We are the Hill family. We live on a small homestead in the Uwharrie Mountains of central North Carolina. We like to tackle projects around the homestead as a family, as we stomp around 13 Acres on 134.
My brother, Hank Hill, and I (yes that's his real name) can be found searching the countryside for vintage tractors, farm equipment and most things antique. We also attend a lot of farm and estate auctions, and we try to film them in a fun and comedic way.
Our hope is that we can teach our children essential life skills, point them to Christ, and bring glory to God in all we do.

They didn't auction it until towards the end and I was filming another part of the park, so I missed it. Not sure what it went for.

This is at White's Salvage Yard in Germanton, NC. They have a lot of Fords too.

"Not a lot of resources" Casually uses back hoe. Us peasant folk don't have back hoe's at our disposal. But I must admit. The c clamp was the best idea you had during the making of this video.
C clamps: As soon as I saw that 👍. Literally looking for something besides a 2x4 with a notch. Which works. But not always thx

@@carolinahillcountry I was actually spraying some soybeans and didn’t make it to the auction til the very end. I videoed a little throughout the week, but not sure I have enough to make a video entertaining enough to hassle with. We sold a few things at the auction, actually the old JD 110 parts mowers were mine. IPFarms is another local UA-camr and he was there as well.

Every time I see an estate auction I can't help but think that less is more. The older I get the less I really want in material things and the more I simply appreciate time with family, friends, and good food. Time with dad those girls will always appreciate!
I agree. More barns to store more stuff. I do look for the things I need at a good price though. The only things we can take with us into eternity are our loved ones. Everything else will rot or burn up.

I bought one last week. The oil has to be changed every 20 hours. It has to warm up for five minutes before you add a load. You can't let it run out of gas when it has a load attached. You have to remove the load before turning it off.
