Look I'm Ethiopian. But I think this push to show off Addis is premature. It's literally a work shop outside arat kilo and bole, like a lot of the city is not built yet and in construction. It's by no means highly developed but it is brimming with potential. Can we be more honest or are we going to follow the chinese with glitzy cut corners and led light cities that break apart in 15 years. Highly developed is about functionality and depth of public infrastructure. We're nowhere near that, it's literally a new flower, stop saying it's ripe.

Be informed, have not seen Sarit , Roslyn Riviera, TRM, Westgate, Yaya center, Village market, The hub Karen,Gallarie, Garden City, all of which are way bigger than Tanzanian and Ugandan malls.
