Im surprised by how much people misunderstood completely Noelle and thinks that she is toxic or even creppy. I found her kinda cute and just as someone with a lot of behaviors and thoughts that could be perceived as "weird", especially because by her own nature as someone very shy who can get a bit nervous from time to time. I understand that this misconception of hers is related as how we can have a complete different interpretation of each character... but man, i still can't understand why people thinks that she's toxic... for me, there's no way for her to be THAT.

Even as someone who isn’t that big a fan of this pairing, I really love getting to see this deep dive into it. Getting into not only supporting factors for it but how it affects/will affect the broader narrative is a great way to look at shipping.

Back when I played Deltarune in 2019, I dropped Asgore's bouquet in front of the door of the flower shop. The text for dropping it says, "You threw the Bouquet on the ground like the piece of trash it is." Trash. I know we control Kris, but that action seemed a bit extreme. Since then, I've believed that Kris resents Asgore, so I'm not sure if I agree with your theory that Kris wants to save their parents' relationship. I'm curious what will happen.

My desire for more Deltarune just suddenly spiked this week and these videos are keeping me fed.

I seem to have a different perception of Berdly than anyone else. Mostly in his relationship with Kris. I always saw them both as the stereotipical male asshole friendship. Kris and Noelle is really "we used to be friends" With Berdly is "Ready to be smashed next sunday?! *teases Kris about the erotic drawing book*" If Noelle and Catti are stranged friends, i always saw Berdly as Kris only actual current friend. But both are kind of assholes. In my mind he is someone who takes anything at face value. For example 'Noelle helps me be number 1' but how would that be posible if he doesnt work harder? I also believe he is much, much more important to the end plot. Bluebird of missfortune shares a leitmotiff with the legend, and its almost the same one as the secret bosses theme. We all asumed that Susie was the monster in the legend, but isnt Beardly also a axe wielding monster? I believe that he wont die in the snowgrave route, he will be 'in a coma' and will take the second hospital bed, he will have a cast if his wing gets burned up.

yknow the revelation that both the main and secret boss of chapter 2 have a lesson to teach their respective new lightener makes me wonder if this is a recurring theme. perhaps jevil was meant to be for kris, a beloved trickster who was abandoned for taking things too far? what sort of boss would correspond to toriel in chapter 3? what would darkeners for the other characters look like?

As much as I would like to see toriel and asgore get back together, it's not happening. They are a great couple but as you have pointed out in this video, they are bad parents. I'm curious to see how asgore would react if/when Toriel starts dating sans or someone else. He'll probably be forced to face reality

He's not the main focus of the fic, that's Kris, but the way Jungledragon portrays him is so good. honestly i'd be down for the two getting together, main issue i have with canon shipping is writers most often keep the characters in the infactuation phase to avoid writing an actual relationship. it's like the hero gets the girl trope except stretched out for an entire series. so if toby is gonna get them together, i'd like it to be around the middle of the game so we can actually enjoy seeing them fumbling in the early days of the relationship. what can i say i just find relationship dynamics cute and vastly prefer them over prolongued simping resulting in a incel "nice guy" character.

I feel bad for berdly because deep down he genuinely cares for and likes noelle kris and susie. Hes just going about everything in the wrongest way possible, possibly because of neglect and neurodivergence. I hope we get to see more of him becoming a better person
