The very end scene where the judge askes to see who is under the cover, revealed to be the judges daughter, and the bench collapses, that is the funniest part to me

This is The best comedy ever filmed. Watch the whole thing the first chance you get. Give it your undivided attention. It moves quick.

Truly one of the classic comedies. I saw it with my college roommates in 1972, and I had to step out for a minute to catch my breath. We were laughing so hard, I thought I might pass out 🤣 The jokes and sight gags just didn’t stop!

The only this missing is O’Neal saying “that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard” when Barbra said love means never having to say you’re sorry!!

I was today years old when I discovered that Liam Dunn (Judge Maxwelll) had never acted before this. He was a casting director, but what a brilliant asset to the film he was. He also appeared in Blazing Saddles.

4:00-I love the overly zealous fireman just breaking down the first door he sees! 🤣 Then all the firemen being stopped by the length of the fire hose! Complete chaos at its best! I think the closest thing that matched this moment was the cold opening to the episode in The Office (US version) when Dwight "tests" the office staff to see if they follow emergency procedures.

Barbra talks so fast when explaining what kind of rocks she likes. They left out her singing bit. Loved this 70's comedy.
