Good day and welcome to my Channel features lots of train related content most in South Australia where i'm from but have interstate trains featuring. Plan to do interstate train chasing more in the future. This channel is for big kids and little ones can watch with them please. I volunteer at 3 places with miniature and full size although narrow guage. So some videos have been made in special locations thanks to volunteering, When FIlming be mindful of others, always listen out when by the rail line and Be rail aware at all times regardless.
A shot I like doing is highly edited so but careful as all times. My channel has a few Paddlesteamer videos and they are on it as well. If you ever see me trackside say good day and always happy to talk to and never know you might see me on the train as a volunteer.
All Videos are designed with music for a childhood memory and plus as I'm a big kids myself the Thomas theme is on it just modified to suit so sit back enjoy the videos on here

Dear viewers one shot in this according to people I'm in the wrong on filming. Like all spots be careful and respectful also editing and other factors involved. Trail and Error too.
Why only show the locos going past?
@xavs_rails because they asked to edit due me wearing one of there vests and having issues and so watched footage edit as needed.
@ fair enough
So Shortest video and only Miniature railway video until I may do another one this year who knows hope you like it if not don't watch it please thanks
So something others do but thought I would as my last few freight chases have been in the mid north with a bonus clip. All done safely and with a new editor hope you like it cheers Dislikers buzz off please thanks
Poor effort. No details of how main chute was nobbled. Plus you twice referred to it being CUT away. What with, her nail scissors? Crass terminology. Usual cliche - investigation was 'launched'. Was it a 'full' one? Ships and rockets are launched, investigations are begun.
So my trolls on this why others like this yes the subtitles are quick whoops and miss judged it
Good work, young man! And the view count is doing pretty well too! So happy for ya lad. Need to catch up after we’ve sold the house for sure. Been far too long. Keep well and give massive hug to your Momo too! Regards one of your oldest preservation friends, Caleb

@@WHDRWN it is full of history and fact that victor harbour could of been Adelaide is more interesting too
Used to call those locomotives Mustard Pots, partly because of the colour scheme but mainly for the design of the exhaust on the roof of the locomotive. 😊 Very cool video thank you for the different views of the line.
@Ghastly10 thanks mate I do my best and even was aiming for more different shots which when the southern encounters come back will be handy
When they transferred twenty or so 830 class Goodwin Alco's to Tasmania they had to cut the exhaust stacks off to get through the North East and South tunnel. They were always dirty covered in black greasy soot.
@@rsinclair6560 that is happening on 843 at Pichi Richi
@@daviobryker No worries you have done a great job on this video. I remember back in the 80's when the state government still owned the line, we would catch a Bluebird service from Mount Lofty railway station to Goolwa. We met some cool people down there that owned a house at Middleton, right next to the railway line. Every so often I would see a freight train going to Victor Harbor, and most of the time it would be these locomotives pulling the train.

That H car painted in silver and carnation red needs paint stripper on it immediately. That paint livery was an act of vandalism and is a period of tramway history best forgotten. It is also synonymous with the decision to scrap the order for the H1 class which is a tram lovers dream. I am 71 years old and my memories of Adelaide trams include the striped canvass blinds, the signal box at Victoria square the sparks from the trolley wire and spotting trams in King William Street that had not been painted silver. I remember so desperately wanting to ride 'the brown one' but it was running to Payneham and we were waiting for the tram to Walkerville North. Thankfully I had the good sense to spend my working life in Melbourne - on the trams. Like Angas Street Depot, the former Hanna Street Depot on Kingsway South Melbourne is gone. The St Kilda museum is a slice of Heaven on Earth. Keep posting. Love it!
@@jeffrey3895 thanks mate well from not going out to see them to seeing them 3 times this year is kind of cool. Y tram history is what they’ve give us and I wish the heritage trams were on the main network sometimes
@@daviobryker Unfortunately we will never see those trams running in Adelaide streets again because the trolley wire has air gaps instead of section insulators for pantograph only operation. The H cars and the Melbourne W's look ridiculous with pantographs. Half the fleet of Melbourne's A class were originally fitted with trolley poles. If ever you are in Melbourne, they are easily spotted as like the Z class, they had a chrome rail across the top of the destination box to stop wear from the trolley rope against the fibreglass roofline. Hate any modifications done to the original design. Hope the museum can source an original Z1 with open cab, conductor's console, trolley poles and shutter type destinations. A must for any museum. Think Loftus has a Z2.
Ah, as the old saying goes, you brought your neck to my woods... wait, no that's not it. My neck is wood... no. You came to my neck of the woods. YES! I knew I'd get it right eventually.😁
I'm looking forward to one day see the return of passenger services to Mount Barker, and eventually a daily commuter service from Murray Bridge. So I'm writing to Tom Koutsantonis, asking him to move forward with changing the suburban lines to standard gauge. So much work has already been done, it's about time we finished the job.😊
@martythemartian99 should happen mount barker has grown from the 90s and like the south it needs it but AN or ARTC don't see it working and left non convertible sleepers on the ground
@@daviobryker Really? Wow! I've seen so many convertible sleepers on other lines, it's surprising the Belair Line was left out. Still, in the long term it is better to go standard gauge than to use cars with convertible bogies. I think they are a gimmick and any money saved in the short term, will be spent on maintaining them.
@martythemartian99 no the Standard side never was done in 95 only metro did for future although seaford line isn't right regarding which side it's on
Will we be seeing some new face to face content coming up?? Great video mate, like the little change up

@thebops4180 they did it was recently repainted and currently on of the 2 is on the ghan as one kissed a car at Mambray Creek in April apparently
A couple of years ago the Victorian Government was subsidising The Overland with a review in 3 years or so, the LNP SA government wasn’t interested. Not sure what the Labor SA government is planning. Vline reserves one car for passengers beyond Horsham.
@darylcheshire1618 that would explain the first car empty the other day well I think Labor has put a bit towards it now unsure though.
Considering how beautiful the country along this route is, I feel they should promote tourism for the Overland, with a few upgraded cars. Wouldn't need Indian Pacific level of luxury.
@martythemartian99 I'm hoping one day if a tour from NSW came over the overland and it came together and ran to Victoria. Be perfect
