As far as I see, in America the Vietnamese people didn’t teach about kings and ancestors of their people but the flag of the last nation during 1919-1975. Only in Vietnam that the people learned a tiny bit about cultures of Vietnamese identity. However, Vietnamese is an ethnic group of main land China, but we didn’t teach our people of ancient ancestors in China to the Vietnamese people. This point of views show that when we talk about Vietnamese people, we only speak up to 18 generations of kings before the time of 1000 years of slavery. Let be generous 18 generations of kings = 1,800 years + 1000 years of slavery + 1000 years of current civilization = 3,800 years. As a whole Asian people, we have 10,000 historical calculated from China history. So never go around and say Vietnamese alone has 20,000 years. It is a lie.

@@VerityTales- Really! While the other main countries still exist, it is part of their history too. Turkish history in the region began from 1453. Greeks and Armenians also have multilayered history there. Armenian history goes back to Hittites. Changing the geographical names of the region in order to erase the history of the countries still existing is falsification of history at its best. In Great Britain they do not call what is left of Roman Wall English history. Even though, Western Roman Government does not exist. They call it Roman History and Romans built those walls. Especially because we know the Seljuk Turks and Mongols natives of the East and Far East started moving (attacking) Persia and moving West through Persia in 11-12 centuries AD. Or, for example, the would call the residents of Artsakh (Karabagh) occupiers/ separatist. Armenians have been living in Artsakh for more than 2000 years. It was Joseph Stalin who separated them and put them under a country which celebrated its 104th Anniversary in May 2022. A people who have lived on their land for more than 2,000 years and separatists/occupiers. EU has problem in understanding the meaning of those words. Also, nobody is blaming today's Turks for what Ottoman Turks did. Even some very brave and honourable Turks who wrote about about Armenian genocide had to flee their country because of extremists.
