Exploring a Haunted Abandoned Mental Asylum that has over 1,000 unmarked Graves (NSW)
Today, I'm taking you on a journey through a Haunted, Abandoned Mental Asylum in Sydney - a place that holds many secrets. Over 1,000 ex-inmates lie buried in unmarked graves on these very grounds, and its said the asylum itself was built atop 100 forgotten graves. Originally it was a sanctuary meant to relieve overcrowding at a nearby Mental Hospital. Patients were once encouraged to spend time on these grounds, tending gardens and working with their hands-a misguided attempt to cure their suffering with 'honest work' and 'better environment.' But as the decades wore on, overcrowding became unbearable, the stench of neglect filled the halls, and investigations into abuse led nowhere.
Stay tuned as we explore the remnants of this dark past-and see if spirits of those who suffered here still linger in these halls.

They did an immense job of cleaning the files and equipment. That must of been a well conserved piece of pharmaceutical work we will never know about? Im telling you bro the shit they’ve been doing for hundreds of years to animals and humans is far more than you would expect. Delving into extensive research on depression is by far the most grueling thing I’ve seen in a while. This place doesn’t look as though it held up experimentation. More meetings and logistics it looks? But often the files are left behind. Same with computers often times? Even with sensitive data. That shits just out in the open everywhere? How did you get the balls to go by yourself in the dark hallways like no problem? I don’t believe in ghosts, but if I was in your place I would have been a complete bitch bro…. No doubt. Fuck that. Id be thinkin some crack head’s getting cooper around the corner and here comes a piece of glass to my neck or some shit…. Maybe put a narrative in the videos? Hard to hear you whisper? Which I don’t think you need to. I understand you though I would have been just shaking like wiener in the wind. But yeah maybe talk about some fucked up historical facts of the place or how bad it smells what ya see coming in? How you got in and if there was security? Gotta give us the giblets. All I got was a little bit of some thigh meat, was good bro! I subbed. Looking forward to more.

Same here, mate. To see these become wrecks is a personal insult to me as I had donated my own hard earned money towards the so-called ‘ preservation’ of these vehicles. The Sydney Electric train society is the biggest joke on earth. They are delusional with no vision or goal, nothing but a bunch of foamers who hate being called out for what they are; a pack of immature idiots. Now they did the same again this time at Merriwa at the old station site, another seven rattlers stored out the open and in the elements. These guys haven’t got a clue. I too, left with disgust after being one of the first original members since 1993 I had a gutful and had joined up with their opposition; Historic Electric Traction, or HET. At least they are working with the heritage section of TrainsNSW and doing a good job with the three electric trains they have.

Between 12:00 - 17:00 these aren't Tulloch, but Comeng 'sputnik' cars 3714 (1958) & 3725 (1959) You can tell the difference between them & Tulloch as there is no sliding door next to the drivers control stand, the passenger doors were electrically operated & fluro tubes instead of incandescent light bulbs. Both cars were on set W2 which was repainted into the Sydney zoo train in 1992 before being withdrawn in 1994. I'm not sure if they are the same cars seen externally between 29:00 - 30:00. You can buy the zoo train as part of an 8 car set in Ho scale at Bergs Hobbies in Parramatta. Between 24:00 & 27:00 these aren't Tulloch's either. AFAIK they are 'standard' cars built specifically as parcel vans at the Walsh Island dockyard in 1928.
