    Very nice thank you! I am excited about your new series and look forward to future tour videos you make. I loved that you showed the Pom Pom playground ❤ in this episode. It is so whimsical and artisitic that it is of interest to anyone of any age. It would be fun to explore it again, maybe talk to some of the people that created it and see people in the video enjoying it . I love budapest videos made by hungarians! So much better than tourist made videos. My favorite budapest channel is Egy Hély have you seen it? This is exactly the type of budapest tour that audiences love because an hungarian is giving a sense of the place with historic background, old still pictures or postcard photos together with video showing what it is like at this moment - Take a look at their Japankért episode! It offers wonderful inspiration! I'd like to offer some thoughts and suggestions for this series of yours. I would love to see you take us on a Villamos ride along Duna part at night! (record silently and voice over later from a quiet area). Also, I suggest that you appear in the video only twice, fist at the start when you introduce the show and then again at the end to let us know what locations you want to show in any upcoming episodes. Give us a smile once in a while . Good luck to you on this wonderful new project and thanks again!😊

      Welcome here! :) Thank you for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it!😊 I've never heard about that channel, but I will check it out, thank you for the recommendation! That's a great idea with the villamos!😊 The tram line next to the Danube and the Parliament is definitely one of the most beautiful ones in Europe, it's really worth showing! Yes, you're right, next time I will talk a little bit less (or more concentrated) and record more outside videos, because that's why I appeared more times. I will focus on this in the next one! Yes, as I rewatched my video, I also realized that I speak very serious, even though I would like to make a fun little video about the first district. I'm still just learning how to create a more exciting atmosphere in the videos, but I'm sure with time I will manage it!😊 I really like what I'm doing and I hope that you will feel it as well! ❤ Thank you for your patience and for these amazing tips! Have a wonderful day!

    I really enjoyed your latest video. The last time I went to Budapest was around 10 years ago, and we stayed with my father's cousin who lived near the Keleti train station. It was close enough that we could walk to the park from her apartment. I've always liked Hero's Square because I remember going there with my father the first time we went to Budapest, and I also like the castle and the statue of Anonymous behind it. They were really gorgeous, it's really worth a visit! I can't really tell, we were there on a Saturday, but only a few places were open (like 3-4 that were cafés and bars), so those you can visit inside, the others... I don't think so. Totally understandable! :D I'm more of a picky person, so for me the taste of the Kofola is a bit strange, but my boyfriend loves it! Sadly it's really rare to find it in Budapest (there are a few places though where you can drink it), so in Slovakia it was a must! :D Courtyard of Europe make so much more sense, but on the internet I found "Europe Place", so I went with it... but now I see that you can call it Courtyard of Europe... much better in my opinion. 😂 It was truly beautiful, I loved it!

    • @simonach1732
      @simonach1732 25 днів тому

      @@petrasperspective for me it's probably because I've been drinking Kofola since I was a child and everybody here preferred it and not Coca-cola :D but I know people outside of Slovakia don't like it much :D I really liked limited version - gingerbread Kofola, but I haven't seen it for years (but I'm also not looking for it anymore cause I don't drink it now :|)... I had to google how it is called and I was looking for translation of how exactly it is in slovak :D but I found both of these names :) and I haven't been there yet!

    I like your video's. I'm from the Netherlands, next week we'll go on our trip through eastern/central europe. Komarom is on our list, as well as Tata and Székesfehérvár. (you made some video's on those places) and lake Balaton too. We travel by car (so we avoid km's walking you did), and expect milder temperatures near the end of september :) Been to Hungary in 2021 we loved it! (though the language sounds like abracadabra to us ;) ). On that trip in 2021 we were in Debrecen and met a couple of students who studied and spoke Dutch, we couldn't believe it! How totally unexpected it was to speak Dutch with Hungarians.

    • @petrasperspective
      @petrasperspective 26 днів тому

      @bert7029 Welcome and thank you for sharing your story! :) Great plans and with car it's even more comfortable! In this way you will see much more places than we did, that's for sure. Lake Balaton will be amazing, sadly I couldn't film anything there this summer (it was in my plans, but I had to change them), but there are so many beautiful cities / towns around the lake, like Tihany, Balatonfüred, Keszthely, Siófok, Badacsonytomaj etc.... they are all worth a visit. Honestly, I've never been to Debrecen, but it's on my list! I can imagine what a cool experience it was that you found some people that spoke Dutch. I would be also amazed if someone would speak Hungarian in the Netherlands. :D I hope you will have a great time here! :)

    Once upon a time, when I was a child, there was square cheese. Maybe the cubed cheese came from here (I'm a 50-year-old guy). There was even chocolate-flavored cheese. The taste is somewhere between cheese and chocolate, but really neither. It wasn't a success story even then. The pig's cheese was left out.. I can imagine the foreigner: do they milk the pig?

    • @petrasperspective

      @tamaslukacs3173 I remember that my mum talked about the chocolate-flavoured cheese and that always sounded really strange! Pig's cheese.. yes, that's also true, it's a one of a kind thing, for sure. There's so many things I could have mentioned, but that was all I found in the first round. Maybe one day I will do another part and I will definitely include it. Thank you for your comment!

    Thank you for your videos. I enjoy seeing your everyday life in Budapest.I live in the United States in New Orleans, Louisiana. My father was Hungarian, and I've been there three times. My mother cooks a lot of Hungarian dishes and rakott krumpli is one of my favorite meals.

      Welcome here! Thank you so much for your comment and for sharing your story! It's always so interesting to see that so many people are somehow "connected" to this little country. And yes, rakott krumpli is one of the best Hungarian dishes, I agree with you! :)

      Szia Petra! Most tanulok Magyarul mért szeretnék Magyarországot meglátogatni jövőre. Persze hogy jó ha tanulunk egy kis Magyar nyelvet tőled is. Van egy kérdésem, lehet hogy tudsz segíteni. Sok unokatestvérem van és amikor jövök szeretnék hozni egy kis ajándékot de nem tudom hogy mit. Annyi üveg bort nem lehet a bőröndbe tenni. Van valami amit tudok hozni Kanadából mindenkinek ami nem túl nagy vagy nehéz? Köszönöm, Marianne

    • @petrasperspective
      @petrasperspective 27 днів тому

      @TravelBound2024 Szia! Köszönöm a kommentet! Szerintem nincs olyan, hogy rossz ajándék, egy apróság is nagyon szuper! Én Kanadából biztosan olyan ajándéknak örülnék, amit nálunk nem lehet kapni (ami eszembe jutott, hogy egy kis adag juharszirup nagyon jó ajándék, esetleg szép csomagolásban, mert azt nagyon nehéz Magyarországon kapni és nagyon drága is). Én annak nagyon örülnék, és szerintem mások is. Szóval az a tanácsom, hogy olyan dolgot vigyél az unokatestvéreidnek, ami tényleg kanadai, vagy annak egy jelképét ábrázolja, mert az emlékezteti őket, hogy kitől kapták azt az ajándékot. Remélem, ez segített.

If you decide to visit, I hope you will like it, if you need any advice, contact me! Köszönöm a hozzászólásodat, nagyon kedves vagy! :)

    I remember being in the castle district in Budapest with my ex wife ( hungarian) during the festival then all of sudden there were planes flying over head and all this traffic and tons of people...I asked my wife why is there so many people? she just casually told me its a holiday...she was over it all....lol

      I'm really thankful for your comment, you are very sweet! :) Making a video every week can be hard sometimes, not going to lie, but it's worth it at the end, I'm not trying to make 'the perfect video' every week, I really try and not to put that pressure on myself. :D If you start it one day, please, make sure to inform me about it, the least I can do is to support you! :) (It's scary, I know, but later on you will be so thankful for yourself, I'm sure.)
