My uncle went to university with those guys. I mean soul, funk, disco and boogie is my thing since the early 80s and this track (if we forget the lyrics for a sec😆 went straight up there on my list (after thousands and thousands of tracks heard in these genres). Some similarities with the wibe and voice of Glenn Jones on his debut mini-LP from 1983 in my mind.
@@PatrikStarFunk it is truly amazing! I would recommend having a play with suno to anyone as its great fun. I write lyrics first in a text document until I'm happy, then paste them into the app, then use prompts such as (for example) "1980, smooth jazz, upbeat, modal, disco, male vocals" that kinda thing, then generally push create a few times before I have a version I want to use, sometimes the AI gets it very wrong though, which can be incredibly funny🤣 or sometimes it sounds like modern insurance advert music or something, but when it gets it right, it is truly amazing!
