Inspection Hammer by Argon Tool
Argon Tool's inspection hammer is designed to quickly indent ID and Quality Control marks with just a swing of the hammer. It's head has two sockets for interchangeable steel stamps that simply slide into place. No tools are required to change or remove steel stamps (sold separately). One hammer end slot holds a 3/8" diameter x 1" long steel stamp with a character size up to 1/4" tall.
The opposite side hammer end slot holds a 1/2" diameter x 1" long steel stamp with a character size up to 3/8" tall.
Stamps are available with letters, numbers or symbols engraved on them. STAMPS SOLD SEPARATELY.

Marking jewelry blanks with large, and very detailed Impressart logo stamp. The Stamp Perfect SSP Pneumatic has more than enough power to deeply indent the wreath logo into jewelry blanks. Air pressure regulator provided with the machine is set at 90 pounds of pressure. Simply dial the air pressure down for a lighter hit and less depth of mark.

Does this always give a good clean impression on larger stamps? Having trouble with other presses when using larger stamps.

The engraving on the stamp determine the alignment of the letters. The Stamp Perfect SSP will provide consisting stamping pressure in the same location/orientation. Will this work with Curved stamps??
If you are referring to hand stamps engraved on a radius to mark the inside of rings, and you are now successfull marking with them using a hammer, yes it will work. FYI.....Titanium and carbide rings can not be marked.
Can a 1 or 2 gallon air compressor work?

It will work with a 1 or 2 gallon compressor, however we would recommend a 3 gallon.
Only four numbers stamping time is 6 minutes..!!!... Very very slow and boring..

I’m in the Uk and can’t find anything similar to this, it’s a hefty price if your new to stamping metal I have arthritis so a hammer for me isn’t an option either can’t find anything other than a basic arbor press?
What a shame they are so expensive, puts it out of my reach for business. Im researching just a basic cheapo harbor freight press as an alternative
You may save more money than you think using the right tool for the job.
It is expensive. I saved and saved groc. money and birthday money and I finally got one. It took me a while of course. I'm just a stay at home crafter for fun. It was worth it. Ease of use is awesome. Love it! Steel Stamps provided great service too.
I bought a cheap one and am so discouraged that I want to quit, I wish I had waited a minute taken a breath saved some more money, and bought this one. I hope the previous response won't encourage the company to cut costs and change the quality of the product. The wrong tool is usually more expensive emotionally and financially. Oh yeah, pretend I'm funny I've got an excellent arbor press to sell you, hardly used.
Great product! It’s not a maker’s responsibility to make their hard work “affordable to all.” Quality is worth something. It’s up to us as customers to save for whatever is valuable to us. You get what you pay for.

REVIEW - Purchased this in January of 2021. I make Aluminum and Copper Golf Ball markers, soft metals. I purchased both of their presses (the hand one which was not strong enough for my needs) and then upgraded to the pneumatic press as I was ordering custom stamps from them and was told I would need much more force. In the end, the pneumatic press was a very easy to use machine, however, for larger stamps, it was unable to produce clean impressions in Aluminum for me, the stamps are probably too big, small ones worked great. I tried troubleshooting with Argon numerous times, and their customer service was there every step of the way to try and troubleshoot and get it to work correctly. In the end, I couldn't get it to work well enough to justify the cost so had to return it. Once again customer service was very responsive and helped me get the machine back to them and received a credit. I will still use them to make custom stamps for future needs for sure, high quality stamps are not easy to find.
do you recommend their ssu for aluminum, copper, brass ....was it easy to stamp ?
@@safa1586 soft metals like this will definitely work better. Small stamps for sure. I had bought it for big stamps that were too big for me to hammer well, and had mixed results, but for normal sized stamps it worked well.
