@@_RMF_ it’s possible that mods alter vanilla spawning mechanisms. But I’d double check that there are indeed no platforms outside of natural living wood walls. The key word is natural, meaning you can’t craft them. Craftable walls don’t work.

@ you could if your version of skyblock had a natural living wood wall block. Some do.

@@infinity001plus1 won’t work. If your world has no natural living wood walls left, your only option is using natural dirt walls at the surface level to spawn gnomes but it’s not very effective as many other mobs will spawn

Yeah it does, about 5-6 tiles, so that gnomes can jump over but friendly critters fall down. It also prevents slimes from spawning

@@aphy460 there’s no special craftable living wood wall, unfortunately. Can’t craft like spider or sandstone walls

@@moxusgaming6404 after building the farm i placed a bed ina small room right next to where the player is supposed to stand, the room obviously has wooden walls. Could that possibly be the issue? I removed all platforms that didn't have naturally spawned living wood walls behind but slimes are still coming ;-;

@@thedelver4462 probably missed a spot somewhere, maybe far offscreen. Don’t forget that mobs can spawn 64-86 tiles away from you horizontally and up to around 48-49 vertically

@@mesquiteaviationstatue spawned mobs when killed by lava won’t drop loot, except for slime statue. Your best bet is to use summons to kill those mobs.

True, hoiks work, it’s just I’ve been trying really hard not to use them. Just because the devs decided to call the originally unintended mechanics a “feature”, due to substantial coding overhead required in order to fix it, doesn’t mean I accept it. Hoiks are being abused too much, mostly for cheap cheese, to the point that many public servers ban those as cheats. But you’re right, hoiks speed up the process. However, even with optimal teleporters setup you won’t be getting much of an advantage sadly…

@@Uforianer yeah, maybe. Point is hoiks make a lot challenging fights effortless and allow cheesing content. The game is already almost too easy.

@@boredindahouse4818 there should be no blocks for slimes to spawn on if you do it right. Remove all blocks they spawn on.

You need the dangerous variant. I think you can shimmer it like spider wall to get the natural variant but I'm not 100% certain. He's just showing how to do it day 1. If you're setting this up with shimmer or later stuff it's much easier.

Try zooming out your ui scale.

If you keep distance and keep moving at high speed around 60mph, the minions can't do anything to you, they are left behind. Also, make sure your arena is made of platforms high above ground so that projectiles don't bounce back up and hit you.

I didnt know because i fought Queen slimes only 2 Times and then Started to fight her more offen in my Summoner playthrou and after Hearing that Queen slime fight is easy i got wery frustrated and didnt know why peaple call IT easy

They spawn both during day and night. But make sure that you have adequate distance between yourself and the spawning area. There are rules IIRC it's 64-86 blocks from the player. Also, they need to have a clear line of sight towards you so that they can start moving in your direction. Other than that, max out spawn rates and eliminate all other spawns. If you have a radar and lifeform analyzer you should be ONLY seeing gnomes spawn, nothing else.

Iron skin, endurance, wrath, rage, tipsy, food, heartreach, lifeforce. This isn't even max loadout in terms of dps / toughness.

Having said that, every single world should have more than one statue of every kind. If your world is large, there are should be at least 4 undead viking statues. Just use spelunker pots with max mining speed and you can find one really fast.

Actually you can get wires pre every single boss and everything if you find a dart trap and place a statue next to the trap it will automatically turn on
