I think dark universe will be better but I question if I'm being biased because I know more about the plans for dark universe that villains lands

It's funny & convenient Disney brought back the idea of the villains land which no one gives a dam about when UNIVERSAL'S CLASSIC MONSTER LAND was announced. In my opinion I'm more hype for the classic monsters land at Universal!

I love the ride was able to ride it in July …but I was worried about it breaking down when I was there so we did the 10am queue would have loved to ride it at night time cause the bayou looks amazing at night

Literally it will probably be close to a decade before disney makes their land. They are already too late. Edit...also, if disney won't even add Dr. Facilier on the new princess and the frog ride cause of the whole voodo thing....why even bother having a land based on your villains when you don't even add them to new rides when people are saying we want it.

The reason why Universal hasn’t done Sit Down type Restaurants is because at Universal, there’s just so much to walk around and do! So, it’s just not practical to have Sit Down Restaurants all over the place.

My money is literally on Epic Universe’s Dark Universe Land! Go Universal! Boo Disney!

It was boring. Need some ride on haunted houses, need pitch black rooms to avoid seeing the scare three ppl in front of you, need more of meow wolf interactive scary vibe, with slides and more interaction than walk throughs.

Hey Guys, I saw you in the death eaters area and took the pic with you. Interesting hearing your feedback from the same night I was there. I totally agree the scare zones were very underwhelming. I thought the swamp would be way better. The houses seem to totally depend on if timing is on your side. The house design is excellent, costumes/makeup/ actors were fantastic. I will say stay and scream is very much worth the additional cost. But, just standing in line for 2 hours just to save 2 hours didn’t make any sense to me. We took the time to hit a few rides, ate a bunch of HHN food, then got into the line around 445-450. We were in NY area right in front of Ghostbusters food stands. So all the way back. Choose quiet place first, then Insidious, then ghostbusters. Walked out at 6:14pm. Overall we loved the event, had a ton of fun, and got to tell you I appreciate all you do! Very successful Sat night!

EPCOT should be about "Utopian Sci-Fi". It should have a soft, cassette-futurism aesthetic with some relaxing 80's ambient music and colors, all while utilizing rides and attractions that utilize edutainment to inspire everyone from around the world and across the generations to work towards a better tomorrow.

I'm more interested if Disney will be offering discounts for when it opens. Because goodness knows the lines will be shorter.

Dark Universe will have the better rides and edge, but Disney’s Villains will have the better theming and immersion

It’s very hard to say since we don’t know much about the villains land. As an ip, I prefer the villains. However in the concept art, it looks like rmc’s eye box coaster track. If Disney built an rmc, I’d probably have to give it to villains. I'd also prefer a trackless dark ride to the kuka arm since that ride system makes me nauseous.

We don't have any details about Villains Land, so it seems a little premature to be judging one against the other.

The rushed and half-baked looking Villians land concept art looks like it was spun from Midjourney, or some other AI art generator.

Disney will NOT outperform Universal, particularly here. Disney ALWAYS under delivers then overspends on a bloated marketing campaign in a feeble attempt to convince people that it will be good when we all know better.

This is a pathetic, desperate move by Disney. They’re backpedaling to a long dead concept in response to the excitement around Epic Universe and Universal’s brilliant move fast-tracking it the way they have. Bloated, backwards disney is now officially on notice as they steadily decline.

Dark Universe is Universal’s legacy. 100 years of horror and it all started with the monsters. There’s no question it will be incredible! Disney Villains Land will be very cool as it’s the antithesis of their Princesses which is the Disney legacy. I’m very excited for both.

They're also allegedly expanding the Hogwarts Express to drop you off at the Ministry of Magic in Epic Universe as well, so, to your point, transportation between parks is only a few minutes walk away wherever you want to go.
