Sydney’s vintage electric train set F1 sounds
A video mix of traction motors from very beloved heritage Sydney’s electric train set F1, more known as "Red Rattler". This train is around 90 years old now and one of the most iconic thing of it is the really noisy traction motors, that sometimes can cause rattling inside the train. That’s why people called them the "Red Rattlers". Enjoy 1 hours of this noises from the past!

In 2023 a 4 brand new light rail trams were ordered for L1 "Dulwich Hill" line to increase route’s capacity. I do not have the Alstom Citadis at my birthplace unfortunately
In Nice, France (my city) our tram line 2 goes underground near the city center and reach 75 km/h on the tunnels. I love to record it because i rarely take it. They do the exact same sound as there are Alstom 405.

They went to "Sell & Parker" scrapyard that is located in Blacktown. All carriages are gone sadly…

I visited them a few years ago and they were amazing! They look after the local veterans so well, and also reuse these pieces of railways history for the great work that they do.
