Gold detecting patch in central Victoria May 2013
What are your settings please?
Brilliant stuff, well done 👍
Mate the 17 x 13 is the best coil I have ever had. Surprisingly good on tiny pieces and shot one inch deep and so good at lifting deeper targets. Go over someone’s old patch or raking if you come across it and you will get missed targets with the coil.
Awesome to see someone else still using a 17x13 evo 👌👌
After 2 years in the Northern Territory....ALL THE COILTEK COILS LEADS TURN INTO DOG SHIT....
Your persistence and hard work is inspirational. Well done.
Is it possible that there is undetected ground in Victoria?, i find it hard to believe especially in a rich area like Maldon, not accusing you of anything just find it very hard to believe, i mean they are shallow chunks that a $10 detector would scream on, that nobody has tried that area is astonishing to me!!!
I hear what you are saying and agree that this little slope and gold run was a random and rare thing to find these days. The site looked so much better on the top and other side of the hill, and you could see others had walked over it and picked out targets (not gold) I only walked down the other side walking out with my dogs, back to my car about 800 meters away. Remember, this little run was only the size of a double garage, and I could have walked straight through it if I had not picked up the first and, yes, easily detected first nugget.I am sure others may have walked through this over the years and dismissed the ground as ordinary.
I know that voice! G day Mick, nice one.
That’s what dreams are made of mate! I hope you’ve cleaned out that hill! The whispering adds to the drama. Awesome stuff 👍✨👍
Nice Nuggie mate🤜
Awesome!! Well done fellas
Magic piece
Good looking patch there Buddy..
Cheers,
verry nice mate i just got back from a moring swing got a nice bit of lead . ah well nex time .... gpx4500. bendigo
For every nugget there would be 30 + lead shot. If the leads still in the ground the area has not been detected by others properly.
Nice gold. You should make more videos
Cheers Steve. My dogs encourage me to go walking and we often just go patch hunting together, so I have dedicated a youtube channel to them. I will definately post more information about the techniques etc. Enjoy "Two Dogs Prospecting" adventures ua-cam.com/channels/0uo21jG1xYEfiV7li2SP8Q.html

💝💝💝💝
You're rich!
sounds not consistent either another give away FYI
Ant hill there brother try ground balancing it next to the spot run no tracking and hold button pump next to area and go over it if its not sharp and sounds like a winging misses walk away
Okey aylavyu qold👍👍👍👍👍👍🖕👌👌👌🤙🤙🤙✊✊✊👏👏💣💣💣😀
Really nice nugget. Shows there are still big ones out there, just got to put in the hours swinging the coil. Hope there are more in the area for you
Cool vid
Whooeeaah, music to any one ears. Still waiting on my first ebay detector, should arrive in one or two days, will see how long the enthusiasm will last. Excellent vid, keepem coming. Mitta Valley retire.
Awesome mate😀😀
great job,I just got the 18" mono elite for my 4000.are you running in deep?
I was not in this instance. Only second time out and getting used to how it handled in basically factory settings for fine.
Spelled THEIRS wrong mates.
Hey Deano what machine would you recommend for someone with a 3 k budget that wants to chase gold between jobs? was this a GPX 4500 with a 18 inch coiltek?
yep i feel your pain ,had the same happen , thinking about using a d coil and flicking between double d and mono not sure if will work but i am willing to give up a bit of depth
Nice bit. Those 18" Coils are amazing. The last 2 months I've cleaned up 3 ounces with mine. Ranging from 0.50gm bits up to 2 bits that were 16gm's. Ground coverage is fantastic yet the larger coil still seems to ping the small ones.
Wou big nuget gold.
Yes it is! I use the Garrett AT PRO (orange) with the 4500 and it interferes even when switched off, i dont think the minelab pointer disturbs the GPX when switched off is this correct ?
Well Done
Nice piece, good that you don't put the weight in the video description, spoils the video a bit when people do it
Nice one chief! Can you tell me if your pin pointer interferes with the GPX at all ?
Yes it does, very annoying.
The 18 inch is a bit harded to learn than the 14 inch is.
I'll be taking my 18 out next week .To sniff out large deep pieces was thinking normal general?
nice mate.did u find out what that silver chunk was ?
coiltek elite. 14 inch. cheers
What Coiltek coil was it found with. Thxs ? ? ?
Awesome
wow mate rippa and nice display case too.well done
I'm very skint. can only afford a pinpointer. can I use this alone for finding nuggets at least until I get a proper detector?
Great vids mate, are you working gentle sloped ground (flat), top of a rise, thanks
Well done guys, what an amazing find, so close to that track too! Thanks for sharing and keep these awesome vids coming hey! Cheers
What a monster find. Well done boys!
