hi, thanks for tuning in. This is my vintage Wrangler 126MJ Denim Jacket. #wrangler #denim #vintagestyle
Now that is an awesomely nice vintage Wrangler trucker jacket. Flawless fade in my opinion.
Size is perfect don't worry 👍
I buy two lee vintage jacket from 80s, new with tags.
What jeans are those? Super cool! I’m looking for some to fit my 506xx jacket
Hi man, thanks for the video, the jacket looks amazing on you ! I was wondering if you could tell me your height and the size of the jacket ? That would be helpful so I could represent myself the dimensions :D
I have 3,one boro shashiko style one ,one storm one and one like yours
I have a Levis shirpa jacket that i love. I also have a late 70's Lee Storm Rider blanket lined jacket. Its in mint contition, courdory coller is completly stain free. Hard to find.
The jacket is visible when I wear it, too small it's very uncomfortable, try a medium or large size, I have 2 jackets, Levis Berkman Black and Levis Stay Loose, very comfortable to wear, but if it's small it's very uncomfortable, when we move anything
Keep up the great work! I like your video format, sort of reminds me of The Iron Snail youtube channel, with nature and stuff.
great condition! where did you get it at this price?
I know in the 1980s the date code was 3 digits (109) =Oct 89
Love to listen to peeps just showcase their clothes, especially jackets, and I get that it’s a bit of a niche, but we really don’t get that quite enough.
Thanks man!!
..not true...if you buy more recent Levis LVC, made in Japan or USA, the quality, of the denim (selvedge), colour and finish is more than likely going to be even better than what you wearing here. (which can also be picked up used, although the price may be more than one usually pays for a used 80/90s regular denim Type 3 like this one.)
Hi, you are right! I should have clarified, I was referring to modern Levi's premium. Their standard denim lineup is not on the same league as LVC. I have a couple of LVC and a 90s made in Japan jacket. They are far superior
I'm so glad that I found this channel, very much looking forward to more denim jacket content!
Thanks!!
The coolest jacket!!
Thanks Michael!!
How tall are you??? Have you soaked or washed the jacket before wearing???? I ask, because the jacket shrinks after a warm soak or wash.
I got this second hand, I believe the previous owner washed it. I am 175cm
@@CalsdenimThank you!!!! Great jacket my friend!!! The jacket fits you very well!!! Vintage style👍
@@anastasio8588 thanks! I got lucky finding this
James Stewart winchester 73 and the far country ...Gregory Peck yellow sky and the The Gunfighter
Cool! I wonder if on Winchester 73 they cut the Levi's tags off his jacket. The buttons also look to be a different colour
The repro its not exactely bat we can chek it out on the gunfighter with Gregory Peck@@Calsdenim
For Sidney dollars?
Seventy sorry lol 😂
$70 NZD = $43 USD
The type II is my desired trucker jacket, but that trucker looks good. Very good price. Congratulations.
Thanks! I would like to find an LVC type 2
best!!!
I need to start collecting more of these jackets!!
I had a wrangler jacket as a youth love it today i was sitting at home thinking how cool i thought I was back in the day my age 72yr old wishing I was young enough to get away with wearing one
i used to wear teenage mutant ninja turtles print denim jeans in acid wash as a 7 year old. bering a 90's kid born 83
Trouser?
i'm glad the type 3 still have same dimention sleeves. slim sleeves is a turn off for me as it looks too medernised and not acurate to the originals.
I am pretty sure your one started off as a raw denim jacket. and i think it was normal to use lighter tone of indigo at the time. even though under the flap u can see darker shades of indigo it would have been originally darker than that since im sure it's been soaked and washed a few times.
man thats a nice jacket you can easily tell it's been made with care compared to what my modern version which is decent but the shape is slightly too modern. your one is how they were originally made except for the hand pockets but you can still see the quality. only way to get something close is to sadly get LVC reproduction which is so badly over priced.
I’m an old guy, I have a Levi jacket my father bought me in 1965.
That is a awesome jacket
Thanks!!
I have lee riders jacket, very so much versatile ,,ilove it❤
Nice, I want to get a Lee Rider Jacket
@@Calsdenim the wrangler you are wearing is a vintage 70s wrangler, liam galagher (oasis) is wearing it💫 it's a rare and iconic item I from indonesia 🇲🇨 Salam hangat🤝
@@vajarharry I found some photos of Liam Gallagher wearing it. I am a big Oasis fan!
@@vajarharry : 100% ....What a lucky find. That particular model is the best 126MJ that was ever released. I have a 70's No fault 126MJ, which is still fairly dark/bold actually, but not quite as cool and detailed as the one that Callum has.
Hi, Callum. A whole classic. Good trucker, congratulations.
Thanks!
Me like denim content
Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you for watching 🙂
the sleeve circumference is quite generous, probably in the 80s the guys liked to go to the gym while the girls did aerobics, i was too young to wear denim jacket in the 80s but in my teenage days in the 90s I never liked denim jacket because of the same reason they have huge sleeve and droopy shoulder, only in the recent raw denim awakening 2000s I got my 1st denim jacket that I like slim on the body and sleeve so I can wear it as mid layer under leather jacket as well, but I can see the easy wearing and perhaps a utilitarian fit made for doing work in it.
Thanks for your comment. Yes I agree the denim jackets of the 2000s are definitely slimmer. I had a black Levi's type 3 which was very tight throughout the arm and shoulder, although it was also longer in the body.
@@Calsdenim yes longer in the body part of the new type3 is something I dislike, i'm pretty skinny on my torso so I buy type3 based on my chest size and hoping for the shortest body possible although the sleeve is usually turns a bit short but for denim jacket I don't mind shortish sleeve since I can wear leather wristband or beads to fill the gap.
Thanks
