@@HazeAnderson the Deco truly is one of the greatest pedals. I used to have it on a desk at all times but I love it too much on guitar so it lives on a board now. I’ve never played the pedal or the module version of Afterneath. I need to. Pyramids would be fun too. There really aren’t that many flangers in eurorack huh?

@@BounceChord I can't say how many flangers in Eurorack there are off the top of my head but consider this ---(caveat: potentially, this especially applies to 100% analog modules) if modules are the building blocks of synthesizers then they are also the building blocks of effects. 😉

@BounceChord The erica one is digital. I needed a clean delay with no extra sauce or crunch. Was kinda next in that pricerange. Right now, I believe the 4ms sounded a bit better/cleaner, but it could be error on my side pretty well. I like erica generally really much. Propably not the last I will get, I need it for short timings in sound design rather for musical rhythmic repeats or ping pong

@ The Basil is cool in that way because it can be really simple or get wild and wacky. I need to check out more from Erica. I’ve only ever used the Pico Drum.

@@shufflephunk yeah, I’m kinda old school at this point since I learned most of my production skills twenty years ago but I feel like a lot of modern music makers are using digital “clipping” to their advantage.

@@avividbloom I never even thought about this before someone asked. It’s not a giant volume drop and I rarely have the mix set above 12 anyway but it’s something to consider for sure. I wonder if any reverb pedals have addressed this.

@BounceChord you can put the return effects loop anywhere in the signal chain on line 6. So I put one synth VCA into the Return L and one into Return R and join the signals into stereo before delay and reverb DSPs. I didn’t really expect that to work but it does so I do.

@ haha that does sound like something that wouldn’t work at all but that’s rad that it does.

@@RaffRobinson hmm, I’ve never really noticed it in this one. It is great though. I have a love/dislike relationship with it.

@ also, individual out are great but need reamp because output line-level (+4db) don’t match with pedals instrument level (-10db). It’s hard to have great result, sound is smashed hard
