Art of Action

Life is an adventure, full of experiences and excitement. I'm just a human practicing the art of these things, occasionally sharing videos that check those boxes.
The Lean of Faith - The Mace, Sedona
After fighting through offwidth, you get to experience what was probably one of the most fun climbing moves I have ever done. You must lean out to a wall over a 100'+ gap.
Remember to eat your wheaties for this one, the offwidth was tough.

The Mace, Sedona - Climb and Jump
Переглядів 13711 місяців тому
If you climb this route, remember to eat your wheaties! While on a trip to AZ, my buddy and I were climbing in Prescott, and decided to change plans and head to Sedona on a whim, after feeling good about my leading. In a span of about 12 hours, we had decided to change plans from camping in Prescott to going to Sedona, and found ourselves at the base of The Mace. After taking most of the day to...
Tennessee Caving - Rappel and sketchy ladder climb
Переглядів 157Рік тому
Today's adventure is a cave in Tennessee, where we waded through water, climbed a sketchy ladder, and rappelled about 50 feet, to find a registry and an area where it looks like people have left nick knacks over the years. Also, I promise to buy a better flashlight ;)
Rappelling Into Geronimo's Cave
Переглядів 78 тис.3 роки тому
Rappelling into the depths of Geronimo's Cave was a neat experience, with more of the cave still waiting to be explored. Thanks to Val and Eric for joining me on this adventure This video is not intended to be instructional in any way. If you repeat the actions of this video, you do so at your own risk.
Some people are just very unhappy with their lives
A lot are. Many of the people who seek things like this know how to enjoy it more though 🤙
was hoping to see you do this without pro haha
Haha maybe next time 😉
Misericórdia! Vocês não ficam com medo de ficar entalados nos buracos apertados?
CAVES GIVES ME THE CREEPS ...PEOPLE DIED ALIVE IN CAVES STUCKED BETWEEN ROCKS...THE NUTTY PUDDY CAVE GUY DIED A HORRIBLE DEATH , HE GOT STUCKED BETWEEN ROCK AND DIED SLOWLY IN THE DARK DEEP IN THE CAVE...I DO NOT WANT TO EVER DIED THAT WAY...GO LOOK AT THE NUTTY PUDDY CAVE GUY IF YOU HAVE THE GUTS...
MUST OF BEEN HARD FOR THE SOLDIERS TO FIND JERONIMO HIDING IN A CAVE, BUT HE HAD TO COME OUT FOR FOOD
Might have been a decent video but fk that music sucked and was painful. Would have rather listened to the cave sounds you hear in real cave exploring vids.
Imagine he didn't have a flashlight
How many geronimo caves are there? I no of one on the white mountain Apache reservation, and one in Tucson and one around young ariz.😮
*Promosm*
Absolutely epic view awesome vid brother! Take me with you next time
Yessir balls of steel
Cool climb man
I would be overjoyed if you shared the location of this cave with me. Pretty please.
where is the sound where is the sound ?
Great trip NSS 7276
Just a really small version of Carlsbad Caverns. Okay I haven't been back to Carlsbad Caverns for 42 years and things might have changed since the Jimmy Carter Days.
😎👍👍👍
Deathly afraid of spiders.... looks like a great place for a snake to hide too. Would love to search the area outside. I’m a pussy.
Haha it's not that bad. Last time I went in there there were a few crickets and one or two daddy long legs. Haven't seen a snake yet although it's definitely possible!
Xtra batteries?
Always! I bring extra batteries and two extra lights
I like the video but that music is horrible it sounds like a 1970s p**** flick background
I'm glad big homie didn't try to squeeze his barrel chest through those tight spots.
Is the area still full of litter? Last time I was out there, we packed out a ton of trash.
I can't speak to the current state of the cave, as I am no longer nearby it, but as of a year ago, it was relatively clean!
@@artofaction Cool. I hate litterbugs. My scout troop cleaned that place on several occasions.
mud... next video coming in 2025?!?!?
Mud is definitely a big part of caving... I intend to start uploading around once a month!
They said that Geronimo cave runs for miles from one place to some where else far away
hey ozzy this is kelly, we met at the last CXC race. just wanted to say ive picked up an adventure bike! call if ya wanna go riding in N Ga mountains.
So is it possible as the legend says that the soldiers from Fort Seldon chased Geronimo into the cave and he came out some other place ? I've been in the cave several times years ago but not very far .. good video
That's the supposed folk story! I'm not sure if this cave is "the one", but that's what locals called it
@@artofaction and me being a local lol
How do they know this was Geronimos cave? I've tried looking it up online but couldn't find anything? tfs
It's what it's called locally, not sure why it's called Geronimo's cave, but that's what it's known as
✌🏻👊
How many geronimo cave he was regionally from Arizona this crazy
Apacheria knew no bounds of current lines on maps. Quite the opposite. They were very mobile people.
@@lostadamsgold yeah but theirs one it's called geronimo cave in Arizona but it's very cool to watch and hear about other Native Americans tribes what they been through in the past just like my tribe thank you
Cool video. I have a question: who did that music? Upbeat.😇
Thanks for the feedback, John. The music is by Molife
Almost impossible to watch with the jerking camera. Pitty.
As much as i admire people exploring caves , I'm to old & fat to fit into those small gaps . I'll just wait out side & you can tell me all about what you found/seen. Thanks for the share , i really enjoyed this video.
You so crazy.
It was exciting to see inside the caves
Not me buddy. No way.
They called him that name for many reasons one because in the cave well was a shaft that you had to jump into water deeper down and swim thru to get to well another shaft that led deeper nobody has been to an end that I'm aware of unless a cave in happened and could be possible yet the secret societies like to keep it open 👐
Young ,strong ,big balls
It's called grave robbing it's waiting for you one evil medicine man and his medicine in dreams
I doubt anyone was in that cave back in his time, they didn't have flashlights to see where they were going!
You might think that, but in fact people would explore with candles, lanterns, and some evidence has been found suggesting ancient people exploring with torches in other caves
Music sucks! Had to skip the video!
Sorry it's not to your taste 🤷
Lol there is a volume button on your phone for a reason, Karen.
Not in a kazillion years would i do this, wow!! Now the real challenge is to pull all your rope away and find your way out lol. I wonder if there are any flamable gasses in there, certainly Geronimo had to use a torch since flash lights were not around back then.
Is that a grigri?
Yes it was
Rappelling is one thing in which I do not mind doing HOWEVER all that spelunking business 😂 NAW I'M GOOD bc I'm claustrophobic lmao I'm getting anxiety just watching this video lmao COOL VIDEO THOUGH
Girly run of the year…lol. 👍🏽😂
It’s the quest of what is around the corner that drives
What's really interesting about caves, it's inside the remains of a Giant. That once roamed the earth, before the flood.
...
good music, good trip, thanks for taking us along.
Love this video, love this cave too plenty of places to explore, though I'm not sure I have the skills to go where y'all went.
I wouldn't recommend going where we went into the cave without technical experience, but you can explore a nice amount of the cave without any gear other than light!
@@artofaction yeah for sure I would get stuck if I did what you guys did. Was wondering though if you knew how far the cave did go back? I've been about as far as the St initials graffitied on the wall, however I'm a little too fat to make it to that other little hole, looked as of it kept going.
@@artofaction and a helmet.
@@jimleech2364 Without a helmet you gotta watch where you move your head for sure!
@@artofaction Its best to wear a helmet. There could also be falling rocks.
Fu************k that.
