobotomies and shock treatment. The writing is bland and boring. And you spend most of your time going through menu after menu, which is painfully slow due to unnecessary animations. This game makes Fallout 76 look amazing by comparison. I think I will skip it and play Ever-space 2 or Elite Dangerous instead.
Game has a few flaws for sure. It's a bit of a slow burn in the main story but I gotta tell ya, it absolutely shines in the side quest department. The only reason it won't take GOTY in my opinion is because it released same year as Baldur's Gate 3. If you're trying to rush through it because you've got a review deadline to meet, or you just like saying "yeah I beat that game," it is not a great game for that at all. If you didn't enjoy Skyrim, Fallout 3/4, or other BGS single player RPGs this one isn't going to change your opinion on BGS. If you're looking for a world to immerse yourself and get lost in it's got so much to offer and players are still just scratching the surface. If you enjoy looking up at the stars this game has some of the best space views in gaming. I fully disagree that there's "nothing futuristic." Neon and New Atlantis are both great looking cities that show two very different interpretations of what cities of the future could be. Anyone looking at these videos and is tempted to give it a shot it's well worth the price of a month of Game Pass to try it out. My biggest advice is chase whatever side quest strikes your fancy and don't try to "finish" the game.
How much it cost?
I don't entirely remember but I think it's somewhere between 50k and 80k depending on exactly which weapons and engines you go with.
@@malusvici thanks, right now I have 100k but like infinite resources, I will try to make it
So it only cost you around 27k creds? And what shipyard did you use?
I think it'll cost you closer to 50k to build it. 27k is what it will sell for if you sell it one piece at a time but you don't get the full value back when you sell parts. I built the core of the ship at an outpost I built with a large landing pad on the same planet as New Atlantis. So you should have access to all the habs and hull pieces there. I do think the side docking module is level locked because I remember my first draft of the ship used the slim top mounted docking module and I put it right behind the cockpit.
@@malusvici cool deal thanks you answered alot more questions I had too regarding ship building and settlements
Watching this makes me wish we had stairs and elevators instead of just ladders which you climb slowly
I use my boost pack to go up and down but elevators would be nice
I'm sure modders will take care of that soon enough
Man, the boost pack is your own personal elevator
Implementing static stairs is asking too much of Bethesda.
Master chief mine tell me what you're doing in a better game than halo infinite
Exploring the stars and being whimsical, Sir.
This is the best one yet
imagine the Infinity...
Oh, I do...
That would be hard to do even with mods.
in what spaceport can we do this?
The base parts are mostly Deimos which you should have access to early in game and are initially available on Mars. There are reports that if you build a large landing pad at an outpost you will get access to all parts available to you at your level but those reports are uncomfirmed as of now. I will say that is where I built this ship, an outpost I made on the same planet with New Atlantis. If you're still low level/early game the biggest substitutes you're probably going to need to make are the engines, landing gear, and the docking module. I used a slim docking module on the top of the ship until I unlocked the side mounted one.
That was great 🙏🏼 im mostly hoping for someone to rebuild the imperial shuttle from star wars.
Could you build The Piller Of Autumn or is that too big?
I've been trying to wrap my head around how to pull off a Halcyon-class Light Cruiser like the PoA. In my head it's less about the size and more that I haven't come across any parts that I can use to replicate the slight angle that the sides of that ship has. If I find the right parts I'll absolutely give the Pillar of Autumn a shot.
@@malusvici good luck if you do man
which location did you build the ship at? im having trouble finding the right selection of ship parts
Unfortunately I had to do some traveling to track down all the parts and it has been evolving as I've traveled. The full ship is like version 3 and I actually found new landing gear that fits the profile better tonight on Titan (Saturn's moon, Sol system) I mostly used New Atlantis and Cydonia in the initial build. I did notice that building an outpost with a large landing pad on the same planet as New Atlantis seemed to give me access to more hab modules. The engines are class C and you will definitely need to level up to get it but the skeleton is mostly made of habs and hull pieces from Diemos. I know I built it at the outpost on the New Atlantis planet but I'm unsure if I had to travel to Mars to unlock the part.
@@malusvicihave not tried myself but from the videos I have seen on ship building the outpost large landing pad gives you access to all part (no mater outpost location) with the exception of a few unique parts that are found at manufacture Star yards. Like some of the special cockpits and cargo holds at red mile. Most places give you one or two manufactures parts to chose from. Also believe the starter ship has its one unique module that you can get no where else if I remember right. Finally you unlock more with ship design skill.
@@garrettelrod9197 Shipparts are bound on 3 things. Character Level (Big engines unlock at lvl 27 etc.), Piloting Skill and Shipdesign Skill. A big Hub on an Outpost gives you a lot of parts but not all like mentioned.
@@Junkiemann hey thanks for letting me know. I been saving up in the game and working my way to build my first ship, been watching a several videos in preparation. Wonder if we will see more unique parts being discovered over time as well ?
The yards also vary with each playthrough. So the new atlantis yard may a good portion of those parts for you but not some one else and vise versa. I know for me I can find a good portion of the parts in Akila.
Amazing Work!

So, do I have to be a professor too to actually play the game? Asking for a friend
I imagine, like a lot of Bungie titles, you'll be able to just hop in and have fun without digging that deep into lore. Like with Destiny, you don't have to be an expert to hop in and play the story missions or social PvP. At the same time, to day one raids in Destiny you do need a certain degree of expertise in the game mechanics. I'd like to think Marathon will strike a similar balance.
Marathon lore is crazy i hear.
The timeline in infinity is essentially only one timeline, the Tycho arch, as it is the only one that leads to the Jjaro AI being utilised as intended. All others are attempts that either lead to the events of Durandal happening again but in slightly different ways
Or, to summarize, it's Homestuck :V Especially with the W'rkncacnter being freed signaling a Doomed Timeline
@@higueraft571 never read it so can't really comment
@@higueraft571 lmao did not expect a homestuck to show up

What the fuck is ARG
ARG stands for Augmented Reality Game. It's typically a game that takes place in a mix of digital and real life. It's kind of like a conspiracy except it's orchestrated by a company usually as a way to build hype for a product. Another example is when District 9 was about to hit theaters. There was a phone number they put on posters that you could call to report alien sightings and then you would get clues to unlock more lore for the movie.
@@malusvici so a real life crappy loot box pretty much
@@JR-jc7oj Have you ever played a puzzle game? Or Marathon (while trying to figure out what the fuck the story is exactly, through the Terminals)?
@JR-jc7oj in what way is it a loot box?
@@7fatrats No clue, i assume they read ONLY the "unlock more lore" part and immediately thought "i bet you have to pay money to buy items!!!".
Good luck with your channel There's a hidden name in the username section of that website at 03:25 if you slow down a recording of you taking your cursor off the username
So, Traxus was the AI that f*cked Mars (and it's 5 others AI) back in the day, it took 2 years of offline grid to get rid of Traxus damage, yet Traxus lives. When I first saw the Traxus name I almost through my coffee. Traxus might just be our first Stable AI after rampancy. Leela sent out the first "SOS" when the colonyship Marathon was first attacked, the angel figure might just be Leela. Leela is not rampant but she is pissed AF. The SOS message, took or would take, 92 uyears to reach Terra. The S'pht are still in Tau Ceti??? Why? UESC can go to hell, MIDA all the way! Jokes aside, the Marathon ship was seen as an opresion tool to the Martian People, so MIDA was born and MIDA did things, powerfull things, one of then was the Cyborg (the player in the 3 originals Marathon games). Now to the Tau Ceti, it was saved, we new that. There were 10 cyborgs in Tau Ceti, 9 on planatside and one at Marathon. We Know that the 9 in the planet saved the planet from the Aliens... But now they are gonne. So, after all of this, Terra might felt that the colony was way too quiet and felt a need to send someone. The year tho, it takes 12 light years to ligh to travel from Tau Ceti to Terra, so the game is on 2850 and the first game is in 2794, 56 years earlier.
you know what? I bet this is an introduction to how Marathon is going to tell its story. I find it hard to believe that Bungie would make all these websites for just one arg. This could mean that Marathon is going to double down on cryptic secrets, multi-media storytelling through the internet, and community-wide args. Which would probably be the best possible modern adaptation of Marathon's storytelling and deeper lore that we could ask for.
Honestly, it is one of the best ways you can continue a lore like the original Marathon Trilogy but in a more modern way, because i don't think anyone would want to read the undreds of computer terminals with cryptic writing like in the old ones. This way of telling the story really is one of the best ways they could have done it in my opinion.
@@jebusspqr2121This way also inherently involves the community which is really neat
i totally agree many people think that marathon might have zero story . but when the devs say the story will be player driven i think this could be a part of what they mentioned and i doubt they would do all this just for one arg or a one off thing. i think this could be their way of telling the story while also getting the community involved
bungie have done this with literally every game they released since halo ce
I haven't heard of this one! Thx sm.
Super hype for the release. Thanks for an amazing explanation, dude!
Seems like a stressful yet fun game
Wait, is there not any information on any AIs in the ARG at the moment? That stuff was the backbone of the original games. Have they been referred to?
They were mentioned in the UESC documents but iirc they just briefly mentioned them and talked a little bit about rampancy. I chose not to include them in the break down because they didn't seem central to the plot of the ARG at this point and they weren't apart of any of the puzzles.
traxus iv is the ai who caused the martian internet to be taken down when he went rampant, traxus is a major player in the arg
Keep making vids man, great work on this explanation!
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing :)
