This is definitely one of those movie's that needs a director's cut. Between the alternative scenes, extended scenes, it'd probably be like 15+ minutes longer while still having a lot of the same material still in there for the most part. The "only survivor" ending was also far superior, especially because between Brenda with the guns, Shorty's head "lid" being pulled off, and more, the hints and foreshadowing were all there, and some were still in the movie.
