I loved the early seasons of SpongeBob. And then I notice with the latest seasons, there's no magic that makes me want to watch... This was like Rick and morty. The early seasons were so great but as the DEI corrupted the industry, I can see the changes of the flow of the story. It's not about Rick and morty anymore. It's all about feminism and the show became so lame and very sterile when it comes to the comedic approach.. it's not edgy anymore. It's so dull and forceful that you can't watch it anymore Miss the old days

As someone who loves watching SpongeBob, you have done an excellent job with this analysis. Many people call this a kids show, but I feel that adults can relate to many of these episodes as well. It’s sad to see that this show has lost its spark as new episodes came out and I think it is because it’s no longer focusing on “real life issues” and is instead focusing on funny and contorted facial expressions. This is no hate to the new creators and artists of SpongeBob btw, I just don’t feel that connection to the new episodes compared to the classics from s1-s3. Either way, I was fully invested in this analysis and I believe this is your strong suit! You popped up on my page and I am glad that I clicked and watched your video. i usually never comment on videos, but i have to say that i will probably never see other spongebob analysis videos the same way ever again after this as this has completely blown me away in what is honestly the best, most genuine and heartfelt analysis of this show i've ever seen. it's all compiled and discussed so well, with great use of subtitles too. as an avid fan of this shows characters, especially squidward and spongebob's dynamic with each other, i really felt that your own love for this show and squidward as a character really shines through in this video, it's contagious. looking forward to seeing more from you dude :)

Hi there, I just want to say that Squidward is also my favorite as I feel I can relate, I too can get annoyed with life's challenges givin' my disability of vision impairment (I've been like this all my life from birth onward), and I am a "Sponge boomer" as many seem to call it here. I will always adore S1-3, the first film, and half of season four, for me downfall was S6 through to now and maybe onward (depending of the episode). Anyway, Squidward and I kinda have some of the same talents, as I too adore art and music. I kinda know how you feel Mr. Tentacles. However I'm up there with Spongebob when it comes to utilizing my imagination. I'm a very creative, artsy, imaginative person, something similar to Spongebob. However that doesn't mean I don't get annoyed from time to time. I dislike my fun being ruined as I love to LARP and Roleplay (Live action roleplay), I never got to go to any LARP con (except for Mega con 2018) due to my disability. For me I seen from Help Wanted onward and I guess that I was probably 5 or six years old in 1999 (I was born 93) it's tricky to remember my first viewing age exact, but I loved it and still do. However seasons six onward do leave alot to be desired. I feel when it comes to Squidward though, I bet we would have a mutual understanding to some degree. He's one of those 'realistic' characters that you bond with, in a way that's relatable. I feel that with Spongebob and Squidward, as again, I am imaginative, but I don't like my fun being ruined by others. Thank you for this, this was a well done essay. Mrs. Puff would be proud.

That introduction is incredibly well put together, could have made an excellent video essay in its own right. As for leading episodes, I would absolutely say Patrick leads the episode Big Pink Loser, since that one opens on Patrick. Debatably I’m With Stupid, since the conclusion of that episode focused on Patrick since SpongeBob leaves and doesn’t return, but SpongeBob is just as important in that one, so I’m not as sure of that one. Of course, this doesn’t do anything to discredit anything you say. 1/2 episodes as the main character for Patrick doesn’t change the fact Squidward is a very focused on character and Patrick is the comic relief sidekick who works better as a side piece than the main focus. And for the video as a whole, it’s a wonderful analysis of Squidward as a character. In fact, the ending speech was pretty inspiring on the whole. Fantastic video, bravo.

If taki was in takaki’s position you know very damn well taki would move heaven and earth just to see Akari instead of giving up and losing that connection. It also helps that We may not expect people to love us unconditionally, but we ourselves can love them unconditionally.
