I've personally always had a passion for watching the garbage trucks out my window since I was little, and over the years, I've gotten to know all of the awesome drivers that collect my cans. After watching tons of other channels documenting the refuse industry and filming garbage trucks on route, I finally decided to start doing just that myself! During the three year period that I lived in Stinson Beach, California, I began taking videos of the Ex-North Bay Corp. Recology Sonoma Marin trucks that came to my area every week, during the pandemic. Since then, I branched out around the Bay Area and more recently greater West Coast - currently living and filming trucks in Washington. To put it simply, myself and everyone else who you can find on UA-cam with similar channels find enjoyment in watching garbage trucks (and talented drivers) perform their work!

Recology Marin County's Sterling Condor Labrie Automizer Split Body in the Countryside
Right before school started in summer 2022, I was out in Point Reyes Station north of San Francisco for trash day, and was able to get some footage of Victor on his Monday route! Since moving away from Stinson Beach over two years ago now, my opportunities to film this truck and see my drivers were few, so I was glad to film more of what started my channel for one last time! I have some older footage from these same streets before the cart rollout, but this was filmed after the newer Toters had been around for close to 10 months. It was a great day to run around town and grab shots of my favorite truck in action, and I hope you all enjoy the video! Thanks to Victor for always allowing me to tag along and record! :)

Republic Services has switched from Autocar to Peterbilt for the Salem yard, so all their new trucks are 520s. I'd estimate 40% of the trucks they run are Autocar still

I've never had space to keep large carts due to renting and constantly moving, so they bit the dust. I rescued 10 total carts from the rollout and gave them to other Bay Area filmers though

Thanks! Seattle forced WM to re-wrap all of their trucks here with a different slogan, so this is what they chose. The cityscape outline has been consistent for recent years; the phrase changed from "Breathe Clean, Seattle" to "Working Together For A Sustainable Tomorrow"
How many mini trucks are required for WMs area of the city? Always neat to see footage of the trucks that service the strange roads and driveways that most people never see. Can’t wait for the trash video!
Appreciate the comment from you Axel! WM services about exactly half of Seattle with Recology doing the other, I5 is the route border. I'm not sure of the number of these trucks in WM's fleet, or that are out on route a certain weekday - my guess would be four-six each day. Four on non-recycle weeks and six on recycle weeks, 3 trucks per route. Videos of these trucks aren't super entertaining lol but fairly unique to see

Haha yeah man. Surreal to film and try to save carts at the same time. I only grabbed one compost cart, a 64 WM Icon, which to this day is still in Stinson Beach waiting for someone to pick it up

man everytime i see a new rollout video, i hate myself for not filming the rolout here, and also for not taking any cans. Now im more determined than ever to grab what I can. Thanks for documenting this rollout extensively! And for saving bins. was the rollout due to contact reasons?
Recology decided it was time to have their logo on the carts in the places they'd been servicing for almost four years before this rollout. Ideally the burgundy WMX carts would be replaced with green ones but funny enough all the burgundy carts except for one never were replaced. My pleasure to document the rollout as best I could - took two Wednesdays off school and spent both filming all day! Was tough to save bins since I couldn't store them long term but I managed to keep 10 carts and distribute them to other Bay Area enthusiasts.
Sad to see the old wm cascades go. Anyway, it was cool to see this documented Spencer. Great video as always!
