ohhh this is wonderful. love inspecting the romantic undertones of snowgrave but this is a specific perspective i havent thought about......... noelle thinks shes becoming more like susie .. augh

Berdly is the exact mirror image of my first DnD character (some noble elf boy who thought he was better than everyone and actually glowed in the dark) so of course the second I saw berdly, I felt like a proud parent watching her cringy child think he’s cooler than he actually is. Gotta love these undertale/deltarune characters hitting so close to home.

19:15 Hmmm wasnt really a fan of gaster knight before but framed this way it does sound¸ interesting. The whole idea of "this characters wants to help you, but they know that your journey require an obstacle so they take on that role themselves" remind me of the adversary in last hero of nostalgaia which was one of my favorite character in that game.

Yooo this is absolutely fire, I loved how you showcased Noelle's admiration and love for Susie, while at the same time showing how depressed she was from being abused in Snowgrave.

I can also see the divorce coming in from a potential secret boss. Every secret boss so far was based on things at are discarded; Jevil the joker that's often removed from the deck in most games, Spamton a spam email most just trash until they clear out the folder. There's not much with TV that fits that theme, maybe a cancelled show, but there's something in the Dreemur household that does, the flowers Asgore keep sending only to end up in the trash. Look at this from the flowers' perspective, this guy puts a lot of effort in making sure you are grown to be beautiful and fragrant, you expect to be appreciated, but he suddenly stops that gives you to the real target of his affection and she just unceremoniously discards you, seems like that would make you want some of that sweet freedom juice if a mysterious figure offers a shadow crystal. With that power, that knowledge you think you're free, free from all the drama of a forlorn love not realizing the roots now go down deeper and deeper, and you are not free at all. I've seen some nice fan animations and tracks that go on this route here on UA-cam, Rosie the Revenger and the Immortal Hydrangea are my favorites, but do you think of this idea?

I love how with this animatic, it's impossible to tell who, at any given time, is being called the "monster from hell." I can't wait to see how the Weird route affects Noelle in the future, I REALLY want to see it continue as dark and messed up as Chapter 2 was to start with, diving deep into dissecting Noelle and Kris as characters. Regardless of how it plays out though, we'll still arrive at the same conclusion as the normal route. But you have to wonder... Is changing how you get to an end truly the same as having the freedom to decide your fate? And, if so... Can we still make Woody theory real before Chapter 3 and 4 drop????

This might've not been exactly what you were going for in the animatic, though I like the idea that Susie is the monster being sung of, as an opposite to Noelle's heightened connection to her own religious themes. In the Snowgrave route, Noelle has her agency revoked, as a result of the player abusing her inability to object. On the same route, the Christian imagery seen in the game becomes far more apparent, primarily in regards to how Noelle interacts with the Thorn Ring and grows closer to the concept of an angel. Thus, it'd be logical to assume that the Snowgrave route further transitions Noelle into an "angel from Heaven". On the other side of the spectrum, Susie is meant to constantly break the rules of what's expected in terms of the plot. This is obviously seen in Chapter 1 with how she refuses to ACT for the majority of the adventure, though continues to be explored in how she-- for example-- alters the path Kris goes on midway through Chapter 2, which indirectly leads the player to Noelle. From the perspective of Snowgrave, Susie is an absolute reversal of an RPG character in the player's control: she is a "monster from Hell".

Is it a sign that this was posted the day after I uploaded a new chapter of my Suselle centric Snowgrave fic, after a 4-5 month hiatus?

While may it seem like thr michelle is Susie, but a little closer it may be Noelle(snowgrave). I have to said this song reminds me of the singer Neko Case, especially the marget vs Pauline. Seriously i recommend her
