This is missing an important step! After importing, right-click the downloaded CSV file and then shift-click on the Delete option to permanently delete (not send to the Recycle Bin) that file which contains all your passwords in plain text.

Helpful. Nov 2024 a few things have changed - for instance when I started a new Google Workspace account, it was smart enough to take me straight into the domain verification step with some new graphics, so I didn't have to manually go there like she did in the demo

Great informative video Nicole. Unfortunately, there is no option to transfer from my Google Wrokspace account to Gmail. When I arrived at the final window in classic mode, the target email address only allows transfer to another Google Workspace email. The "start" button is not active when I keyed in my Gmail address.

Have you had any success getting a hold of customer service? I have a client who wants to use google workspace, created an account, is being charged, but cannot log back in to change her account plan. I am almost ready to get her website live but this email piece we need to resolve. Right now her website is on wordpress, which is forwarding her email to gmail.

I currently have a domain with Godaddy but want to switch to google workspace. Do i need to transfer the domain to google domains (or I guess now is squarespace) first, and then follow these steps? Or should i just follow these steps exactly?

I have emails from absolute ages ago, like, at least 7/8 years ago. Is it possible to migrate ALL of my emails? or is the past year the furthest?

Totally useless after the 12th of September. Some moron thinks everybody has, wants or needs a phone. I don't. So, I am dumping both. My NEW host has an option to login, login with email OR text verification. Not everybody is an international company with lies to hide. Open Office, here I come. Microcrap and godaddy can kiss my toes.

Quick question (for anyone who reads this also)... Where is the setting to delete emails from our mail server once we delete them in the Google Workspace account? NEVERMIND: I quickly realized that the emails no longer go to the old account because they're routed through Google now.

Amazing video!!!! I would suggest adding "(Or Your IMAP Email) to Google Workspace", because that's what a lot of tech and IT people will search for "IMAP to Google Workspace"
