There are key words that are important to point out. “if we honour our part of the vow”. “Now the vow will be honoured, and my lord brother’s soul will return. So that he may be my consort” This means the vow more parts being, Miquella’s side, Radahn’s and Malenia’s. I think that Vow is: Part 1. Radahn agreed to be Miquella’s consort ONLY if he can kill him or dies in battle. Due to his honor of battle, he wouldn’t just abandon it in his current life (pre soul exchange). Which brings Malenia into the fold. Her part of the Vow is to kill Radahn. As part of the vow, Radahn held back the stars to stop Ranni. Bc if the stars are left unchecked, Ranni could become too powerful. Or just simply, Radahn doesn’t want to kill his own sister. Especially if they couldn’t manage to kill Radahn (like what happened)! Also, Radahn was a basically a giant. So his motivation could also be to get a smaller body to help his horse too. Or for his horse to become spectral like Torrent.

I would’ve loved if Radahn started the battle with Miquella. Then during the second phase he broke free from Miquella, killing him and absorbing his power. Kinda like Godfrey’s battle when he kills his lion to become stronger.

He won against Melania when he let her prepare herself again for combat. Radahn was simply enjoying the fight. Not struggling. Also, people underestimate how fast Radahn actually is. I mean he could use gravity magic to weigh himself less so he himself can move way faster. But he only does it for leonard. Yet he is pretty darn fast. MANS THE MAIN CHARACTER.

beware of the mana issues with +melee skills. I am doing a leap slam/giants blood variant of this, and mana is a big issue with +2 and +3 melee skills on weapons

I'm level 5 and so far im dealing tons of damage to wet enemy. 50dmg when crit with just ice cantrip, and 144 damage at level 5 with witch bolt!! Crit to wet guys is so much damage, you can paralyze one of the strong enemies and wet the guy with the other or use potions for extra action and boom, deleted with one spell. I still not sure if I make 20 wisdom at level 11 or 16 charisma?

I've always wondered if Miquella's attempt to revive Godwyn through the eclipse ritual had succeeded, if he would have chosen Godwyn as his consort instead. Radahn was known as the strongest demigod of the shattering, which only occurred because of Godwyn's death, and godwyn defeated the ancient dragons, so it leads to believe Godwyn could be stronger than Radahn and thus better for Miquella.

I think there is something else. Miquella says: “Lord brother, I am going to be a god. If we honor our part of the vow, promise me you’ll be my consort” I think when he says he is going to be a god, it’s because some OTHER vow was honored.
