Hi Graham, thanks for watching our video! I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'icons with radius'. Do you mean only displaying markers that fall within a certain radius of the user?

@@CranfordTech My application uses GPS-enabled devices that provide location coordinates along with an accuracy radius, which can range from 1 meter to 5 km. I want to visually represent this by drawing a circle around the main coordinates, with the radius indicating the possible area where the device could be.

Hi Anna, this means there's something going wrong with your backend workflow. A couple of things to troubleshoot: - Are you on a paid Bubble plan? You will need to be in order to run backend workflows - Have you unchecked the 'This workflow can be run without authentication' option? Or if you've left it checked, have you added an API token? Thanks Andrew! 🙂 Not quite sure what you mean by 'one flow'. Do you mean the one-click purchase vs. the Stripe hosted Checkout Session? If so, there was actually an issue with my Stripe webhook that meant the 'Purchase (One Click)' button wasn't showing. I've just fixed this, so if you sign up as a new user you should be able to see it now.

@@CranfordTech I only see a flow of 4 steps. in your demo app. is that how it supposed to be?. that simple? also why did you choose the marketplace plugin? Can't you do this with the free, official one from stripe?

@@andrewfromremotetribe yep 4 steps is all that's needed, although there's some logic a backend workflow that's used to update the transaction after it's complete. The Stripe Connect - Marketplace plugin (which I built 🙂) is designed specifically for marketplace payments. The standard Bubble Stripe plugin can be useful for certain payment flows, but it's quite limited for a lot of scenarios. Hope that helps!

Hi there! My understanding is that there's no strict technical limit on how much time a platform can hold funds before transferring them to the connected account. However, depending on what country you're based in, there may be legal restrictions on how long you can hold the funds for. In general, I would only advise holding the funds in the platform account as long as you need to (i.e. while the service is being delivered) and would check with Stripe support if you've any doubts. And yes, you can use manual payouts with any type of charges.

I'm afraid I don't think this approach will work as you can't transfer from a connected account to a platform account. However, what you could do is use manual payouts - it is now my recommended approach for most marketplaces where you're using escrow-style payments. Hi Lee, this is a good point. I've just released a new version of the plugin (version 2.22.0) that has a new data call 'Retrieve a Refund'. This lets you get the details of a refund, including its status. You should be able to use this to get the latest refund status and avoid issuing a second refund. Please note this call requires the Refund ID, so you'll need to save this down from the initial 'Create a Refund' action. Hope that helps and let me know if you've any questions 🙂

Hi there, I know we discussed this via email, but just wanted to post here too in case any future people come across it. I'm afraid ALL the repeating group records need to be visible on the screen for PDF Creator to add them to the PDF. However, there are two solutions you could consider: 1. Temporarily show the 100 records before you generate the PDF then hide them after the PDF is generated (using the 'When PDF Creator is downloaded' event). I've seen some plugin users add a loading screen while all this is going on, so the end user doesn't actually know what's going on 2. We have another Bubble PDF solution called PDF Potion. It works a bit differently to PDF Creator (and is a bit more expensive), but you can basically design the PDF in a hidden page of your Bubble app, so your user never actually sees it. I've seen quite a few PDF Potion customers create PDFs with >100 repeating group cells pdfpotion.com/ Hope that helps 🙂

Hi there, this is a very good point. Yes, I would recommend securing your backend workflows by using some form of authentication. You'll see in some of my more recent videos that I do so by generating an API Token and appending it to the endpoint URL. Hi James, I believe we've been in contact via email, but just wanted to respond here too for any people who come across this in the future. 1) to your knowledge, can these variable marker styles be done with the native Google map element? Or only with the Mapbox plugin? I'm honestly not sure. I primarily use Mapbox, so I'm not very familiar with the native Google map element. I'm sure it's quite possible to do with Google Maps via a custom integration, but I'm not sure what functionality the standard Bubble Map element offers. 2) i don't want to save the icon in the data table, because i might change the icon later... is it possible to therefore change the marker style based on the option set directly? (as opposed to what's happening now, which is that the option set is being used to save a specific type of marker in the data table) Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's what I'm doing in the section from 11:10 of this video? :) Apologies ifI've misinterpreted your question.

@cranford Tech - I figured this out and its here for others: don't forget to tick: ‘Show all items immediately’ options on the repeating group. This is the fix for missing data rows in repeating groups on the page.

Interesting. Is the repeating group the very first element in your element tree? Or does it have a parent element (a group container maybe)? I would suggest making sure the repeating group doesn't have any direct parent elements. I'm afraid all elements need to be visible on screen for PDF Creator to be able to create a PDF of it. However, we do have another Bubble PDF Solution called PDF Potion that can create PDFs of pages that the user isn't on. pdfpotion.com/ So you could have all 7 pages of your form in a separate page of your app (that the user won't see) and create a PDF of that page with PDF Potion. Hi there, I'm afraid it isn't currently possible to do this with our PDF Creator plugin. You either have to have the footer/header on all pages or none at all. Hi there, the server error usually occurs when you haven't added a credit card to your account. If you go to your Bubble settings, add your credit card information, and then try to purchase the plugin again you should be able to do so 🙂

Thank you for the kind words! I'm afraid it's not possible to create a Checkout Session where you automatically split the payment between multiple sellers and your platform. That's why the 'Platform Fee (Cents)' field isn't included with this action 🙂 You'll need to use the 'Separate Charges and Transfer' approach described in this video. The full value of the payment first goes to your platform and then you can transfer the appropriate amount to each seller (less any platform fee you want to keep).

What if I in another scenario wanted to achieve the below: In this scenario my platform operates with individual shopping carts per store, so customers can only make purchases from one shop at a time (if they go to another store they get a new store-specific shopping cart (empty at first)). I’d like the Stripe payment process to display the merchant’s name, rather than my platform’s, to provide a more branded and seamless experience for each store. Ideally, I’m aiming for a fully white-labeled setup, where the platform functions as an invisible facilitator for the stores. And if possible Stripe could just directly payout/transfer to the merchants bank account and not having my platform as intermediate would be ideal. This way, my platform would not take any platform fee, users would have pure subscriptions (monthly/yearly). Would love if you could help me figure out the last one here. Can I still use your plugin for this scenario? Big thanks for your help.

@@SLK00DK that's an interesting use case 🙂You can achieve most, but not quite all, of what you described with our plugin. You can allow the customer to transact directly with the merchant by setting the 'on_behalf_of' parameter to 'yes' when Creating a Checkout Session. The merchant's name will appear on the payment form. However, this will only work if your platform and the merchant are in the same country (different countries in the euro area are ok). I'm afraid there's currently no way to completely exclude your platform as an intermediary. However, you could set the platform fee to 0, which would mean the full amount of the payment would go to your merchants. The one problem with this is that your platform would still need to pay the Stripe fees on each transaction. You could look at building your own custom integration that uses direct charges. This way the customer transacts directly with the merchant and the merchant pays the Stripe fees. This is something I'd like to implement in the plugin, but I can't promise when exactly I'll get around to it. Hope that helps!

Once the user clicks the marker (that shows the price) is it possible to display some hotel data (from current marker clicked) into a Group Focus that is of type « hotel »? All mapping plugins seem to only allow to display data in a popup or a refular group, i would like to be able to display the data in a focus group instead (and the position of the focus group being fixed to the marker’s position).. the idea is that the user clicks on the price tag and a group focus animates (slidesDown for instance) right below the marker and not in a popup that shows up at the center of the screen.. maybe an enhancement for future versions (?)
