I think her memory is a bit off here. Her first video was Everybody which really never got played, but burning up was clearly her second video & while it probably didn't get the rotations he would have wanted, it did get played. I think borderline came after.

This film crew really was not good at creating a concise story line and telling the talent (in this case Madonna) what to do at what precise moment BEFORE the talent arrives on set. That's why music videos are so expensive because crews are tweaking things the day of shoot instead of getting all those kinks out before shoot day so that the talent doesn't have to sit around until they figure it out. It's like building a building. The construction workers are not going to be told the day of the constructions how to do their work. The Civil Engineer will first draw up everything like a puzzle and then tell each crew what has to be done and how. Then each crew comes in and does electrical, plumbing, and so forth. But here they just bring her a vale with no pins to attach it on her. This is embarrassing to watch how inept they are. No wonder Madonna was called difficult to work with. It's not her fault. She knows exactly how it should happen. But crews don't. That's where conflict and shoot delays occur. Then Madonna has to pay for the ENTIRE shoot days. She is the boss there. All of these delays come out of her paycheck.

This is the closest Madonna has come to being taken hostage by ISIS......... or at least that is what her facial desperation expressions conveyed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Madonna should have just said....... "Hi I"m Madonna and these aholes are making me do this segment over and over again for no reason" and then she should have just walked away giving them the middle finger and yelling at them "USE WHAT YOU HAVE SCROTUM BREATH" !!!

Se a Gabi queria que a Madonna desenvolvesse mais as perguntas, devia ter sido mais específica. Queria que a Madonna comentasse mais sobre as censuras e críticas que sofreu? Perguntasse: "O que você sentiu quando o Papa convocou um boicote mundial a você e até a Pepsi desistiu de patrocinar a sua turnê?", "O que você acha do Papa?", "E quando a MTV se recusou a exibir o seu vídeo Justify My Love?". Queria saber o que a Madonna pensa da Camille Paglia? Perguntasse: "O que você acha do trabalho dela? Da teoria de gênero que ela criou? Das críticas que ela faz ao feminismo?". O que mais tem são entrevistados econômicos e objetivos por aí e ninguém sai dizendo que eles são arrogantes. Esses tu precisa puxar e guiar mesmo. Acho que a Gabi se acostumou a os famosos tratarem a entrevista dela como um evento enorme e acabou deixando de lado esses macetes básicos do seu ofício... 2- Várias perguntas ali eram bem ruinzinhas. "O que é verdade?", "Como você se relaciona com a família?", "O que significa ser ítalo-americana?"... 3- O inglês da Gabi é sofrível. Várias perguntas estão mal formuladas e mal pronunciadas. "You've changed into yoga" significa "Você se transformou em yoga". "What represents being a mother?" dá uma ideia de que ela está perguntando qual seria o símbolo da maternidade. Do jeito como ela pronunciou "truth" (="verdade"), o que ela acabou dizendo foi "truce", que significa "trégua"... "You conceded to marketing" não está errado, mas não é a formulação mais natural do conceito. Um outro verbo como "give in" ou "embrace" soaria melhor. E a pergunta sobre os 40 anos foi um amontoado de palavras sem nenhum nexo. É que o tradutor consertou na hora de elaborar as legendas, mas quem fala inglês percebeu. Não é à toa que a Madonna precisou parar várias vezes para confirmar o que a Gabi estava dizendo... 4- Chamar a Madonna de "Material Girl" e afirmar que ela só passou a se importar com espiritualidade depois de ser mãe é entregar um atestado de "Eu não me preparei para esta entrevista e não sei p*rra nenhuma sobre a Madonna". Sinto muito. Ao mesmo tempo... Não é porque o outro fez um trabalho ruim que tu pode debochar e ridicularizar. Especialmente quando tu diz ser uma pessoa espiritualizada que trata os outros com compaixão e não julga ninguém. A entrevista não tá boa? Tem educação, responde até o fim do jeito que der e vai embora.
