I would have took it a step further by roughing up both the connector and tuner box and put on soldering flux first it will make the solder flow evenly around the connector for a clean professional finish. Also, thanks for the info because i also planning to do the same thing with my TV set.

I have a digital labs portable television that has digital signals and possibly analog signals and my old connector was lost and all I really have to do is snap it on in place and then, the signal will be recognized and the signal will work

I have a 27 inch RCA Colortrack crt tv with just an analog tuner, when this thing broke off I took a twin leads 300 to 75 ohms transformer and sodered the leads together then sodered it to the points on the board and it worked just fine.

Good job on video, good lighting , good sound, nice macro lens work. My little 20 in lcd tv coax female connection in the RV just broke today. Tv’s that are on a swivel mount brings a whole new meaning to stress on this connection. If I can fix this I will install a clamp to hold the coax in place
