Here we go again. Ive tried step by step complete directions to this time and again, on Win10 and Win11 with 5 different computers. 10 yrs ago I had it working and not since. I cant seem to get the right version of Calibre or the deDRM tools on ANY device or computer Ive tried it on. It never works. It’s agonizing. So I’ll try it your way step by step if it’s different than the others. Ive got 3000 books on Amazon that Ive bought and paid for. It would be nice to be able to use a different Ereader sometimes. I’ll update if your way works.

Thanks so much for taking the time to make this tutorial. I just purchased a Kobo to replace my old Kindle. Do you know if there is a way to also transfer any highlights you have made on your books from Kindle to Kobo? I will keep my Kindle for purchasing books if I don't find it anywhere else, but I want my Kobo to be my main device. Thanks again :)

Thank you so much for these detailed instructions. I just ordered the KOBO and am waiting for delivery. I have a question. Does the transfer from the Kindle device work if you purchased the book but did not download it? Or do I have to go back and make sure that all of the books are downloaded? I have thousands of Kindle books that I have purchased over the last 10 years, but I have not moved them all as I have upgraded devices several times.

I agree about Malice the buildup is slow but Wrath and Ruin are freaking incradible! Just finished Our Last Echoes by Kate Alice Marshall last night and really enjoyed it! A Korean American book I liked last month was Nine Tailed by Jaycee Lee it was a good romantasy with a lot of Korean folklore, the only downside was the romance had one very irritating element but overall a win! 💀

Since you had stats I decided to look up stats in NZ and I found we haven't had the same growth in book banning that the US has. Most of the books that are banned here are actually sexually gross (like involving children) 🤢 or about drug manufacturing 😅

Hope this isn’t a dumb question.- can I transfer my audible books to Kobo as well?
