10 signs box turtle in the yard and proceeds to follow him at approximately the same speed. So quick of the end of the dramatic chase.

8 Week Old English Mastiff vs Green Squeaky Ball
Hell yeah the only video I've seen where it shows the alternator come out. Doing my 99 Deville this week
There's a tricky bolt you're going to have to reach around carefully to get to. Good luck!!!
I literally think that he is asia A c6 till i see him stand up😂
Hey man hope youre still active, does anything have to be removed to get it from the bottom?
Anything you can get a socket wrench over... If you want to make it easy, then just take out the radiator. Best guess. But it's been a while.
I have to replace an alternator on a 99' DeVille.. with so many videos on the removal.. which in all honesty is the best and most efficient way to getting the job done?
Is it another video you front the start to I see this is a finishing part
Now try vice versa
Could a sliding board be used or would it cause a problem?
what type car you're working on
Did u take the subframe out to take that buick lucerne altonator out on that v8 northstar
Same problem I'm facing now
man you're taking forever you might as well took the radiator out
northstar are the shit engines of all time
nice dude.......i m also sci patient and here are my every videos regarding spinal code inqury ... ua-cam.com/channels/8LRPUlY6pNuRQ0PfBi_7Xw.html
Well done 👍🏻! I love 💗 to see this style training. Very well mannered dogs. Gorgeous colorings.
Although my English-skills unfortunately are quite low, I can´t hold back to write this comment :) : Watching this video for the first time, I missed 20 seconds at the beginning on-screen and was just listening to the conversation and instructions. Otherwise, I would have noticed "the patient isn´t moving like a quad and he also uses is arms/hands". As a wheeler (but not a quad), I was completely focus on (t)his task - almost cheering something like "Keep going !" aloud in front of my computer :) ! At 5:41 when he finally reached a seated position, I noticed that his right leg was just about to "fall off the table" and thought "Awww, NO!, please - if this is going to happen, it might/will throw him completely out of balance !" So the fact that I never expected his skills at 6:00 prove, both of you did an awesome job here :) ! Thanks for sharing ! Greetings, all the best and lots of Love from Germany !
thats no good man your are banging the crap out of the radiator
ZelosZelo radiator was completely fine
well yes, this time, what about all the novices trying to do this? or next time when you get one thats weak from age or whatever...its not a good practice to be hitting the radiator with parts is what im saying. In my opinion its one of those thought process that separates professionals from diy or someone thats just trying to get er done as quick and cheaply as possible. I prefer a mechanic that takes the appropriate amount of time to do things, esp on a Cadillac where its very easy to end up costing yourself extra $ and time by busting something by trying to fix something.
ZelosZelo well next time I'm broken down in shit ass Texas you're welcome to come do it for me.
@@ZelosZelo I'm sure the radiator still works fine to this day.
idiot disconnect the battery cables 👎😎 cadillac piece of shit👎😎.
Dude. You are STILL helping people with this vid. I'm a complete amateur when it comes to auto repairs and was cringing at what had to be done to get this out through the top. Found this vid and tried it. Only took about an hour and a half, and I'm a novice at all this! You saved me a lot of time and, as many have mentioned, busted knuckles. Thanks for posting this vid!
Did you notice any radiator damage days/weeks afterwards?
Nope, never gave us any issues.@@smiddy434
i have to do mind soon. im going to hate doing this..
99 deville alternator..all bolts removed..having trouble getting it out through the access panel..pass. fan removed..does not "fall out" as some have mentioned..should pulley side be down, toward ground or up..don't want to force it.....
cooool
That looks like a freakin' knuckle buster. OUCH!
Yes it can be but its not the only engine to be this way. There is always something that is knuckle buster on every engine ever made. Its just the shear size of this engine that makes it look hard to do.
I just did one today with my small mobile repair business. It will come out but go slow to not damage the radiator. Mine pretty much fell out by spinning the alternator were the base is facing the ground and of course the drive pulley will be facing up if your under the car
Is that one of the Pups you posted in 2014? Cool Dog Man.
Kevin Keller Nah. this is dad. The pups are all doing well though,
What an unlikely friendship. Cool Man.
I have 95 Aurora I have to take the damn alternator out to have it rebuilt. damn this is gonna suck!!!
Just use patience and you will be fine. :)
AMCNorthstar 93 I love the cars but man I wanna meet the designer. ya know just to put my hands around his neck. lol. my problem was the damn ignition switch! after all the money I spent! guys if you have no start no crank check your ignition switch please! it have save u a ton of money.
Hondo T Well your talking to someone that had family in making these cars and also I know one someone that was on the Northstar design team. The only reason that its a little more difficult to get your hands in places is mainly because of the size of the motor. It really takes up a lot of space being a 32 valve V8. It's the same with Lincoln and the rest.
thanks for the laugh....now its my turn...:(
Wow , excellent presentation , Thank u so much Sir
did a head gasket job on my 97 Eldorado let me tell you that shit wasn't fun ... bleed , sweat ,cursing
Did you pull the engine out from the top or out the bottom of the car?? A lot of people don't realize that the engine can be pulled straight up disconnected from the transmission and makes it much easier to work on. Dropping the sub frame is the hard way.
Northstar motor is a bitch to work on
Some things are. It's mostly its shear size that makes it a little more challenging to work on but it can be done. You just need patience and you will be fine.
Very helpful thank you for the video
I'm tired of busted knuckles. I wear mechanics gloves and now I wonder why I didn't years ago!
plate and a lot of wires. bolts holding the thing in. my ac clutch seized driving down the road a couple months after this. I was able to run a belt through the engine and skip the AC all together. that was a good idea.
If I ever meet the person or persons ( this thing seems to have been designed by a committee of idiots.) who designed the Northstar engine I will slap them in the face.
This is not the only engine with the alternator mounted where it is. There are numerous other engines with alternators mounted in places that are much harder to get out. It's mounted in a good place but its just the shear size of the engine that makes it seem hard to get at. These are excellent engines and I have family that helped build these engines in Livonia Michigan.
other than the bottom plate did you have to take anything else off or apart I think have to replace my alternator in my 01 eldorado my service charging system warning came on my dad had to replace an ac belt in before I got it is it all one belt
There should be nothing else. Only the small access plate and the right cooling fan are the only two items necessary to remove. And the alternator then just slides on out.
They really are beautiful
That's brilliant lol, I have an old family red nose pitbull x dogue de bordeaux and she used to be like this, now she'll catch anything. Even if I'm eating something and she's nearby, she's there if I drop something before it even hits the floor
took me like 30 mins to figure out this puzzle
I like your technique!! Very helpful for this PTA student! :) Thank you for posting ~
AmbidexJess1 Happy to help.
looking for the whole process....
Anthony Turitto denverlancaster.com/97-cadillac-deville-alternator-removal/
Thank you.
good luck
I have a buddy who owns a shop. He has a lift...of course. Going to let him take this one on.
Thanks.
yeah now you have to put the new one back in.. shit
Seventh Universe Took half the time. :)
Denver Lancaster shut up
Oh no an extra minute...
Your minutes are obviously worth very little. ;)
So I replaced my radiator but it doesn't have the line for alternator cool
Ass whole!
Memories ...c4 quad.. I never had someone that talked that much. Good thing you had no questions. Pivot .. nose over toes .. go well with rocking momentum. You could face that bed .. put both feet down& together .. lean forward .. nose over toes ..rock ..pivot .. sit. Hands on the object transferring to .. or one on the seat . Using the back of the hand is a must for me . I'm curious if those with non damaged hands would prefer it over the palm. I couldn't hear if he mentioned height .. seat to object needs it and not a soft couch .. cuz you'll find it hard to lift up lol. Sink. I learned using the arm of the couch or a blanket to push upward..off from .. put my hand higher than the butt . Placed other hand on my wheelchair seat or arm rest. (Power wc) .. make a lazy susan out of wood, put grip tape over areas your feet are traced on the wood .. helps to learn pivoting . Heeled shoes don't stick.. Exercise ball is great for trunk control . Supervised. My pt put me on my knees on a pt mat/table. Abdominal was over the yoga ball. He shifted me side to side ..back N fourth . Knees will freak. I think our knees get missed As a crucial area to use. Bare weight on knees it helps many areas. Especially since we sit so long in a bent knee position. You can use the bed as a good spot to try. Hard surfaces freak my paralysis. That gait belt .. I so dislike them. They cause a stimulus. Like any thing binding. They are a false sense of protection. Had a nurse drop me as she grabbed it vs me.
I was all into it till I saw him walk off the bed lol im a c5-6 incomplete so ima try though I always get stuck on the final step 😪
We were students at the time doing a video-skills-check for physical therapy school. We've both graduated, and are licensed therapists now, if that's any consolation! I DO use this technique with patients. It does work. Strength in your serratus anterior muscles will help get things moving if it is not severely impacted by your injury. You need a lot of anterior deltoid strength to straighten the elbow once you've placed your wrist (5 min 29 sec into the video), and a lot of biceps and wrist extension strength in the wrist pulling from behind the knee. Strong lats (latissimus dorsi) will help with balance once you're sitting. TL:DR Strengthen the anterior deltoids, biceps, and wrist extensors a lot. Wish you the best of luck. You'll get it, just keep working. And always practice something like this with the help of a professional to assist - shameless self plug for my profession. -d
🙈😝 cool tnx
First thing DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!
lower right side of engine cradle then remove alternator . he,s risking a radiator gash
Take your time look like some good s*** to me
No need to lower engine cradle. Just remove the small access panel and maybe the right cooling fan and it then drops on out.
Good shit man
did you have to separate the body from the subframe to get it out of the bottom?
No?
ugh!!!! all i see are 99s & 97s. DAMNIT!!!!!! i need 2004s! lol. jk
It's true! He isn't really C6. Or C anything. We were physical therapy students when we made this for feedback in a course. I assure you, though, that the steps and the movement is how someone who is C6 ASIA A would move from prone to long-sit with enough practice. I've used it in the clinic since graduating in my instruction to patients.
