Early Autism Signs in a 1 year old (with video footage)
*** Re-uploaded from my Instagram account from January 2022. Chandler just turned 2 years old and we are currently doing early intervention services. A lot of friends suggested to upload my video to share onto UA-cam as well to help others in a similar situation to us. Both my husband and I watched so many UA-cam videos that other families have shared and it honestly helped us so much in terms of identifying some signs early on. I hope this is helpful and will try to update you as we continue to learn on this journey with Chandler. ***
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi everyone! Sorry the volume of my voice-overs are so low for this video... I was too lazy to actually record with my mic so volume up if you want to hear what I'm saying!
It's been a really busy start to the new year for us since we finally started therapy services for Chandler through CA's Early Start program. We've also gotten an official autism diagnosis now as well for insurance purposes which is a whole other topic of discussion. Anyways, a lot of people have asked me how we even picked up on any signs at such a young age and it was primarily because of what we saw other families share online as well. So like I said in the past, I'm going to share our journey with Chandler with all of you in hopes are spreading more awareness on autism.
These are just some of the early signs we noticed but again it's a spectrum so every one is different. Chan chan is still so young so all of his therapy services are play-based right now but we're hoping to see some progress within the next 6 months! Also, if Chandler totally ignores you the next time you see him in person, now you'll know it's really not you, it's him (but sometimes it can actually be you if you're too much into his personal space 😆)

Herro everyone! This is my first reaction video and of course it's gotta be BgA! lol Sorry I chose to make my reaction smaller than the actual music video, but I already started filming on my husband's gaming program app and realized that it wouldn't be a genuine first reaction if I paused halfway and started over again... so you guys get all the raw reactions (including the annoying BUFFERING!...

ULTIMATE KPOP WEDDING DANCE SURPRISE!
Переглядів 6 тис.7 років тому
Herro everyone! I love kpop and before my wedding, I REALLY wanted to do a dance with our wedding party that has some kpop in it to fulfill my biggest dreams, but we were in a bit of a time crunch and we never got to it. I was pretty bummed, but little did I know, my hubby and some of his closest guy friends helped plan the ultimate surprise. Only him, our DJ, the people in this dance, and my w...
Homemade Pizza Night!

Herro everyone! My friends and I love cooking at home and I decided to document it this time (via the magical world of video editing). This is something fun for anyone to do and you don't have to be a master chef! I know it's probably just easier to call for delivery, but it's so much more fun and delicious when you make it fresh for yourself at home especially when you can customize it however...

I am a retired nurse who used to work with autistic kids in the 70’s. It was a research unit. We had just figured out their behaviors in the early stages. The earlier the intervention the better success in helping them have a more normal life. You are doing a good job. Read everything you can. It will help you understand your young man.

A child is a child. I have 5 kids, so regardless if they're special needs, or autistic, God created us as unique individuals, not robots. One of the beauties about life, always unexpected 😎

PLEASE READ THIS BOOK, ERASING AUTISM by SHAUNA YOUNG. I bought mine on Amazon. It is a book of case studies of children cured of autism. Each one reads like a miracle. My grandson was showing many signs of autism. After going on the diet in this book, he has transformed into a normal two year old. Before, he was rocking in his seat, staring at ceiling fans, not interacting or pointing, even banging his head on the wall. The pediatrician suspected autism because at 18 mo. he was not even babbling at all. After a couple weeks on the diet, he started to babble! Then all of the other strange behavior dropped one after another. He is two now and can talk in complete sentences. He recently said to me, "Grammy needs sunscreen"! The diet is not easy, might require a little OCD on your part! But stay with it, please. Even if you have tried other diets, this one works, even for older children. It can even help adults. Please message me if you need more details or support 🙏🏼 I have no financial interest in this and only share this out of love.

This baby has too many toys. They maybe educational but their little brains cannot cope with soo many items put in front of him. So they go from one thing to the next instead of sitting and playing with just one thing.

Chan Chan is really cute and obviously very smart. I disagree with the view that Chan's spinning and hand flapping is a form of self-stimulation. I would say it is more self-comforting. Mom does not mention sensory sensitivity. I have to say, that at an early part of the video, I had to mute the sound. There was too much background noise. This was probably perceived by mom to be music or language exposure for Chan, but perhaps perceived by Chan as overstimulating and distracting.

I’m sorry this sounds like most every child - I would be very careful of having him diagnosed ASD. The schools and therapists want have every kid have some developmental issue. Then they’ll need therapy or medication all their life, they’ll have self esteem issues which will lead to greater problems. Use common sense. Every child developed at different stages. You can help and redirect, but you can also set appropriate boundaries. None of the things he does sound like major problems- don’t make him think he has one🙏🏻. He seems like an intelligent little boy, give him encouragement & stimulation, but also discipline and consistency.

Thomas The Tank Engine is very helpful to kids with ASD. Having objects like trains with faces that teach expressions is something they usually react very positively to and learn from.

He may be a genius in the area of numbers and math. A baby doesn't act like regular or normal as other babies, doesn't mean something wrong or called autism , could be in highly perception, that we human don't understand.
